Every day, it becomes more difficult to blame George Bush, Dick Cheney and comrades for their seven years (and counting) of crimes, corruption and destruction of our political values. Think about it this way: if you were a high government official and watched as -- all in a couple of weeks time -- it is revealed, right out in the open, that you suspended the Fourth Amendment, authorized torture, proclaimed yourself empowered to break the law, and sent the nation's top law enforcement officer to lie blatantly about how and why the 9/11 attacks happened so that you could acquire still more unchecked spying power and get rid of lawsuits that would expose what you did, and the political press in this country basically ignored all of that and blathered on about Obama's bowling score and how he eats chocolate, Fact checking Clinton's stump speech and what was said on Saturday Night Live last night,wouldn't you also conclude that you could do anything you want, without limits, and know there will be no consequences? What would be the incentive to stop doing all of that? When are all of you so-called Democrats gonna wake up and stop this childish back and forth name calling and focus on what is happening RIGHT NOW in America and what we can do to stop it because it really doesnt matter who the Democratic nominee is if this administration has done what it wants to do before they are gone. Just like the folks in Memphis last week. The guy actually shook his finger at the people he was apologizing to. Those closest to him were offering him mercy, and their forgivness.

Later Brian Williams interviewed McCain about how far we've come on the issue of race in America. McCain remarked about how far we still have to go, yet all the while winking, and blinking about 20 times through one or two sentences. That is a tell tale sign of insincerity.

The very idea of another Republican president and any posibility of a Republican house or senate is repugnant to me. They have done nothing to ivigorate business in the USA although that is their battle cry. They have stuffed the pockets of the rich who have continued to invest in other countries. They have weakened our ability to negotiate with anyone because they don't know how to negotiate except to say "do it our way". They have only the interest of individual wealth and property and not the interest of the common good of all. They have only the interest of private education rather than the education of the greatest part of the american youth and have let public education all by the wayside. They have not moved one bit from the industrial revolution idea that the rich owners have all the ideas and rights and the workers need to get as little as possible for the wealth that their work creates in the pockets of the rich. They have completely lost their way in the protection of individual rights for all and have limited that protection to the few. This party has promoted ideas of trickle down economy for ages and it has never offered a long-term advance because it will not work in the new reality of the world. The great rise of more money in the hands of fewer people has been its result. They think of the world as it was 50+ years ago and not as it is. They wish to somehow isolate the USA from the world when it means they cannot control the world by dictum and that day has long since ended. Any American who votes for John McCain simply votes for our continued slide into a nation with much less voice, much less real wealth that is shared by all the citizens, a national infrastructure, energy structure, education structure that is stuck in a world that exists only in their minds. If there every was a time for Democrats and all Americans to rise up and say "NO MORE" it is now. Barack and Hillary are not perfect. No candidate ever is. I saw an interview with Jesse Ventura the other day. What a farce that the press even gives him a voice. He has the same old song: that he knows that none of the candidates are good. That is the same man who won on that refrain and made a mess of his own government. Both Barack and Hillary have the will, the ability, and the desire to look anew at how things are done and the directions we must take. Some of that is legitimate, but the deals for Khazakstan and Colombia, and backroom donations to Clinton Library and foundation just stink to high heaven.

And yet, bringing all that up still changes some/most Democrats opinions on the Clintons very little. I still hear how much they'll help us/you/me. They want to help the little guy, give me (I'm sorry, MANDATE that I buy) Universal health care, free/more education opportunities, and etc etc etc... I promise to give each American, free, a check for 10,000 , does this mean you will now vote for me for Pres? Here CLinton ...and McCain/Obama, what exactly have you done while in Washington to address the needs of Americans as a whole ? what are you doing right now, to reduce my gas costs (record 3.25 per gallon for me), or high insurance (about to make my home note go up 75.00 a month)?

The recent Petreaus/Crocker testomony may give President Bush the needed excuse to launch attacks on the Iranian CUDS special forces. This must not be allowed to happen.

VOTER REGISTRATION SUPPRESSION SCANDAL, PHILADELPHIA, PA VOTER ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

I am an US citizen and have received information from a creditable source. I have gain information that in Philadelphia, PA., in the neighborhoods of Germantown, Logan, and Nicetown, Voter Registration Suppression has taken place. This has been conducted by the state of Pennsylvania voting Administration. The neighorhoods of Philadelphia mention above are voting districts that heavily favors Obama.

One of the Voter Registration Suppression Scandal is that the Pennsylvania voting Administration is sending potential voters in these area forms that state that their social security numbers do not match their names.
Therefore, these voters will not be allowed to vote in the upcoming April 22, 2008 Democratic Presidential Primary contest. But are told on the forms they can respond to the information and maybe have a chance to vote in November in the General Presidential contest, not the primary. There are other voter registation suppression scandals, too. The above one I list for you. Check into the others as well.

I feel that possibly the Clinton campaign and/or McCain campaigns might be involved in this scandal of the state of Pennsylvania illegal voting suppression. I feel that the Clinton campaign is more likely to be involved for sure. They have a lot to gain from this scandal not being discovered. But again, the Clinton or McCain campaigns might not be involved at all. It could be an independent group in the Pennsylvania Voting Administration office. I have been told this unlawful practice has also occurred in the earlier Ohio primary without being reported. I am reporting the Pennsylvania scandal here and with many other top new groups. Many of the people being disenfranchised have valid passports, work jobs, even for the government, so their social security numbers are valid. Corruption is taken root from the state of Pennsylvania. It can not be allowed. People desire to vote and have their voices heard. This cover-up scandal must not be stand for.

This scandal is presently going on and illegally disenfranchising many from the opportunity to cast their vote in the upcoming primary. This criminal incident must be investigated immediately and reported to the public. Also, corrected action must be taken here.

Do these people really think a politician talking to a microphone is a conversation? I thought a conversation was a two-directional thing.

Well I guess if he's fielding questions from reporters, and if you're willing to buy off on the notion of reporters rather than congressman representing the American people, it is sort of a conversation.

At any rate, if McCain were to win the general election, hopefully he would have Lieberman or some other former Democrat standing behind him to whisper answers to the questions.

See, that's what was wrong with the Bush Administration. President Bush didn't have the benefit of a former Democrat helping him with foreign policy and national security.
