The 45,000-member Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association timed its announcement for Clinton’s speech Wednesday before the AFL-CIO’s Building Trades National Legislative Conference.

Union President Pat Finley said in a statement that Clinton has the ability to turn around the economy and rebuild the middle class.

Why is Charlie Cook "stumping" for a candidate? I thought the "Cook Report" was nonpartisan ... guess not.
Cook's prediction of last year would have been more remarkable if he had picked Obama and McCain as the presumptive candidates. Hilary's poll numbers were so astronomical last year that "predicting" her was a no-brainer. And, as a person of color ... I don't quite agree with Charlie Cook, but the statement from Hillary on McCain's Economic Speech. If she would have been hitting the Republicans the way she has been trying to go after Obama she might have been ahead in this race. I started this election cycle expecting to Vote for Hillary. I am now an Obama Supporter. The way Hillary has ran her campaign has left a "bitter" taste. Here is one of the things that people forget more than anything. The president is a manager, and a good manager is someone that is not afraid to put good people around him/her. The way she has destroyed her credibility and mis-managed her campaign, disturbs me. At one point I thought that McCain would be one of the few republican that I would vote for, but the speeches and press release from his campaign, makes me question if McCain is the Maverick they say he is. I feel Obama gives us the best chance to make a difference in Washington out of the Three canidates that we have, but this is Washington we are talking about, and there are no Gurantee's. Since I have been able to vote I have gone to every vote. This is the first one that makes me want to just sit it out. God Help us all.

The article states that basically, unless Obama screws up every week for the next four or five weeks, Hillary cannot win. He now comments that the race is very close.
