But, Jimmy Carter's endorsement of ANYONE is more of a liability, than it is an asset.
Between his ill advised trip to Cuba and meetings with the Castro Government, and this planned trip to meet with HAMAS leadership, Carter is cementing his Presidential image as that of a "weak sister" who placates and gives in to terrorists.
Perhaps this is why Obama says he'll negotiate unconditionally with communists and terrorist thugs.

MSNBC needs to do investigative reporting on the Obama-Syrian born Antoin Rezko-AUCHI connection. Also, ask Obama's campaign manager David Axelrod his connecton to Rezko and Auchi. Also ask Obama supporter David Wilhelm (who is named in Rezko's criminal trial currently underway in Chicago) about his connection to Rezko and Auchi.

The voters have a right to know all about the Barack Hussein Obama (it's his name people) Auchi (who is also currently under criminal indictment) and Odinga connections. There is still much to learn about Obama.

Any ONE of these revelations would be enough to sink Obama, but combined they are lethal. Obama is simply too risky for the Dems to nominate.

Why do you think the corporate owned media relentlessly promotes Obama 24/7 while attacking Hillary 24/7? They know he's unelectable.

Hillary Clinton has already proven she can win big in the big electoral rich states that are the must wins for the Dems in November. If you can't win in states like Ohio, you cannot win the Presidency. In Ohio, Obama outspent Hillary 4 to 1 yet he won only 5 out of 88 counties, those with large black voter turnout for him, the only voter group he won.

The whole point of diplomacy is to be able to talk to those who oppose you - so that differences can be settled over a table instead of overhead, with missiles whistling by each other.

Carter is not an agent of the federal government. He can go where he wants, when he wants, and talk with whomever he wants. If he meets with Hamas, so what? He's not a government functionary.

Perhaps someone like Carter might be able to do in Palestine what George Mitchell did in Northern Ireland. Lord knows none of the politicians in power now have any credibility in the Middle East. Carter's traveled the world as a respected humanitarian since leaving office.

As for Carter causing Obama problems - if people are willing to give HRC a pass for her husband being PAID to lobby for a trade agreement with Colombia just because she says she's opposed, then I fail to understand Obama having a problem because someone who hasn't even endorsed him takes an unpaid foreign meeting.

I remember some very nasty posts on here when Geraldine Ferraro made a comment that Obama would not be this far along if he were a white man, which IS TRUE whether people like how it sounds. Say Barrack was a young white man full of good speaches and promises, he wouldn't have 80% of the black vote and Hillary would have already put this nomination to bed. Blacks would have voted for Hillary because for the most part they loved the Clinton's until they had a chance to vote for a black man so it can prove something about this society. The majority of Americans aren't biased against blacks. Blacks segregate themselves a lot in this society because they still hold all whites accountable for things some whites did many years ago. I will never know what it's like to be a black person. No more than any black person knows what it's like to be born asian or hispanic. We all have roles people see us in based on our color and gender but I'm disappointed that so many people have chosen a candidate BECAUSE he is black. Either candidate running is going to have a higher standard of excellence than ANY or President that has come before them. No one will ever be the perfect President for every American but I do think it is in our country's best interest to judge each candidate based upon what they've DONE and not what they say they will do. Every candidate makes promises. For all of you who keep saying Obama would meet with our "enemies", Obama would meet with terrorists, Obama would meet with Hamas, please look up your facts...this is getting tiresome. Obama said he would meet with heads of state, not terrorists. He also specifically said he would not meet with Hamas. Meeting with heads of states even of...especially of...countries that are not our "friends" seems like a good idea to me. What we have been doing with embargos, sanctions and silence for years and years has certainly not been working, so why keep doing it? I mean, look how 50 years of embargos on Cuba, for example, brought about real change in that country...not. All it brought was hardship and poverty to the civilians; not a good way to make people like us and, perhaps, quell some anti-American sentiment that could boil into terrorism, now is it. Who cares what Carter does...he is not a representative of Obama's campaign. The double standard here is ridiculous (also...people, please look up the spelling of this word rid--not red)...Bill, I would assume, is much closer to Hillary than Carter is to Obama, yet it is ok for him to have a position (Columbia trade) that is 180 degrees from hers?
