This is a great endorsement for Obama, even though he'll still probably lose there. But at least he's trying, unlike Clinton who thought if a state was too unworthy (i.e. too small), or too black (i.e. SC -- when she sent Bill instead) she wouldn't even show up.

With Obama it's not really an empty suit, it's multiple suits. The problem with chameleon's are that regardless of the color of suit they wear today, behind the charade of colors, it's still scaly, cold blooded, calculating, clever, opportunistic, and always trying to blend into the surroundings, it's how they stay alive....

This does not sound like a new kind of politics to me, maybe I'm like the liberal pundits and latte Democrats say, about those that don't agree or see things the way they do. So maybe, I'm as blind as a bat, or blind in one eye and cannot see out of the other, or have two good eyes but still don't see... In that, I don't understand what the "New Messiah" is really saying. That indeed yes alas, I need "them" to explain it to me....yet again.

But as anyone knows, once you see the chameleon, and put a good eye on him, it's hard for the chameleon to fade back, melt into the back ground, that had so carefully gave the chameleon cover, through color.... It doesn't matter where he moves, jumps, swims, crawls, walks, or scurries. Your eyes follow, and see the chameleon for what he is.... all the gifts of camouflage that so delicately hid his image are gone.....

We see you Obama, you can't fade into the background anymore. You ultimately have to be "somebody," someone with an identity. If you can't define what that is, then it is up to others to define it for you....

Your remarkable success in this realm of "lizard politics" has also been your greatest failure, in that nobody really knows who you are, too much blending here and shading there. The blank slate that you claim you are... is there, to be colored in, because you have refused to color it yourself....

For those of us who have followed this Presidential Campaign, fairly closely, there has always been an undertone of fear, associated with the Obama campaign. All those words, words, words, especially in the beginning so lacking in substance, quasi preaching cadence.... Quotes like "we are the ones we have been waiting for." A new day, a new dawn, a new era...

folks when it comes to politics and religion there ain't nothing new under the sun.... it's all old hash. Old glitter repackaged and placed in a new box, but when one opens the box, it's just another lizard, a lizard who thought he could be king...

As far as Casey goes, it's a pleasant surprise. I wasn't too thrilled about him back in 2006, but he's proven to be a solid Senator thus far.

Hillary is good with policy and fighting to get what she wants. She is not someone who can inspire and lead the American people. She would not be a great president.

What she would be is a great Senate Majority Leader. Someone who can fight to get things done. Someone who is detailed and policy orientated. She'd have a far better chance of getting a Health Care plan and other plans pushed through as Senate Majority Leader, with Obama as President.

Obama would be better leading and inspiring the public and repairing our image around the world, Clinton would not. Clinton would be better leading the Senate getting policy passed and fighting for that policy. A VP slot would not be as powerful of a position as the Senate Majority Leader. We're better off with a VP that is a foreign relations person like Biden or Richardson.

Imagine this. Take whatever initiative you want. Health care, SS reform, etc. Imagine President Obama getting people inspired to support it, and Sen. Maj Leader Clinton fighting in the Senate to get it passed.

Best of both worlds. Maybe something will actually get done for a change with both of them in charge.

The only reason people do it is because they don't want to be perceived as being racist, and they think they'll get somethimng out of Obama later on.

If powerful donors pull the plug on contributions to these turkeys, they are through!
Hell, they didn't get us out of Iraq like they said they would if we gave them a majority, anyway.

I am all for leaving Hillary alone. There is no point in putting another Democrat down when we are facing a Republican backed by the current administration. That same administration has spent billions on this stupid war in which America was lied to.

I'm not saying McCain is an enemy, had the man changed over to the Democratic Party in 2002, like he wanted too, I feel his views would be more in-line with what this country needs. Instead, he stayed with the Republican party and his ambitions to become President superceded everything that this man use to stand up for.

Now, it's time for Americans to take back control of their country, their Liberty, and let Washington know who hired who.

But, in the end, people will be angry because their politician lost the primary and out of spite vote for the other party. Thus, we will never see the change that this country needs.

Yes, I am an Obama supporter, but if he were to loose the primary I would have no problem voting for Hillary. She has her flaws, mistakes, mis-spokes, and dirty past, but at least she's a Democrat. I really hope that for the sake of this country that no matter who wins Obama/Clinton, that their constiuates will stay true to the party so that this country can finally see an end to the Dictatorship that will have been the last 8 years.

To those who say they don't know who Obama is, I say he is perfectly clear about who he is. It's Clinton who changes each time she thinks it will get her a delegate. Yes, she's a fighter but now it seems she's more about the fight than the result. I disagree with those who say quit pounding on Hillary and Bill. Unless and until she quits the race, she is the current opposition Obama must deal with. True, he should also daily address McCain, and he does.

But Hillary needs to hear daily not just from Obama's campaign but also from rank and file Democrats that we are fed up with her Nixon-Bush style campaign tactics and her campaign's frequent pronouncements of about how the rules should be rewritten mid-season so that she can steal the nomination.

As long as she is campaigning, she will continue to do damage to Democratic hopes for the election, and that can't be ignored. She must be isolated by other Democratic leaders or she will never cease and desist the damage she is inflicting on her own party, the institution that has been the vehicle for Clinton success and wealth all these years.
One would think she and Bill would feel some gratitude at this point in their lives, but there is no evidence for it in their behaviors. On the contrary, both the Clintons and their top campaign advisors appear to have a shared mindset akin to a royal court, with many of the negative consequences that kind of organizational environment fosters.

And that's about as far as you can get from the heart and soul of the Democratic Party.

Occasionally the times pick the candidate, not the other way around. It is then up to the individual to heed the calling, or decline.

In 1992 it was clearly Mario Cuomo's time. Nobody had even heard of Bill Clinton. Cuomo didn't run.

In 2000 it was Colin Powell's time. He would have won. But he chose not to run.

Barack is very consistent in his comments regarding Pastor Wright. If you recall, when the issue became a major point of discussion a few weeks ago, Barrack stated that he was made aware of THESE inflammatory statements (as shown in the looping videos) just last year. And when asked why he continued to attend Trinity Church he stated that Pastor Wright was in the process of retiring.

So today he is stating that IF Pastor Wright had NOT retired AND IF Pastor Wright had NOT accepted responsibility for the effect his statements had on individuals, he would have felt uncomfortable at that church--implying he would perhaps have left.

The point is that Pastor Wright DID retire so there was no point in leaving the church. But if Pastor Wright had changed his mind and not retired, then Barrack would have taken a different position.

I think most people are hearing what they want to hear in these statements. And if your agenda is to find inconsistencies, then you can find that in the most consistent statements by not viewing the complete picture.

Please do a little thinking and fair comparison of statements before speaking, unless your agenda is less than honorable.

Doesn't change the fact that Casey endorsed Sen. Obama or that his endorsement is appreciated by the campaign, the senator and his supporters. Doesn't change the fact that this is yet another SD stepping forward and voicing his choice. Nobody's stopping those SD's who want Hillary as the nominee from doing the same either. If you don’t like it why not take your complaints to the Gang of 20 and see what they can do for you since they are so influential in getting their way. Maybe they can send another letter to the rest of the SD on yours and HRC's behalf so won't be disenfranchised unfairly.

I wish Bill and Hillary will drop out of the race, and stop dividing our country. Obama is the true leader. I hope, going forward, Obama stops getting sucked into Bill and Hillary's negativism and just ignores them, and focuses on the big picture -- McBush.

sway? That sway wasn't influenced by republicans... that sway was influence by this administrations lies. Bush and his cronies lured alot of people into thinking Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

I would agree with you when you say they had influence... because when they were the majority in both the house and senate, they passed regulations and gross expenditures that have led to the economic crisis we're in now.

You republicans are quick to talk about raising taxes and such... tell me this, what good is the so-called economic stimulus package that Bush says is needed to kick start our economy when a majority of that money won't go back towards our economy-- but Iraq's?

The Dem's are looking to raise taxes-- on those people that have benefited from the Bush tax breaks-- the top 3%. Unless you're one of those, and you're still a republican, you should be browsing the internet to learn about your "tax dollars" are being spent by this administration and how McCain plans to do nothing about it--because he's clueless.
