Clinton couldn't get someone to go down to Kinkos and photocopy her returns, so that the public could see how she could afford to loan her campaign $5 million and the $20 million payout from Yucaipa, a holding company that invests in tax shelter in the Cayman Islands.

She would have to take out another loan to cover that expense.....

Plus she has a lot to hide one would imagine if she has not released her tax records after all this time.....

We deserve to know the truth!!! If Obama is afraid of the truth then let us find out now...not after he is elected president. Everyone is under the same scrutiny, but Obama's involvement with his pastor is not just a donation or an endorsement. This is a man that HAS INFLUENCED Obama's views during his entire adult life, and especially his wife.

He won't repudiate him because he doesn't need to. He doesn't WANT to. Wright retired...so conveniently??? What would he have have done if Wright were still an active pastor? And now...who is the new pastor of the church who he will not cut ties with??? Or did he finally do that?

My vote for Obama has changed to Clinton, and if he wins the primary...I will cross the aisle and vote for McCain. My basis? Michelle Obama. Her remark about being proud to be an American for the very first time in her adult life, now makes sense. We can't use her husbands middle name??? Why hide the truth????

Frankly, I wanted change, but this change now scares me. His judgment was formed by someone that I would have run from. I'd rather see the Clinton's in the White House. At least I know exactly who would be there.

First, the burden of proof is on Obama...not the media. They are responsible to bring the core issues to light. Segments on the news are short, and they are there to open the doors, the candidates are responsible to shut them if they so choose. It is the right of the American people to know, so each and every person can decide for themselves. That's why they make up panels of all parties!

This is called politics---don't play the game if you can't handle the heat. Hillary does...why should it be any different for Obama??? Each candidate is responsible for their own issues...that is why they call them primaries, so we can get to know them. How did he intend on hiding this...until he was elected to office??? Why so secretive...defensive...shocked????

20 years is a long time compared to the 20 minutes it took you to denounce him, especially when you knew this was going to be an issue.

I feel that Obama is using the platform to deliver his speech because he can prepare his responses to carefully dance around the questions that he may otherwise be asked. By allowing him to be in his "comfort zone", he will only address that which he is comfortable with.

I think it would be fair that he be on a panel with a group of his peers. That way it will be unrehearsed, honest and forthright in attempting to satisfy the questions of the American voters. without being contrived.

I think he should at least do a Q & A from the audience and be among a diverse audience and not the "Barack Flock" in order to get a cross-section view of the public and what they really think. Otherwise we are forced to accept his attempt to finalize the issue in the event that he leaves Americans with unanswered questions. His failed attempts to date have proved that.

Anyone can give a speech and look the part...but are the Obama's who they say they are or are they cultish in trying to "create a movement" instead of running for the Presidency. What does he call HIS generation??? It's pathetic that they even have a name for it..on his website. I call it the Barack Flock.

I feel he cheated, deceived and stripped the Americans who voted for him by withholding this issue, knowing it would be offensive to some people. They can't take back their vote...additionally, current Elected Delegates should be able to change their vote if they want to.

WHY IS HE "STRONGLY" CONDEMNING THE MEDIA WHEN IT IS THEIR JOB TO BRING THESE ISSUES TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. OBVIOUSLY HE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN OPEN ABOUT THIS ON HIS OWN. HE TRIED TO HIDE THE TRUTH WHICH TOTALLY CONTRADICTS HIS MESSAGE.

THINGS THAT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED...

How he can accept the American people to believe of his disapproval while continuing to attend for 20 years if he truly disagreed.

What exactly are we to make of the use "REPEATED" in his statement about Rev. Wright's remarks that "if I heard them REPEATED I would quit".

I understand this to mean that it was acceptable the first time around...totally contradicting his attempt to believably disagree with Rev. Wright's original statements & comments.

Why he dis invited his pastor when he announced his presidency. If he was proud of his church then he should have been unashamed and dealt with these issues right away instead of choosing to hide them from the American people.

If he is truly about change and judgment then he should have been honest to himself from the beginning. Then he would not be in this position of looking to have bad judgment. Does he have the judgment to lead.

Why is he blaming Hillary Clinton for being responsible for ALL of the negative issues that have fallen on his campaign efforts. People have a right to their own opinions, and it seems to me that he undermined himself on this one. This issue is entirely of his own doing.

I believe he wants to change things, but you don't do that by changing the basis and foundation that you have claimed as your spiritual convictions. Why not make us understand right away?

He has deceived the American people... we are all judged by the company we keep, not just Obama. It is NOT about race, it is about CHARACTER!

Why is he only now repudiating the Reverend while it is convenient for him, and only after trying to suffice to those around you based on his run for president.

In today's attempt to use the media, race and Hillary Clinton is precisely why he is also being scrutinized as a candidate. Playing the "victim" of these attacks runs parallel with the Black value system that is the foundation of your morals and judgment, only without the "provocative" nuances. This is compelling evidence that OBAMA IS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING TO GET THE NOMINATION as well.

If these are his beliefs, which is established, then they should be held dear to his heart. He should not be ashamed or separate paths from Wright just because he is pressured and is only doing this in order to be nominated for President.

Wright was not just an acquaintance, he has been his Spiritual MENTOR. He knew he should have distanced himself entirely when he first decided to run, making it is fair game to assume that he supports the ministry fully. He should welcome the scrutiny and not be so defensive if he expects everyone to accept his judgment & change message.

He admits that there were things he didn't agree with and yet he stayed...probably due to Michelle.

The flag pin and not putting his hand on the heart, as the majority does especially in government made me think it is because of his faith.

The comments from Michelle Obama should be addressed as well. It is apparent that the Black value system resonates strongly in the delivery of her speaking. She is running for First Lady, is she not?
