Why are networks interviewing Romney? He lost. He's a non-issue now. If he becomes a VP nominee then he can come back into the spot light. For now he just needs to concentrate on making back the money he lost during the campaign.

He was born in Berkeley, California, and became an aviation enthusiast at an early age, earning his pilot's certificate at age 18.
He remained in this position until resigning on 1 December 2003, followed by retirement in March 2004. His resignation was forced over the fallout from the freezing of a tanker contract with the US Air Force. This occurred due to an investigation of a former procurement staffer, Darleen Druyun, over corruption charges (he offered her work at Boeing while she was still a U.S. Government employee, a violation of Boeing ethics).

Druyun graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu and the executive education program at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University

In 1993 Darleen Druyun was investigated for her involvement in a plan to speed up payments by the Air Force to McDonnell Douglas [2]. Although several other people involved were discharged, Druyun kept her position. In 2000 Druyun sent the resumes of her daughter, a recent college graduate, and her daughter's fiancé, a published PhD Aeronautical Engineer, to Boeing and both were hired [3]. Although this was a conflict of interest, it was not illegal. The investigation into her illegal activities was spearheaded by Senator John McCain.[

Michael M. Sears is a former Boeing executive.

In 1992 Mr. Sears led the successful development of the F/A-18 E/F program, which has been cited as the best managed aircraft DoD program in DoD history.

In 1997, Mr. Sears was President of the Douglas Aircraft Company division of McDonnell Douglas.

In 2003, Mr. Sears was Boeing CFO.

Boeing terminated Mr. Sears on November 24, 2003 as the result of corruption allegations relating to the improper hiring of Darleen Druyun.

Did McCain step on some democrat toes breaking up this ring of corruption?

Why are all the "pundits" suggesting McCain pick a woman for VP, not based on qualification or abilities, only because it would represent "change"?

Sen. McCain should select someone who has the highest ethical standards/honesty, a conservative, someone with a common touch and has accomplishments in reforming government. The ideal choice is Sarah Palin.

It is a crime to use American taxpayer's tax money to provide jobs to the people of France. There is NO excuse, Halliburton was handed the contract for rebuilding Iraq without bidding (also illigal)and the Defense Dept. says Airbus got the contract because the bid was lower.
