How come Keith Olbermann didn't do a "Special Comment" about the horrible remarks that Jesse Jackson Jr made about Hillary on THEIR NETWORK?

Jesse Jackson Jr comments about Hillary not crying over DEAD Katrina victims should have gotten a "Special Comment" from Keith Olberman.

Also, there was racial overtone in his remarks. Jackson implied that because she was WHITE she didn't cry or cared about the DEAD Katrina victims.

Obama never denounce these comments and Jackson is still a high level staff member in the Obama's camp

As matter of fact, the media rarely even mention Jackson comments.

Also, did Keith do a "Special Comment" about David Axelrod indirectly accusing Hillary Clinton of Bhutto's Murder? How come David Axelrod (Obama's chief strategist) didn't get fired?

I think even Norah O'Donnell found Jackson comments outrageous.

Why are there no stories regarding how the McCain campaign can use this to court minority voters?

Farraro's comment that Obama is only successful because he is black (vield affirmative action reference) and PA's governor's suggestion that primary voters should consider the racist attitude of voters in the general election who would never vote for an African American can be used by the GOP to court minority voters to show the hypocrisy of the Democratic party. I know many minority voters that are offended by the attitudes displayed by prominent Democrats like Ferraro and PA's governor, so why not use it against the Democrats generally?

Who doesn't doubt that the other Democratic candidates wouldn't be encouraging anti-Hispanic sentiment if Bill Richardson was in the race?

I am surprised that the GOP is not laying the ground work to appeal to indpendent minority voters who are turned off by the hypocrisy of the Democratic party.

I think that these statements are right on. She is right to say that YES, the fact that he is African-American gives him a unique perspective and validates his cries for change and hope. He cites the struggles of the African-American people and of his parents who he claims met in the trenches of the war against segregation and prejudism in his inspirational and troop rallying speeches. I am disheartened to see him portray this as negative when it is brought to light by a white woman when he uses it to validate his vision of hope!

I am curious as to why Keith Oberman in his special comment last night was equating Ferraro's comments to those of Farahkan (reject and denounce) instead of to Power's "monster" comment. It seems that sexism is not as bad as racism in his view. There was no special comment when McCain did not immediately repudiate the supporter who called Hillary the B word. The subtlety of comments and actions against Hillary's sex are not so subtle if you look for them. I suppose tonight's special comment will be on Pat Buchanin for agreeing with Ferraro and on Chris Matthews for agreeing with Pat. Should be interesting!

Obama didn't bring up his race. Ferraro did. She obviously just has some of her own personal issues she needs to deal with, her rants on television were downright disgusting.

Yes, there are people who will vote for Obama because he is black. There are also a lot more people who will NOT vote for him because he is black.

Suggesting that he is there only because of the color of his skin implies that he has no other merits, and that everyone voting for him is doing so because of the color of his skin. Both of these points are false, offensive, and essentially racist.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, in her lack of condemnation and refutation of these comments, invites race and racism as a part of her campaign. It is disgusting and anti-American.

Remember in the old Dick van Dyke show when the writers for the "Alan Brady Show" - Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke), Buddy Sorrell (Morey Amsterdam), and Sally Rogers (Rose Marie) - would meet with the excitable Alan Brady (Carl Reiner)? Either Rob or Sally would almost always have some piece of food with them to put in Buddy's mouth to avoid him from saying something to Alan that would get the team in trouble.
