The campaign unveiled its first TV ad of the general election, which will run, for now, only in New Mexico (5 EVs). This is a state that was carried by Gore in '00 but flipped to Bush in '04. The phrase "Stand for America" means absolutely nothing since there is no more "America" as many Americans understand it. America has been outsourced to the global community. Free trade - includes trading humans too - anyone who works for a living on the globe. McCain supports free trade. He helped destroy what protections his ancestors (and many other families) fought for. The only thing "Worth the Fighting For" by this current band of candidates seems to be the destruction of the U.S. through free trade in order to form a more perfect North American Union. To post an ad announcing a desire to "defend America" seems to be the ultimate cruelty. There is something truly evil in it. The only one who has had the courage to touch this topic is Barack. So..I'm reading about him now.
