It is striking to me that the HRC campaign keeps bringing up the issue of electability with superdelegates when the fact is, the numbers seem to suggest that it is HRC who cannot even be elected since she has won fewer races, fewer delegates, and less of the popular votes. Something is wrong with someone that can't seal the deal or poll higher when they compete against someone with such high negatives. With all the breaking news about people wanting change you might want to break some news that people want experience as well. I believe this election is split down the middle, because on one hand you have two candidates that break the glass ceiling, but I believe that makes them both hated by certain groups. It is sad that some news organizations like Newsweek are trying to tie Obama to oil companies. In reality, these contributions are from individuals, not donations from the companies. I myself work for a large company, and it upsets me to think that my donations to Obama will be misrepresented by the media, and presented like a donation from my company, not me. I find it absolutely ludicrous that we do not put a cap on the amount a money a politician can raise for a campaign. 40 million in one month while people can't buy gas, are losing their homes and children are starving. What has happened to the morals of our nation when we find spending on money on this more important. Try to raise that much money to put towards or deficits, or dwindling social security funds it would never happen. Buts lets give it all to one person who may or may not win a race. I say it its time we put a cap on spending for all politicians running for president let them run with the same amount of funds not some ludicrous amount the could feed nations and let the best man or women win.

There you have it! I was on the fence until Feb 5. Hillary was supposed to have this thing wrapped up by then. She apparantly didn't get the memo from the American public about this being a change election. It is difficult for her to be a change candidate, when she is Bill's wife. I think the tax return issue is a valid point to be made, as the American public need to see where Hillary got the $5 million to loan herself, when she only makes $135k as a US senator. I am not being anti-Hillary, but she has demonstrated her inability to lead her own campaign...in vivid color. She has raised considerable (over $160 million) since this began, but yet she is broke and has only won a handful of states, and did not compete in the "less important" states. Question: Obama raised over $40 millioin in a month from almost 2.25 millioin new donors, during one of the most significant economic downturns in our nation's history. Why is this? Why are so many people, who are losing their homes to foreclosure; losing their jobs to downsizing and offshore labor and paying the highest gas prices in this country has ever seen, contributing what little disposable cash they have to this man's campaign?

Could it be that they see something in him and his ideology that is not present in either Clinton or McCain's?

Could it be that the tactics being employed by Clinton only highlight what's wrong with our country's politics and ironically, are the indirect cause of why our ecomony, energy and foreign policy situations are what they are now? Is that these people are that unsophisticated and star struck, overwhelmed by Obama's charisma and charm?

Or could it be they are tired...tired of being lied to; tired of having their intelligence insulted by insisting they can't think critically and logically reason for themselves; tired of being force-fed lies (Obama being a muslim); and substance-less distractions (a la J. Wright) and pitches in the dirt (issues like fictious 3 AM phone calls); and HRC and her surrogate's temper tantrums (a la Bill and Carville) incenuating the nomination and white house are somehow a Clinton entitlement and anyone who disagrees is disloyal and a Judas.

Maybe, just maybe those who have contributed to Obama's coffers are more intelligent than the pundits, the Clinton and McCain campaigns would have us believe. Please study these numbers, super-delegates and Congresspersons.

There are a lot of new "rookies" out there, participating in politics for the first time.
