McCain has admitted on several different occassions that he does not understand economics. McCain's so-called economic plan amounts to continuing Bush's failed economic policies of the past eight years. We need a President who has a good understanding of the economy, can present plans to reduce the deficit, reduce America's debt to foreign nations like China, and get America back to economic independence and prosperity. This person is NOT John McCain!!!!!

McCain is drooling to drag American into another endless war with Iran! I cannot believe that any American, conservative or otherwise, can be fooled by this mess. Simply put: AMERICA CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER ENDLESS WAR!!! Iraq is a mess and has cost this country dearly in lost American lives, lost dollars, and lost clout with the International Community. Admittedly, Iran's President and leaders are not saints by any stretch of the imagination, but unless Iran poses a clear and immediate threat to America's well-being, then any talk of war should be out of the question. Fix Iraq first and fix our domestic issues also, then we can worry about Iran.

Perhaps Cindy has not had the time to cook and needed something right away to prove that she knows how to cook.
Seems like recipegate is something the republicans continue to repeat, didn't Nancy Raygun have a recipe problem?
A favorite family crabmeat recipe looked too elitist and they changed it to macaroni and cheese to look more everyday.
Being out of touch with average americans seems to be a problem the republicans continue to have.
The economy is souring for everyone and tax cuts for the rich are again their only solution, no more trickle down, more solutions for working class and lets just stop giving recipes to show you are just another average american.
I don't care what they like to eat, I want to know what kind of underwear the candidate wears and does he shower everyday, does Cindy clean the house on her own, what cleaning products does she use?
And the most important issue, what reality shows do the McCains watch?
Vote Democrat and Give the McCains more time to play house together.

I see that descrimination against older Americans is allowed here. What about descrimination against women? Or African-Americans? I seriously doubt that that would be allowed. Old people jokes are tolerated here because the Republican candidate is the target. If the Democrat candidate were the target the comments would not be posted, even if it were "old people" jokes. McCain didn't say how he's going to pay for his hundred-year occupation of Iraq and the new wars he wants to start. Someone should ask him if he's going to continue relying on foreign countries like Communist China to finance his wars, and what he's going to do when the foreign governments want to collect on what's owed them. It seems that the corporate media is too busy bashing Obama to worry about minor little financial quibbles like that.

It is to laugh!

Between Senator Clinton doing the whiskey (Canadian) and beer chaser and making an absolute caricature of herself in the process and now Cindy McCain's "traditional" family recipes (passed from generation to generation...er...IP address to IP address) it's hysterical the way these women are completely stumbling over themselves trying to look like ordinary people.

It's like you can hear Senator Clinton going, "Whiskey, eh? Oh, Crown Royal, I've heard of that! I'll have some of that!"

As for Cindy McCain, how much cooking do you think "Barbie" the heiress to a Hensley & Company actually does?

I'm staying out of this one. McCain seems a charitable and respectable individual and he did lay off the personal stuff agains Hill and Barack on hardball so I think he should be addressed on issues and issues alone. Yes Cindy's gaffe is a personal thing but she never was promoted as an intelletual asset so it is not important to my decision.

The gas tax thing is obviously dead words as they are spoken (considering the effect is about $2 on my full $40 tank and it takes away money used for road construction and so will represent job cuts unless the money is drawn from somewhere else). I'd rather keep my job and my house, have a better energy policy where we do not spend in Iraq while they keep their oil revenues, stop fighting wars whose motives have been debunked etc. and I will gain more than I would with this symbolic gas tax cut.

But McCain is still a class act and it seems fun how he matches Barrack gesture for gesture in the gentlemanly campaign area (Barrack shot down questions yesterday querying whether Hill was being racist in the elite remark and he flatly would have non of it instead calling it just politics). Yes McCain is still things the old way, continuation of the past 8 years with soome trivial changes and is wrong for the country. He should be honored but not with the presidency where things will continue same as before.

The state of Indiana suspended the sales tax on gas a couple years ago for the summer months - didn't really have an impact. For information purposes, Indiana has a the a 18 cent per gallon state gas tax in addition to the sales tax charge and the federal tax - woohoo!

And our April surprise - an additional increase in the sales tax to 7%.

I just want to know who's pocket all the various tax money goes into, because I sure do not see much in the way of results. Pot holes in roads, bridge collapses, poor graduation (50 - 60%), plant closures, increasing state and federal debt, home foreclosures on primary residence - but second homes can be renegotiated in bankruptcy court (I guess you need to own two). I guess this makes me a bitter person, because it galls me. Check the definition of galls, it fits.
