Obama should save some of that money for his fake patriotic promotional budget. The Community organizer and part time Senator should put more of an effort into giving the illusion that he deeply cares about America (even with all it's faults). Don't quite get why he always seems to throw in the fact that America isn't perfect. It's not, but most don't find it necessary to always point that out when they are praising their country. I wonder why Obama always seems to point out America's faults - the influence of Pastor Wright no doubt.

WHERE is the value and sensitivity of this country? How it is possible to spent millions and millions of dolares on this campain, OBAMA spending 4-1 agaisnt Clinton when teh economy and the need of this country need so much attention... it is so sick, ridiculous and stupid. just like the money that Obama, CLinton and McCain are provding for the war .

How can any of them come to me and tell me they have concern about the economy and the need of this coutnry wen their behavior and action are saying something different...?

Because America has faults Mr. Banks - we are not a perfect nation. And the sooner we acknowledge that we are not - that we have many problems that have long been unadressed - maybe we can actually solve some of them -- and get to that "perfect" place. I think Sen Obama is a realist -- and says things that we all may not like to hear -- but I would rather that than being pandered to all the time - and served pablum and lies .

I don't know where you get the part-time Senator remark from -- or why you accuse Sen Obama of being fake -- I'm willing to bet you have no actual facts to back up what you say -- just more of the same ridiculous putdowns.

The money being spent is not the problem, it is our election system. The Brits spend about two months to figure it out. And, yes, the USA is not perfect; sometimes we need to be reminded of it, but we are still the best thing going. Our transportation system sucks, it is old and fractured and oh btw dependent on oil. If any of you have traveled thru Europe like I have, will appreciate the amazingly superb system of highways, bus system and rail system in place. Fortunately, they did not succumb to the auto companies and big oil.

Wow. Aren't you ridiculous. Given the fact that Obama is only half black who says he "needs" to help out the AA race. But the thing that gets me upset with this comment is that you are making the AA community as the only people that need help or are looking for handouts. Let me make the assumption that you are a sports fan. I don't care what sport but lets say you are a basketball fan. There are quite a few NBA players who make 15mill+ a year for playing 82+ games, right? Well don't you think this is really ridiculous. I mean why should they make that much money. Thats just not right. Cleveland OH has the worst Public schools in the nation but the city was all about making new professional sporting venues. And this is happening in major cities all across our country.
My point is, if you think there needs to be a change in agenda maybe you should make a change in your own life. Maybe write your state senator or governor. Make your voice heard rather than whining because your candidate can't compete financially.

The American people are making their voices heard by volunteering and giving resources to his campaign. I yes, I do agree 300K a day is ridiculous, but I know he has a agenda for the American people when he becomes president. I can't say the same for the rest of the candidates.

Absolutely I agree, TAMPA. I traveled to Guatemala as a photo journalist for a not-for-profit and was given kisses and hugs by the locals. I've been to England, France and Italy in '04 and '06 and though we have it better overall here in Missouri, USA, we are seriously addicted to our cars and oil and are missing the boat on public transit and universal health coverage. I think Obama's time over seas is what has given him a broader world view and therefore a perspective missing in people who have never left their home town.

Luke Ravenstahl's endorsement of Hillary is strange, given the middle to lower class status of his constituents. Barack is fighting for an increase of the minimum wage. As a Pittsburgher, I'm keeping notes on him, and Rendell.

jh, i don't even know why i'm bothering to respond to this "outspending her 4 to 1" as scandalous, the irony appears to be lost on you that before all the teeny patriotic over-looked Americans sent in their $10s and $20s in order that their candidate could level the playing field and education the voters all the pundits were saying the Clintons, their owning the party machine, and their fundraising machine were unstoppable.

Now poor Clinton supporters are whining they are outspent, and even Chuck Todd deprecated Obama catching up in the polls that it would have indicated instead there was something very wrong if he couldn't with all the money that has been spent. Notably not that the net result of the money being spent so that people get to know him and what he stands for and to do an unprecedented voter registration drive that is aimed at getting all voters registered and voting whether democrat, independent or republican.

If nothing else Obama has given a great gift of service to our country and what it stands for by reinvolving, and newly involving the citizen vote, which is what all the lipservice given to our invasion of Iraq has been supposed to provide in that country while we were losing it here.

If our beloved country founded on principles of democracy is to survive or even flourish we need to reverse the trend of apathy and get a new generation of citizens involved in voting. Of course in this we have seen there is also peril if there is a perceived unjust robbing of another election by ignoring the delegates and popular vote. With great passion and involvement is the risk of great disappointment.

Jim Banks - You are almost right. America is almost perfect. There are two little things we have to fix, in case you forgot. We seem to be in the middle of a war that the people don't want and we can't figure how to get out of it. Then we have a political situation where the unpopular candidate (good old dishonest, untrustworthy, and even disliked Hillary) has the money and the connections to attempt to overturn the will of the people.

So I essentially agree with you. If we can get out of Iraq and somehow convince Hillary to leave (the country ideally), this would be a pretty nice place.

The Rev.Wright is not a Retired Marine he was in only two years. And just because he was a marine doesn't mean he can't be anti-american, because he is and a bigot on top of that. Obama hasn't shown that he cares about this great country, All I see is him not being able to form a complete statement when ask a real question, so most of the news people feel sorry for him and ask him easy questions and then stare in amasement at what he says, and he says nothing but change and we don't know what change and hope but not what hope means to him.

The American people contributed to Obama's campaign so that he can be elected. So why is it a suprise that he is actually using campaign contributions for the intended purpose?

Moreover, Obama is running against the Clinton machine which has been known for almost 2 decades.
