Funny how the Clinton camp is stating that the Obama camp is going on the offensive with attack tactics by simply asking for her tax returns. I see nothing offensive abut it. The American public wants her to release those returns as well.

These are not the issues we americans want to talk about, but The Obama campaign has shied away from talking issues and went for symbolic arguments that suggest the Clintons cannot be trusted based on their own personal fiscal life.
Sounds like Obama is the bamboozler here, taking high minded stances on nothing but words and ignoring the issues we americans want to hear about.
What did you say, Obama recieved more money from Rezco than originally stated, oppppps, can't talk about that, that would mean looking into things best ignored.
Can't have a hero when he has warts, we must call the one candidate a monster and ignore the problems that the other candidate has.
Watching Senator Obama trying to explain away the difference in his first pronouncments and his recent information about money and Rezco makes him look like a liar and a bamboozling hoodwinker, or is that just code for a racist?
Like I said, I will vote for the democratic candidate, who ever it may be but I will not pretend that Clinton is all evil and Obama is all good.

I find it curious why Hillary is being linked to the contributions to Bill's foundation and library yet none of this was asked for during the 2 Bush campaigns. Perhaps if there were more questions as to how Bush 2 was planning to rectify Bus 1's presidency, we wouldn't be in this mess.

I think if the Clinton camp is going to crow about her Republican support then we should look closely at the Republican support (when, why, how) and that the timing is suspicious. I hope the superdelegates (should they seek to override delegate count and popular vote leaders, big mistake if they do but of course they could), anyhow if they do need to look behind the delegate vote winner, then I hope they don't do so simply thinking that Clinton will get a lot of Republican support because I really don't think that is what will happen in Nov. because of everything reported so far.

Obama, on the other hand, has garnered support from the GOP and indys this whole primary season, for reasons that suggest they are likely to vote for him in the Fall.

My belief is that Obama should stay positive and focus on issues (as should Clinton) but I think its entirely fair game to defend himself from attacks and I also think its a legitimate issue for the campaign and the media to highlight two things on Clinton.

These two things are her relative LACK of disclosure (the secrecy issue) and her willingness to tear the party apart through breaking and bending rules to win the Nomination. These bear directly on how she is likely to lead and govern should she ever obtain the Presidency (and it would be obtaining rather than winning). Obama needs to stay on the issues, but clearly how Clinton is campaigning bears on her leadership "qualities" and its fair for scrutiny.

Of all the things that frustrate me, its the working class white vote. We live in a diverse working class town. I just don't see a Clinton presidency as being any different than business as usual in Washington...I truly don't see how these white working class voters see her as the superior candidate and I have to ask myself is this anti-Obama voting versus pro-Clinton voting (and then one inevitably turns to asking oneself why?).

To a large extent I can understand the white older woman vote as brand loyalty to Clinton but I just don't get it with the white working class. You just wonder what else is going on...

The reason that information from the library is relevant is because Clinton is claiming experience during her years as First Lady, and the documents that the library is holding would reveal her schedules, notes, and additional information.

Bush 2 didn't have a whole lot to do with Bush 1's presidency (as far as I know, I could be wrong), which is why this question wasn't raised of him.

In addition, it appears to me that the Clinton's have a significant history of secrecy.

This is a legitimate question, based on the blatant race baiting and religious bigotry that have been promoted by the Clinton campaign in its desperate drive to derail Obama’s possible nomination as presidential candidate of the Democratic Party.

The so-called liberal media have not sufficiently condemned Hillary Clinton's dangerous strategies. If such heinous machinations were employed by a Republican candidate that candidate would be universally criticized.

The Clintons’ race baiting and religious bigotry are broadcast through traditional mass media and through the Internet. These outlets serve the same function, unwittingly or otherwise, that

Radio-Television Libre Milles Collines did in Rwanda in 1994, during the genocide; which was to inflame hostilities between ethnic Hutus and Tutsis in Rwanda.

This is not to suggest genocidal eruption in the U.S. In this case, the hateful Clinton message could direct violence at candidate Obama.

Sounds like a fantasy? Clearly the Clintons are not focused on engaging Senator Obama on the issues.

Consider that the Clintons know that they cannot possibly catch up with Senator Obama in the pledged delegates count. Moreover, the Clintons know that their chances of narrowing the gap with Obama has also been diminished now that a majority of undeclared superdelegates have indicated a preference to support the candidate with the most pledged delegates at the end of the primaries and caucuses in June.

So why continue with the race baiting?

Previously, we had argued that the Clintons have used race baiting, as exemplified by the recent bigoted remarks by Clinton acolyte Geraldine Ferraro --that Obama wouldn’t be where he is today if he were not a Black man-- in order to drive white votes away from Obama in places like Pennsylvania.

Yet, that’s only a partial objective. Even if in the campaign’s calculations, Clinton can win by a wide margin Pennsylvania and other states where race baiting can work, at the end of the day, Obama will still maintain a substantial delegates lead. The Clintons know this fact.

So, might there not be a more sinister motive in play? We need an answer from the Clintons.

Race baiting and religious bigotry, have been features of the Clintons’ strategy all along: First they had a campaign official suggest that Obama may have been a drug dealer; they had an acolyte claim Obama had been trained in a madrassa; they sent the picture of Obama wearing the traditional Somali Islamic attire to the Drudge Report, according to Drudge himself; they darkened Obama’s feature in a commercial used by the Clintons; in the sinister “red phone” commercial, professor Orlando Patterson suggested, by showing the sleeping white girl, they may have wanted to create the impression of danger in the form of a Black man lurking somewhere; responding to a question in a "60 Minutes" interview, Clinton maliciously said Obama was not a Muslim “as far as” she knew, when Senator Obama has categorically repeated numerous times that he is a Christian; and, finally, the recent remarks by Geraldine Ferraro.

It is difficult for us to believe that the Clintons, very intelligent as they are, haven’t imagined that such race baiting and religious bigotry can have the consequence we are pointing out.

This is a disturbing, dangerous and scary thought".

CAREER DEVELOPMENT - provides information, training and job fairs to enable unemployed and underemployed members to compete and upgrade their employability for jobs with employers seeking "good" employees.

CARIBBEAN CONNECTION - This ministry is our Afrocentric congregation's attempt to educate our North American members about the many aspects of the Caribbean culture. These aspects include the cuisine, the peoples, the countries, the customs, and the religion of our Lord as practiced in the various Caribbean places.

CHURCH IN SOCIETY - (CIS) - continually seeks ways and opportunities to educate, inform and empower the congregation and community to understand, identify and to be effective advocates for social justice policies that better our lives and our world.

CHURCH SCHOOL - meets Saturday mornings and provides Bible instructions in classes for pre-school through adults.

COMMITTEE FOR CHURCH IN SOCIETY (CIS) - works to establish Christian principles in the economic, social and political aspects of our church and community life.

COUNSELING MINISTRY -Masters Degree Holders in counseling or related professions, enable Church members to receive private, Christian counseling in matters of individual, family, group and/or grief crises.

DANCE MINISTRY - includes children, youth, men and women who are taught the principles of modern dance, ballet, and interpretive dance. They are also taught the African roots of dance in worship and the biblical basis for praising God with dance!

TAPE VISITATION MINISTRY - enhances the overall ministry of sick visitation by personally carrying services of worship (audio cassettes) to members and extended family who are hospitalized, shut-in at home and/or extended care facilities.

TRINITY COMPUTER LEARNING CENTER
Trinity Computer Learning Center (TCLC) is a faith-based training facility for Trinity United Church of Christ and the community at large using computer technology to help cross the digital divide.

YOUTH CHURCH MINISTRY PARTNERS - are committed to teaching children ages 3-10 years of age about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the use of Christian Education materials, music, prayers, and crafts, your child can participate in an atmosphere that is designed to teach them all the elements of worship. 3-year olds must be potty-trained and not wearing pull-ups. Space is limited to a first-come first-served basis at the 7:30 am and 11:00 am services. The space is also limited by the capacity of the classrooms for your child's particular age group.

Mark, it's absolutely silly to say that Obama's request that Hillary release her tax returns, earmarks, and library donations is "nastier and more personal." That sound suspiciously like kool-aid ingestion. Demanding transparency is not nasty politics.

Why is there a "release date" for Hillary's tax returns? Why do they know they'll be ready to release on April 15, but that they won't be ready before then? Is it her fondest hope that the week between that revelation and the Penn primary won't be long enough to screw her chances?
