The interesting thing will be that if she downplays this schedule entry, then how can she claim other stuff on the schedules bolsters her 'experience'? But if she does claim the schedules demonstrate her experience, then she has to (1) own NAFTA and (2) MORE IMPORTANTLy face a real caught-in-the-act credibility problem with her comments in the last debate. It can't all be true. And, it taps into the idea that she'll say what is politically convenient as opposed to something she really believes in, which (1) makes it look like she only believes her own personal gain and (2) reminds of of similar flip-flop stands on Michigan, Iraq war authorization, drivers licenses.... and the list goes on.

I think Hillary is badly hurting her creditibility. If it is determined that much of her 'experience' she uses as the basis for convincing voters to be in clear contradiction of whatever she releases to the public, Republicans will happily seize upon her falseholds and portray her a a person of significant creditibility problems, the same thing that occurred to Bush ocne he became president.
I am also anxious to see her tax returns and her donor list because if he continues to use Rezko in her line of attack against Obama, we may find something there that reeals something far mroe shocking than the Rezko saga.

I have a problem with Hilliary Clinton challenging Obama to hold up the constitution for people to vote and it is a civil rights issue. Excuse me Hilliary, were you thinking about voters civil rights and the constitution when you signed the memo agreeing to not let the delegates in Michigan and Florida to be seated in the convention. This flip flop with the voters and Clinton is a problem. Hilliary's statements about her foreign policy experience has been debunked and the release of her white house papers as first lady also strengthens the aforementioned statement. She flipped-flop on the war on Iraq and the seating of the MI and FL delegates. Voters have said that they don't want a liar in the white house which is why they won't vote for Obama. Then why vote for Hilliary? First, Obama did not lie because the media has proven he was not present during the videos that show the inflammatory comments of his ex-pastor. I am not comprehending the logic of the voters that Obama lied. Voters are willing to forgive the lies of Hilliary and McCain who voted for the war that cost 4,000 Americans lives. Voters can forgive McCain for not knowing the people we are fighting in the war in Iraq as well as having the support of Rev. Hagee who stated inflammatory comments to women and people of color. Helped keep the border open for refugees in the Balkins (From the author of the Dayton Accords).

Look, you can wish that she did not have experience. You can hope that she does not have experience. However, the truth is there for everyone to see.

Here is some documentation for you.

1. Statement from John Hume former MP MEP, founder of the SDLP and an architect of the Good Friday Agreement. He is the only person to win the Nobel Prize for Peace, the Ghandi Peace Award and the Martin Luther King Peace Prize.

After visiting refugees and gaining a first-hand assessment of the situation, the First Lady had intense talks with President Gligorov and Prime Minister Georgievski. In these talks, one in the Presidential Palace, another in the residence of the American Ambassador, Christopher Hill, Mrs. Clinton pressed the Macedonian government to fully open the border so that Kosovar Albanian refugees could flee the war zone to safety. She also committed herself to work with the government and people of Macedonia who also faced an emergency because of the threat to their own safety and stability. Hillary Clinton promised to take action to help the Macedonian economy. Returning to Washington, she pressed hard in the administration for action to support the Macedonians. She even contacted American business executives to ensure that American textile contracts in Macedonia were not canceled. There is no doubt in my mind, nor in the minds of those people I worked with in the Balkans at the time – that her intense efforts resulted in easing a crisis of significant dimensions and contributed to saving many lives.”

3. Here is some Obama experience

Today on MSNBC, top Obama foreign policy advisor Susan Rice was asked "The question is Barack Obama, what experience does Barack Obama have? To answer that 3:00 a.m. call." In response, Rice said "he has passed legislation on ethics reform which is crucial." Earlier this campaign, when Sen. Obama was asked about his foreign policy experience, he replied "You know, I majored in international relations." ["Good Morning America," 1/24/07]

4. Here is proof to counter the claim that Obama had nothing to do with NAFTA-gate in Canada and that it was Clinton who did it.

After being asked whether Canadian officials asked for - or received - any briefings from a Clinton campaign representative outlining her plans on NAFTA, a spokeswoman for the prime minister offered a response Friday.

"The answer is no, they did not," said Harper spokeswoman Sandra Buckler.

5. Here is proof of Obama's involvment (from the AP)

Goolsbee "was frank in saying that the primary campaign has been necessarily domestically focused, particularly in the Midwest, and that much of the rhetoric that may be perceived to be protectionist is more reflective of political maneuvering than policy," the memo's introduction said. "On NAFTA, Goolsbee suggested that Obama is less about fundamentally changing the agreement and more in favour of strengthening/clarifying language on labour mobility and environment and trying to establish these as more `core' principles of the agreement."

Every time someone like Paul insults the intelligence of a Clinton supporter, an undecided voter reading this blog gets to see it. From that point of view, keep talking Paul!

Carl Bernstein has documented she fought Bill on NAFTA. Dropping by to help one's spouse doesn't mean she didn't fight him on it. He was the president, he won that battle. And the controversy continues over whether Hillary Clinton, as she said again this week, had to duck sniper fire while arriving in Bosnia back in 1996.
The comedian Sinbad, who was with her on the USO tour three months after all fighting ceased and many miles away from where any fighting had gone on , has ridiculed the idea, but the Clinton camp has said he was just being funny.
Now, though, the Media Research Center has scanned the coverage at the time by reporters who were on the trip, and found no mention of any shooting.
The CBS report even showed her arriving in Bosnia smiling and walking alongside daughter Chelsea. Sen. Clinton had claimed there was no greeting ceremony and, "we just ran with our heads down."
But the network pictures showed her being greeted by the acting president of Bosnia and a group of Bosnian children.

The civil fraud trial of Bill Clinton for defrauduing Hillary’s largest donor in 2000 into giving her campaign more than $1.2 million, pending in Los Angeles courts since 2003, is now preparing for a November, 2008 trial. The discovery that is now proceeding after a February 21 hearing, and the pending trial, have NEVER been announced by the mainstream media.
Hillary was able to extricate herself as a co-defendant in the case in January, 2008 after years of appeals to be protected by the First Amendment from tort claims arising out of federal campaign solicitations she made. Her abuse of the intent of California’s anti-SLAPP law after the California Supreme Court refused to dismiss her from the case in 2004 is emblematic of her contempt for the Rule of Law.
Hillary will be called as a witness in both discovery and the trial according to the trial court Judge who so-advised Hillary’s attorney David Kendall when he dismissed Hillary as a co-defendant in 2007. A subpoena is being prepared this month and will be served personally on Hillary, along with Chelsea, Pa Gov. Ed Rendell, Al Gore and other well known political and media figures.
Yet the media has refused to report about this landmark civil fraud case- brought by Hillary’s biggest 2000 donor to her Senate race, regarding allegations that were corroborated by the Department of Justice in the criminal trial of Hillary’s finance director David Rosen in May, 2005. That indictment and trial was credited as resulting from the civil suit’s allegations by Peter Paul, the Hollywood dot com millionaire Bill Clinton convinced to donate more than $1.2 million (according to the DOJ prosecutors and the FBI) to Hillary’s Senate campaign as part of a post White House business deal with Bill.
The media - except for World Net Daily- has also suspiciously refused (consider all those who have crossed the Clintons and then mysteriously died) to report on Hillary’s last FEC report regarding her 2000 Senate campaign, filed in January 30, 2006. In a secret settlement of an FEC complaint by the plaintiff in Paul v Clinton, Peter Paul, the FEC fined Hillary’s campaign $35,000 for hiding more than $720,000 in donations from Paul, and it required Hillary’s campaign to file a 4th amended FEC report.
In that report Hillary and her campaign again hid Paul’s $1.2 million contribution to her campaign and falsely attributed $250,000 as being donated by Paul’s partner, Spider Man creator Stan Lee, who swore in a video taped deposition he never gave Hillary or her campaign any money.
Lee did testify to trading $100,000 checks with Paul to make it appear he gave $100,000 to Hillary’s campaign (admission of a felony) but none of that has been reported by the “overly critical” media!
Where is the outrage from Obama that the press is engaging in a double standard relating to his possible role in the Rezko trial and his refunding the $85,000 contributed to his campaign by Rezko- which Obama has always admitted taking. The media makes no mention of Hillary’s role as a witness in Bill’s fraud trial for defrauding Hillary’s largest donor- and Hillary’s refusal to refund the $1.2 million she illegally received from Paul, which she has denied taking from Paul ever since the Washington Post asked her about Paul and his felony convictions from the 1970’s before her first Senate election in 2000?

More detailed reports have talked to women who were at this meeting, all of whom were SHOCKED that she was saying now that she was always against it. According to those who were there this was a very hard sell by Ms. Clinton on how great NAFTA would be.

Interesting that all Hillary's claims of being firmly against NAFTA from the beginning are refuted by all those who knew and worked with her at the time, by her own White House records, by her own "biographies" in which she never makes any mention of being against NAFTA, etc.

Also interesting that the Canadian Prime Minister spoke on all the national news channels in Canada (also carried all over Europe) denouncing Clinton for claiming that Obama had contacted his office regarding NAFTA. The Prime Minister, after firing an aide for not quelsing the lie even earlier), told all the Canadian press (you can check this in ANY major Canadian Newspaper) that it was the Clinton camp and the Clinton camp ONLY that had contacted his office to assure Canada that the tough talk Hillary was making was "only talk".

Score another big ZERO for Clinton on foreign experience!

WOW I can't believe this. I heard about last night. And it's just another....imagine that...for me...when it comes to Hillary.
She said she had NOTHING to do with NAFTA! Privately didn't agree with the policy.
When she ran for the NY senate she touted the jobs she would bring to NY because of NAFTA. Her excuse now? Someone else didn't do their part, and give her a democratic senate and Presidency. Gee, its the voters fault she didn't succeed at her job, and KEEP the promises she made as a NY Senator.
When she ran for NY senate, she ran her opponent into the ground, b/c she had released her tax returns, and he hadn't!!!! She kept talking on the campaign trail in NY..."what is he hiding that he won't release his tax returns, I have done so, I have NOTHING TO HIDE!" gee...imagine that? How Hillary can twist and turn...depending on where she's at...and what SHE is trying to hide! Now, she refuses to let voters see her tax returns and Obama has done so. But she won't address the issue! And neither does the media... when voters have asked for her tax returns! But..."SOOOOO???" As Cheney said yesterday...the voters... don't matter!
She downplays her part in anything bad...just that little NAFTA thing that took away all our jobs! But that was the voters fault...not hers! It's all about GENDER BIAS...pooor hillary!
Why were things redacted? Because it was probably the same names on the donor lists for their foundation, and bills libraby! Did we really expect that her schedule would be open and honest? I certainly didn't!
She now says she left her name on the ballot in MI for all the VOTERS, b/c their votes need to count. She didn't say that back before the elction in MI. It is so easy to check now on the Web. She is lying....imagine that? She said she "didn't want the Republicans to be the only people on the ballot, the votes won't count, the election means nothing."
wow...can you beleive she would change her speech now? Can you believe she now blames Obama for MI and FLA votes not counting? Ummm...these states broke the DNC rules, she signed a LEGAL DOCUMENT agreeing with it, as did Obama. He has said he will follow the rules of the DNC, and Hillary said the same thing at the time. She didn't sign it, and then speak to the voters about how she wanted their votes to count. She could've spoken out THEN and refused to sign the LEGAL DOCUMENT. ahhh...but she didn't, she probably privately didn't agree with the policy!

Well, this does muddy the waters for Clinton if she is saying that NAFTA is totally bad. It would be adviseable to see a whole cronology of statements made by Clinton when she was first lady and senator about NAFTA.

I have to say that I think that NAFTA has been a mixed bag. There are some industries that have been helped by this; some have been hurt by this. I think that it has to be reworked no matter how many companies and industries it has helped. There need to be new guide lines for worker rights, environmental responsibilties, and some protection factors from competion from countries that are outside the three.

At the beginning of this whole race for the nomination, I thought that I would support which ever Democrat won the nomination. But now, months later, I have been so sickened by the dirty politics of Hillary Clinton that there is NO WAY that I would vote for her in November.
I think the only way she can get the nomination now is by stealing it. So far she has accomplished smearing Barack Obama so badly and dragging this out for so long it seems like it's not only Barack Obama and his supporters who are hurt, but the Democratic Party that is going to be hurt severely.
I've heard people say, "Well, in the end, we'll all come together as Democrats and support the nominee." NOT TRUE. I will NEVER support Hillary Clinton.

I would rather boycott the entire election and I'm sure I'm not the only Obama supporter who feels this way. I see no need to pretend we live in a real democracy if elections and nominations can be stolen.

One thing I find very curious is the timing of this "leak" of the Rev. Wright clips. Who "leaked" them? These were words that this man spoke 7 years ago. I also find it curious that Hillary was suspiciously quiet during the whole thing. I believe that her campaign had something to do with the timing and the "leak" as part of her nasty "kitchen sink strategy".

However, the only statement that has been confirmed by the Canadians was that HRC said: "that Ms. Clinton's campaign contacted Canadian diplomats to say her calls for renegotiating NAFTA were not serious." Listen to an Obama speech or rally, and he'll challenge you to think about a new way of thinking and ask you to DO something to bring change about. There's a fundamental difference between the two candidates. One asks you to believe in yourselves as the agent of change. The other asks you to confer power, in that person, as the change agent. The power, at this time, is in your hands.
