Look at his record people he missed 60% of the votes do you want another president that is only at the White House at his whim. Also he has helped the poor in a foreign country what has he done for the poor in the United States? And Revvy what about Osama's hate filled supporters even in Mississippi more people want Hillary on the ticket if Obama wins than Obama on the ticket if Hillary wins which says they are really not 100% behind him. And Lin Lo Osama really lacks in character if I can't be number 1 I don't want anything, EGO!!! Devin I have heard Republicans say they are voting for Obama not because they like him but because they know they can beat him.

Obama leading in Mississippi

Dee Dawg in California: Then I suggest you move to the Middle East.....I'm sure you'd be thrilled with their democracy! {Oh, make sure you cover your face)

Obama leading in Mississippi

I can't believe what I am reading . And very disapointed in msnbc. Freedom of speach is one thing but at least show some professionalism and respect.
Obama leading in Mississippi

This country continually shows it's ignorance. First, taking affirmative action out of the equation, ask a black citizen when their race has been as asset to them professionally. While I recognize sexism, I have also know several women who have benefitted from their gender. To even suggest that sexism is the bigger issue we face as a culture is ludacris.
Futhermore, why does this country as a whole have such a difficult time recognizing that all Muslims are NOT terrorists?! This ignorant perspective is akin to suggesting all Christians aspire to blow up abortion clinics. The world is watching, time to show we have advanced in the past 150 years....and this is coming from a middle age, highly educated, socially responsible WHITE woman.

Obama leading in Mississippi

I'm noticing more and more lately that the Democratic Party doesn't put up winning candidates so much as surviving candidates. Perhaps if they put more effort into demonstrating why they ARE qualified for office and less into why their opponents AREN'T, they'd have some juice to spare for after the convention.

Obama leading in Mississippi

It takes a woman to tell the truth about Obama. I see some of you have the attitude that " Of course he won Mississippi, black people are voting for him 9 out of 10 times." While I admit it is undeniable that he overwhelmingly has the majority of "black vote", I do not buy that this is the only way he is winning. I also understand the kind of solidarity some African Americans may feel for him. I do not believe, though, that the majority of African Americans would vote for him if he wasn't the fantastic candidate that he is.

I want to point out also, if you think his success can only be attributed to race and the "black vote" for Barack Obama, how do you explain his huge wins in states like the following:

Maine he won 59 % of the vote to Clinton's 40% - Maine is 1% African American, 96% White

Idaho - Obama 80%, Clinton 17% - Idaho is listed as being 86 % white, 0 % African American (Yes, it's listed as 0.)

Vermont- Obama 59 %, Clinton 39%- Vermont is 96% white, 1% African American

Wisconsin- Obama 58%, Clinton 41 %- Wisconsin is 86 % white, 6% African American.

Do you get my point?

Do the math people. It's not about race. It's about what Mr. Obama offers us after 7+ years under the Bush Admin. He offers us HOPE and MORE..because he is willing to stand up and say and convince us to join him in saying WE CAN and WILL MAKE THINGS BETTER ...TOGETHER..and he offers it to all Americans regardless of race.

Seems we have been living in the fog of fear and hopelessness for so long, so many of us have all but forgotten there was any such thing as HOPE and possibilities.

I support Obama all the way to the White House!!

Oh...PS...I'm one of the 96% of white folks from Maine. :0P

Obama leading in Mississippi

Here we are democrats fighting against democrats, shouldn't we be working towards getting rid of the republicans?
We are fools playing to the media tune!
