perseverence is great quality but at this point she seems to know that she will loose the nomincation and her only intent is to ensure that the democrats loose in November (by lengthening the current race).

Getting Mcain elected she believes will position her for a campaign run in 2012. Interestingly if she was such an inevitable candidate and lost 2008 how can she believe she will be viable in 2012.

At this point she will go through to the end and be the democrat that destroys the democratic party for next 20 years. For me...someone who loved the clintons this is just unfortunate... and I cant get my mind around the cynical and selfish nature of their plans.

She was "sleep-deprived" at least a couple of times as she and her campaign were stonily denying Sinbad's account of the the trip and it made it into the prepared remarks circulated to journalists at least once. Is her staff sleep deprived? Or simply unwilling to question her account of things?

Wright's as "hate speech." It's short attention span theatre-- Wright's remarks, although I disagree with many of them, when taken in context, are clearly not hate speech. In fact, they condemn the cycle of violence, and Wright explicitly welcomed people of all ethnic backgrounds into the church. I'm sure Hilary Clinton is well aware of that, but the truth doesn't ever seem to impact her words or behavior.

You can make an argument for the 'choosing the church' statement, but she's attended some of these churches that have fiery rhetoric. A bigger issue is that she's using Don Imus to show how wise and sensitive she is to insensitive remarks. Hillary Clinton appeared on the Don Imus show multiple times after he had made horrible remarks on ethnicity, gender, and anything else going back a few years. It's a strange and dangerous statement considering that it's relatively easy to archive.
Sniper-gate: The more she says, the worse it gets. She was clearing wide-eyed and if she was sleep deprived...shouldn't this make us a little worried when she gets the 3 am call? Don't want us making another huge policy error.

He had conversations with Wright saying that if he got past the primary, he may have to disassociate himself from Wright for the general election, so Obama knew about Wright's extremist views. Obama also weighed in on the Don Imus remarks, calling for MSNBC to fire Imus. Words do matter, as Obama himself has often said. Obama's defense of his pastor/spiritual advisor/father figure and his comments on more than one occasion about his grandmother are good indications of his personal views on white people in general. His comment about his grandmother being a "typical white person" seems to imply that he presumes all white people to be racist or prejudice against African Americans. Rev. Wright is not just some pastor, or his former pastor, but an extremely important/influential figure in his life. Unless of course their association has all just been a political agreement to help along with his politcal career. Why have the major media outlets been unable to question Rev. Wright directly about his comments and his reaction to Obama statements about him after his speech of race? Geraldine Ferraro made herself readily available as soon as the story broke. What are Obama or Rev Wright afraid of, if all his rants (Oh sorry. Apparently that's racist)were taken out of context?
If Obama would not and did not speak up for America and the majority of Americans (white people) in church over 20 years of Rev. Wright's anti American comments, of which he now admits he had heard (similar comments), why should we believe him that he would do so now, on a much larger scale?

She didn't "reject and denounce" the Hispanic leader who said she wouldn't vote for Obama because he's black.

She played coy when Ferraro dismissed Obama as an example of affirmative action.

She uses Clintonesque parsing of words by saying Obama isn't Muslim "as far as she knows"; "I misspoke" even though she said it repeatedly; and now weigh says Wright wouldn't be her pastor even though Bill invited him to a prayer breakfast to pray for Bill after he finally admitting cheating on Hillary.

By the way, Hillary chose Bill and look what he did. Depite his sin and how he humiliated her, she stayed with him. She knows first hand what it means to have a loved one do something terrible and to love that person anyway.

She has given the country a first rate lesson on what it means to be cold and calculating. I believe she's trying to destroy Obama (and the dems) in '08 to set the table for her in 2012 - talk about Judas!

Dr. Michael Dyson are frequently on MSNBC and CNN promoting their candidates. In addition, Clinton's campaign manager, Congress Woman Shiela Jackson Lee, attends and is a member of a church where Black Liberation Theology is preached every Sunday for each of the 3 services on Sunday--Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston Texas. In addtion, Rev Wright has preached at Wheeler Ave. Baptist Church for the past 20 years. Clinton is a hypocrit and needs to clean her own house before she criticizes someone else's.

I don't get it. Why and how is Hillary so ahead in th polls there? Why do you love her so much when she clearly has no problem demolishing the Democratic party in order to secure the nomination? Why do you forgive her lies about "Experience," on which her campaign is based?

Why don't you see that Obama supports Wright's congregation -- not Wright's rhetoric -- because he has spent years supporting that poor African American community? Why don't you applaud his honesty about cultural divides and race?

I agree you do pick your pastor, but you also pick your husband. It doesn't take courage to stay with a man that cheats on you time and time again. It takes a driving need for power and decision that he will help get you there. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones and your house Hilary is fragile crystal that McCain and his clan will shatter in the election. What's this new spin on the Bosnia sniper-fire lie that she's telling to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review? "I was sleep-deprived, and I misspoke."

During which retelling was she sleep deprived? Does she not recall that she told this more than once? She seemed pretty alert and positive about it in the clips I've seen.

Does sleep deprivation cause Hillary to invent dodging bullets and running for safety with her teenage daughter? Maybe she shouldn't be up at 3am answering any phone calls if lack of sleep causes hallucinations and delusions of danger.

Obama supporters blame Hillary for destroying the Democratic party, they do not realize that it is Obama who has torn this party apart. Obama is part of the dirty politics of Chicago and is using the same dirty, personal assault tactics used in Chicago. You are all so blinded by his speeches of inspiration, you cannot see the forest through the trees, of course that is what his campaign manager David Axelrod, a man of no integrity, intends to draw in voters with lies. Republicans dragged Hillary through the mud during the 1990's superbly and still to this day even Democrats believe their lies and Axelrod just built his campaign on the same perverse slander and Democrats are not willing to forgive. It sickens me to see the vile hatred for Hillary from "fellow Democrats". It is this hatred that has torn our party apart, and Obama has not done one thing to stop this slander and hatred. Why hasn't Obama shown us how to unite? I voted for him to be my US Senator, I am still waiting for "hope and change" since 2004, it hasn't happened yet. Obama has not finished his work for his Illinois constituents and has not shown his leadership to be the leader of the Democratic party by uniting us.

If the media cannot find any situation where she actually did run from a plane under sniper fire, then the 'clear recollection of that trip' she spoke of is a bald-faced lie, not one she confused with something else. It sounded good, it enhanced her image she thought, so she said it. Another indication she's willing to say or do anything to get elected. Her scorched earth strategy will pave the way for a McCain victory, the country be damned. If she plans on riding to the rescue in 2012, she's more delusional than her Bosnia story.

Obama fanatics - apparently you unaware of your own candidate. Website after website I read ignorance and blind faith. If any of you actually followed your candidate, or watched the debates, you would know that Obama committed the biggest "mis-speak" when he STARTED the "racial tension" in S.C. by stating MLK signed the Civil Rights Bill into law - hence, the historically factual correction "it takes a President" (Bills' statement was also of fact). Not only, did he not own up to it, or transcend by defending his opponent in explaining the "root" of her "out of context" statement -was him-; he was complacent -not a leader- while race issues hijacked the election - in his favor, of course.
I highly doubt, Hillarys "mis-statement" will have the same kind of impact.
How can any of you argue that Obama not be judged by his associates or "bone-headed" judgements when obviously you judge Hillary by hers. In fact, that has been the Obama campaign basis of attack for months.
Let's see now, it seems he "mis-spoke" his financial support from Rezco, his income is higher than claimed, he claims stances- he failed to vote on,
he used stereotype to answer whether Bill was the first Black President- "we'll have to see him dance". He's continued to use sexism in subtle ways by being dismissive, using term "silly time" and has even demeaned his wife (a nurse) -in that, she wouldn't have judgement on such "important things" because she's just "a wife" and somehow attepting to compare Michelle to Hillarys'wife/first lady status while dismissing her long political history before that. He even appeared in an SNL Halloween skit that referred to Hillary as "a witch" multiple times (she did not demean him in her appearance on SNL)
He stands by Gen.McPeaks cries of "McCarthyism" while both have been seemingly silent in regard to patriatism issue during the Bush years, not to mention issues of constitutional law - his specialty.
He stands before you claiming not to be of the establishment - while his campaign and Senate years are staffed by Dascle and associates;Howard Dean internet geeks; supported by womanizer Kennedy; and by John Kerry of whom he spoke on behalf of in 2004 -then stating, "again and again, we've seen him make the tough choices when easier ones were available" in reference to Kerrys' vote FOR the war.
Again, and again Sen. Obama we see you NOT make the tough choices. Beating Hillary up for mis-stating her foreign relations experience only causes a stalement - because Obama has no record either; or did I miss the chapter from his childhood when he negotiated truces on the playground in Kenya.
The "hard truth" about people not having health care has less to do with income, than choice and irresponsibility. If a poll were taken, many, if not most, uninsured would likely answer that they have cable tv, cell phones, don't use birth control and probably don't pay their child support. I speak from my experience among the working poor- although I 'choose' health insurance and car insurance over cable tv and 'know' that my car insurance only went down when a state mandate was instituted.I am even tainted, by having sold Rev. Wright/Trinity dvds at a desperatly needed job in order to have health insurance (although, I was unknowing of the "hate speak").
If for 20 years,he was apparently accepting and complacent of the "hate speak"; and made donations of $22,500 at Rev. Wrights church whose publication also named "hate monger" Farrakhan "Man of the Year". In 20 years he was unable to influence or change the "culture" of the Black Church
or help Michelle transcend - then, how will he "change the culture of Washington"?
If Obama were in Hillarys' shoes,trailing by a mere 100 delgates - are you really so naive to believe that he 'would' step aside?
But then again, you buy into this arguement that Rev, Wright has no more influence than that "old" uncle you were embarrased of, or that it is about differences of race and culture rather than the 'tolerance of hate' that is being questioned and should be questioned- always. We do not forgive hate crimes because of their "root" or criminals because of their upbringing or cults for inspired brainwashing - and whose common denominator are words.
We are all desperate for a President that can speak English without embarasing; but we must also LISTEN to the words, no matter how pretty they sound.
To my ears, the only thing 'I am' hearing, in this questionable message of hope, from Obama and his followers - is hypocrasy and audacity!
...and stop stealing my yard signs ! Very unpatriotic!
