Every TV producer at the main morning and evening TV shows should have their picture plastered on the Internet and should have to take responsibility for the poison they have poured on the American people the past week. Wright's comments were legitimate news for the first 2 days. The fact that these producers have continued to play these tapes over and over again is toxic to our public conversation and the height of journalistic irresponsibility. They should come out from behind the camera and be called on their decision.

Are you suggesting that a Clinton would use exaggerations??? I just can't imagine it. All one has to do is go back to the Lewinsky scandal and the perjury tactics to know that this couple can put the Clinton spin on any story or statistic, as long as it presumably makes them look better than everyone else. Unfortunately for them, that's the kind of "old politics" that Barack Obama denounces in this campaign. Thank God there are still honest people left in this world.

When it comes to credibility, why is Obama held to tighter standards?
Every newscaster jumps on him if anything looks suspect. For example, saying that he obviously lied because he said that he was not in church for the most caustic of Wright's statements and later said he heard some controversial statements (failing to regognize that he did not hear the most publicized statements that are now being aired, as he was in the Southern US at the time).
Hillary's mis-statements are very questionable. She has emphasized twice how she risked life and limb to duch sniper fire on the tarmac in Bosnia -- when in truth, she was greeted without snipers but by a child bearing flowers.
Why isn't that being played 24/7 on the
networks?

The Washington Post does some resume busting on both Obama and Clinton, writing about instances where both Clinton and Obama embellished their roles in various policy fights.

When you read the story, Hillary's assertions that she was one of the biggies on SCHIP and later proved false really comes out. This foreign policy stuff she claims she helped in fooled no one either. Hillary can lie with the best of them I suppose, after all she is a politician.

Also you have to remember....
Denver missed a payment on hosting the convention....
When you figure all the left wing dailyKOS people rioting in the streets of Denver that week, it is going to cost a lot of money to keep the peace there.

In comparing Bill Richardson to Judas for endorsing another candidate, James Carvall identified the critical problem in the Democratic primary. To whom do we owe our loyalty? Is it to a politician we have had past relations with?

At a time when 4000 American service men and women have been killed in Iraq with no end in sight, when we are facing a recession, when Americans are without health care and loosing their homes, do we not have higher priorities for our loyalty?

Bill Richardson is a super delegate. Will Mr. Carvall's idea of loyalty dictate what is required of the super delegates and ultimately whether America changes course in 2008?

I wish Obama well in the next states, I hope he will be able to stay on message and that people will remain openminded in the wake of all the experts and pundits who suggest to them that their mind is already made up based on identity politics. I never mind when people vote against my candidate if they really are openminded enough to get to know my candidate. I only mind when they vote based on their ignorance (for example by listening to rumors that aren't true and then deciding). Its an important enough race that we all owe it to each other to really examine how each candidate will lead.

Hey, I voted on Feb. 5th for Obama and I am unwavering. NO buyers remorse here. The only thing that has happened is that I cannot vote for Clinton anymore. As of Feb. 5th I was willing to support her if she was the nominee. I'm not anymore.

We recently moved from McLean, VA (suburb of Washington,D.C.) to Cary, NC (suburb of Raleigh). I would like to comment on the upcoming NC primary. Just an interesting demographic tidbit we have learned since moving here is that there are a huge number of NY, NJ, and New England transplants here! So huge, that our suburb of Raleigh - Cary - has the acronym "Containment Area for Relocated Yankees" per our realtor, herself a recent transplant from NYC! Another town close by - Clayton - is known as "Cary Like Area Yankees are Trying Out Now!" Our realtor said this influx from especially NY state and also NJ and New England is also true for the Charlotte and Greensboro areas! I want to stress there is absolutely nothing wrong with this! But when I hear that Hillary is now targeting NC I can see why, as many of her former constituents are now here! Our dentist just moved here from Buffalo. Our car salesman is from Syracuse. And our neighbors are from NY, NJ, MA, and RI. NC is also the new "Florida" for many retirees from the NE. Last year NC had more people move in than any other state! It is a really lovely place! I happen to support Obama, and think he will win, but I think Hillary will have a lot of support here too!

People need to look at how Obama has handled himself over the last few weeks in spite of the conflicts thrown at him everyday by the Clinton camp. This man has remained steadfast, cool, calm and collected and carried himself with great dignity. Aren't these the types of qualities we want in our President? Haven't we had enough of the James Carvall's/Clinton spin machines of the Democratic party? I know I have. I, too, have NO buyers remorse for my support of Senator Obama and truly hope he will receive the nomination.

Democratic nomination was Hillary's to lose and she is losing it. How can anyone argue that she is more electable in Nov when she screwed up the primaries. It takes strategy and smarts to win elections... different strategies for primaries and general elections. Hillary has failed in the first test, and is now asking us to trust us with a bigger test in November. Obama is a once in a life time candidate who is winning against odds. My congressional district in Sacramento, California, voted for Obama, but our Congressperson, Doris Matsui, was quoted in our local paper saying that Clinton had called her over a year ago and asked for her endorsement, and that since she knew her and thought she'd make a good president she committed to her then and is now bound to that commitment. Over a year ago! A phone call from someone she knew!

I took months pouring over various sources of information on all the candidates to make an informed decision. I figured out, based on the number of people who voted in my district, that Matsui's superdelegate vote is worth approximately 16,000 times what my regular vote is worth.

If superdelegates override the will of the voters, they should at the very least have some darned good reasons for it, and they should explain their reasons to their constituents.

Voters of Pennsylvania, think long and hard on Senator Clinton's professed expertise on economic issues,(30,000 jobs lost in NY after she promised hundreds of thousands of jobs)! She has exaggerated her resume, and been caught red-handed at it. She helped take us into this terrible war that is enriching "special interest groups", while our innocent troops die by the thousands. We endlessly leave more, and more at the gas pump; with no end is sight for the rising cost of oil, or the fall of the dollar. She has not shown she can manage our financial futures, as she has mis-managed her camapaign finances. As blue collar people we cannot afford to turn a blind eye to these truths. Bill Richardson is backing Obama because there is no other Democratic candidate to support. Hillary has no chance, why should he support her? It makes no sense. This is probably why John Edwards is not supporting her, as she thought he would have done a month or so ago. Edwards will back Obama but at this time it would serve little purpose other than to motivate some super delegates to deal with reality.
I campaigned and voted for Bill Clinton twice! When I vote for Obama will that mean I am a back stabber?

Interesting that we're supposed to applaud Obama's "loyalty" to Wright but not be sorely disappointed with Richardson's lack of loyalty. And, talk about two-faced. On CNN this a.m., Richardson was asked about his Feb interview when he said super-delegates should reflect the will of their state. Well, Clinton won NM so why is not casting his vote for Clinton? His response was "Let's not get technical." He learned Obama-speak very quickly!

Mona in Buena Vista, I disagree that replaying the Wright tapes is a disservice to the public. It shows the kind of judgement exercised by a man that would take his innocent children to a church where it is not only acceptable for the minister to swear and make sexual movements in the pulpit but also where the minister spews HATE. Wright is very well-known in the area; people know his style, message. If Obama couldn't figure that out in 20 years, how's he going to find his desk in the White House on "day one"?

The full Rev. Wright Sermon containing the unpatriotic statements were shown on CNN Sunday.
They were explained as "Black Liberation Theology" by a member of the United Church of Christ the Trinity Church branch. The Theology is anchored in the four Gospels of the New Testament and is taught in many black churches.

If people watch the full sermon I believe the fire, sticking to Obama's wall, will be reduced.

Understanding one another is the key to moving forward in Our Country.

Senator Obama chose to package himself as the candidate of "hope and change." He has claimed, falsely, that he doesn't take money from federal lobbyists and pacs. The LA Times and the Boston Globe disagree. What Obama has done is create a network of lobbyist fundraising that is engineered by federal lobbyists who withdrew their registrations so they could knowingly help him maintain a pose of financial purity. But independent campaign finance think tanks universally agree that this is simply a pose on his part, and is not genuine. Translation: Barack Obama violates the central premise of his campaign every single day. He takes money from lobbyists and pacs and then lies to the American people about it.

Obama lied about Rezko, and continues to do so. He lied about the amount of money Rezko gave him, and he still hasn't come clean about his land deal. Allow me Chuck Todd to explain it to the people since you won't.

It goes like this. Tony Rezko has been in trouble with his creditors for years now and has been playing a vigorous shell game in an attempt to hide his assets. The land adjacent to the Obama's house was purchased on the same day as the Obama deal (this was a requirement of the sellers; both properties had to close on the same day). Is it a coincidence that Rezko and Obama closed on the same day? I think we all know the answer to that. But it wasn't Tony Rezko who bought the land. It's in his wife's name (even though she only makes a reported income of $35,000 a year). Then "Mrs. Rezko" sells a strip of the property to the Obamas for over $100,000.

According to the Chicago media, anyone associated with Rezko is well aware of his financial trouble, but the Obamas got involved anyway. They put over $100,000 in his pocket while he hides his money from his creditors who are now suing him. In most places in America what Obama did is called collusion to commit fraud. It could also be called money laundering. Obama calls it a "bone headed" move.

Then came the Canada incident. Obama lied to America saying that nobody from his campaign talked to anyone from the Canadian government. When he got busted his campaign circulated the lie that it was the Clinton campaign that made the so-called "wink wink" call about NAFTA. The Canadian government still insists that this is not true, but Obamamites are still spreading the lie.

Then we have Jeremiah Wright, the pastor of Obama's church where he has been a member for 20 years. He praises Wright in his book. Wright married him and baptized his girls. He called him a mentor, and an uncle. I would suggest that, considering his Kenyan father left him when he was two, that Wright was more like a father. He had Wright on his campaign's African American Spiritual Council (doesn't sound very unifying to me, and I'm still wondering what place a spiritual council has on a campaign for President when there is a Constitutional separation of Church and State). But when the story broke Obama lied once again.

He said that he only had a few conversations with Wright over the years, and that they were only for a couple of minutes at a time. Then he said that he hadn't heard any of the incendiary comments of Wright from the pulpit. And let us not forget Obama's limp wristed response to Wright naming Louis Farrakhan his man of the year. Now he expects us to believe that he hasn't talked to Wright much in the past year. They had at least two conversations. One was to tell him not to be at the ceremony when he announced his candidacy. The other was when Wright made it plain that Barack would have to distance himself from him. If he had taken his advice then perhaps he could have some credibility on the issue. But to say now that he hasn't been to his church much in the past year, as a way of making it seem that the influence isn't there, is so duplicitous I may puke. He took his girls to this church to hear the divisive language of Rev. Wright, but he claims that this anger is part of the past. If that's so then why expose your children to it? Why not raise them in a church whose message is unity, and the advancement of the only race; the Human Race?

With each passing day Senator Obama shows me that he is not the candidate of hope and change. He is not bringing change we can believe in. If the man cannot stand by the central premise of his campaign then why in God's name would I ever vote for him?

Hillary Clinton is no saint. But at this point, after all the exposure she got from Ken Starr (and she was never implicated in, indicted, or convicted of any crime), I'd say that what you see is what you get. You may not like what you see, and that's your choice. But at least she's not going across the country pretending to be something she's not. I have watched the Senate hearings she has convened, including the hearing on Yucca mountain, and universal healthcare back in the early 90s. She is knowledgeable, she is tough, and knows how to connect the issues. She also has strong relationships with politicians on both sides of the aisle in Congress, including John McCain.

And in spite of the Obama campaign's incessant lies about Clinton's foreign policy record, there are players from John Hume to Richard Holbrooke that have gone to the mat to make it clear that she played a vital role in Northern Ireland, and in opening the Macedonian border to Bosnian refugees. You may not wish to believe it, but those are the facts.

But let's look at electability. The super delegates are questioning the electability of only one candidate; Barack Obama. They know his ability to win in November is in serious jeopardy. These are the facts: He won't win in MI and FL because he is perceived as the man who stood in the way of the revotes. Whether you chose to accept it or not, this is their perception, and in MI it is absolutely true (the MI legislature wanted approval from both candidates and Obama refused to give it). He won't win Ohio, and chances are he will lose PA. With those 4 states alone he will lose the general election. But NJ is also in play for Republicans. And Obama won't win any of the red states he won in primaries, and in some of those states Clinton polls higher against McCain than Obama.

Clinton polls higher, and in some cases beats McCain in swing states that Obama loses. And guess what Obamamites, even Chief Obama Apologist Chuck Todd admits that if Clinton wins NC she gets the nomination. She's going to crush him in PA, WV, KY. If she wins IN which she most likely will, and can squeak by in NC (she's only one point behind) who do you think the super delegates are going to back? The one with the 527 ads of Rev. Wright who bleeds blue collar and Jewish votes because of his lies and anti-semitic backers? I don't think so (unless they are more interested in being politically correct than winning the White House).

Sorry Gov. Richardson. We're going all the way through Puerto Rico. The Obama campaign doesn't want us voting (just another reason not to vote for him). He wants to get the nomination based on his bs, not his reality. Nice try scumbag; we're not falling for it.
