Every candidate needs to answer the toughest questions. It was a terrific hour and Barack Obama came off as quite likeable, mature, intelligent - at times humorous. I found his answers to be responsible and well thought out.

It shocks me that anyone will do anything that the pill popping Limbaugh says to do- but that is what is happening. It happened in Texas- a specific area in Texas which usually goes to a GOP went for Clinton. It was "the limbaugh effect"
It is happening in Pa and Now in NC too!!
So if Clinton wins "big" it could be the GOP "playing" in the dem primary.
Here in NY-you cannot change your affiliation just prior to a primary.You had to be listed as a demoicrat in the last election to be included in the democrat primary. That prevents things like that idiot Limbaugh affecting a national election.

Idol with my 18 year-old daughter last night who is a high school senior. She is SO excited about voting in her first primary - and she is for Obama too! What did it for me was the Bosnian tarmac story. I just couldn't get past the fact that Hillary told this three different times. I felt if she misrepresented this, what else was she misrepresenting? We went with a surplus to the largest deficit ever! He made a deal with the pharmaceutical companies that medicare can't negotiate prices, so our taxes pay more. As far as telling us what to do, this president has done away with more of the constitution that any other president! All while the republican congress sat back and watched. The democratic congress has tried time and again to change things, (such as getting rid of the tax breaks that are given to the oil companies!) only to be outvoted or threatened by a veto from this republican president! The housing market collapsed, gas has gone up astronomically all while under this republican president's watch! And another fact you actually have wrong is that he didn't throw his preacher under the bus!!! Have you actually listened to the total speech or only the excerpts?? I have to say I agree with a lot of what he said. I don't consider it patriotic to agree with your country with everything is does, even when it is wrong. I do consider it patriotic when you care enough about your country to actually say something is wrong with it and work to change it!

And personally, I could care less if someone gives their race. Obviously, it bothers you. Maybe they were giving their race because the media keeps saying most of his support comes from African Americans! Before you spout all this stuff you should back it up with facts.

I support Obama butt I think Hillary shoud stay in and fight Obama with everything she has. This I feel actualy helps Obama to become tougher. She has helped him with tough love and has made him stronger than he was.

I know this sounds crazy, however it makes them both better to run against the GOP. I do not want her to quit, I want her to campaign until Obama steps on her throat. Kind of like we do in football when we are ahead and need to finish your opponent off!

My only beef with Obama right now is I need to know he will be able to answer that phone at 3:00 a.m. and be willing to bomb who ever. Even if it means killing women and children. Sometimes as president you have to do those things.

Mrs Clinton’s political mettle had never been tested. Her opponent in her 2000 Senate race was a lightweight and she had token opposition in 2006. Her candidacy for president was based on the assumption that she would face a weak field and again coast to victory.

Since I have been old enough to vote, I have always voted Republican because on one issue,Abortion. I went to the Kansas caucus and registered Democrat so I could support Obama. Our democracy was founded on the principle of fair elections, and anyone who knowingly attempts to subvert the process is a disgrace to this country. My family here in North Carolina has been Republican for generations, but this year I am going to break with tradition and vote for a Democrat, in no small part because of the underhanded tricks and outright cheating today's Republicans will stoop to in an effort to win.
