I thought the Dowd article was an interesting read. She makes some good points, I do think Obama has gotten sharper through the process. But then again, we know he has a steep learning curve.

The Hamilton endorsement seems like a great pick-up for Obama. I look forward to seeing the effect and hearing the buzz.

Cleaver is an idiot - Obama can speak, whether he's Black or White or Both. And Whites are equally qualified (as Blacks) to judge good oratory. This is exactly the type of politicking and "old school" ways that Obama is fighting against. No wonder Cleaver is on Clinton's team.

However, I agree with Cleaver that Obama's gonna win the nomination and I think his comparison of the Obama campaign to the Indianapolis Colts is apt.

Lee Hamilton knows what most of us have known for awhile. Obama provides a fesh change, a chance for unity, and a LOT of integrity. HRC would provide only divisions, NO integrity, more lies, and no progress due to sticking to old politics. I'm wondering why when Hillary got Murtha's endorsement. there was one paragrapgh, but everytime Obama gets an endorsment, it's a full page with the First Read Gang always giving Obama much more space with his endorsements. Just Curious, could MSNBC be carrying water for Obama? Hmm? Just wondering, have Obam supporters noticed this, or are you blind to the obvious bias on this website. The biggest anti-Iraq war voice in America and the most prominent congressman in PA endorses Hillary and yet, First Read gives it a paragraph. But Bob Casey, a new Senator gets two days of coverage? In response to Rochester, I believe it is the way of the media to put two pages of Bob Casey because his name is legend in PA! I think Murtha is a great endorsement but I believe Casey is HUGE! To be fair he is the kind of guy that PA folks respect. So the voters there will take a second look at Obama because of it.

I agree that Obama has made a few blunders, but Clinton has had her share. She has had a few campaign legal issues that have not been brought to the surface. Ex. Peter Paul. I do not believe that Obama's preacher was wrong for what he said just how he said it. Alot of ministers have said that Katrina happened because of sin and there was public outrage and millions attend their churches. So you may not like te candidate because of his association with someone you don't prefer but Hillary has a very strange religous connection herself. The problem is that the GOP will bring this all out in the fall on her. I don't subscribe to anyone holding a candidate responsible for what a surrogate says. He denounced the man's statements and said he remained with the church because he was retiring. If that is not enough for you ...I think nothing will ever be. African Americans have suffered alot in the last century, which still has a generation that wears those scars today. Alot of folks feel the frustration of the after shocks of slavery and mistreatment through out the years. You cannot expect that genreation to not be angry. We have come alog way in a short time, but it is a short time. I believe time heals all wounds.

Furthermore, I do not know if you have a religion, but it is not easy to throw anyone under the bus if you believe that you can speak with a person to increase their understanding. This is supposed to be a central theme to many religions. I'm not sure why this statement made by Wright is such a big deal when there is no proof that Obama was in attendance at the time. Also, his book and his life speak contrary to that. You act as if he is only African American and not White. Let us all not forget he is both. So those statements refer to his own blood as well.

If Obama is nominated McCain wins and it really is that simple which is why I still wonder how many elected Senators are dumb enough to support a loser and why. What have they been promised? If I can do the math and easily see that once the PA primary has run Clinton will likely be ahead in the popular vote and of course neither candidate will have the 2025 deligates. Do you really think Superdeligates, at least those elected like Senaotrs are going to ignor the popular vote? PA has over 4 million registered democrats and if we assume that 75% vote in the primary thats over 3 million votes. The polls show Clinton will win by 10 to 26%. If the voting is 60% Clinton and 40% Obama (I really do not think Obama can get 40% in PA) then that means Clinton picks up about 1.8 million votes to Obama maybe getting 1.2 million. There goes his lead in the popular vote which is why Obama supporters are crying for Hillary to quit. Obama is now likely to lose all state left with the poaaible exception of NC due to the black voters voting on skin color alone. Now all voters should watch to see how their own Senators and Governors and Representatives vote because if they back Obama they are intentionally trying to have the dems lose in Nov. and you should all see to it that such elected officials never get the chance to throw the general election to the republicans again. Your next President is either Hillary Clinton or John McCain so if you want a chance then call your elected leaders and tell them they will lose your vote if they back Obama now.

I decided not to vote for Hillary because I will not be dictated to about having to buy mandatory medical insurance. She quit the universal health care fight 15 years ago and now she's trying to claim her new mandatory medical insurance is the same thing. She's caved in to the medical insurance lobby, how Republican of her. She's a quitter that needs to learn when to quit her failed presidential bid.

Laura Long, above, makes a great point about Hillary's tax returns. I read something a few weeks ago on another blog that these returns they are going to release are being or have been altered or massaged in some way. Reporters should look into this. This would explain the delay in releasing them. It should have been a 20 minute process - dig out the returns from the files going back to 2000 and make copies for the press. Very strange. Will the press do its job??
