(nothing against gays and lesbians, but HRC's "umbrella" is waaaaaaaaaay more relevant to this election.

I even heard Tim Russert and Chuck comment today about why it hasn't gotten any attention, and CHuck said that the Media would rather focus on "shiny objects".

I kind of find that insulting. We are talking about the President of the United States. HRC attacking any country in the world that attacks Iran is VERY troubling to me.

Anyone else think that this is important, or am I just "out of touch"?

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

Are they being outspent, or are they no longer able to raise enough money for their campaign?

What would they be doing if they had the money?
Clinton Pennsylvania spin

Good God, Let Clinton just go away.

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

Either the internal polls or taking or they are setting us up to make a 5 point win seem like a landslide . . . can't wait until Tuesday!

Obama '08

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

E. Everyone knows this was supposed to be a blowout. After 30 years of name recognition and "love" in PA, Hillary ought to win it like Obama's gonna win NC. But for some reason, people are turning on her. Obama's money has been well spent, eating up that giant delegate grab Hillary was supposed to make in PA. His spending has helped make up for all that love and name recognition that Clinton had on him. But when it comes down to it, you can't buy votes (which must come as some surprise to certain people). I suppose that the millions who will vote for Obama in PA will also become Clinton's enemies, as have all the people who have failed to support her so far. How does that make you feel, PA? That at least half of you are non-persons as far as Hillary is concerned? Not too good, I imagine. But it's no one's fault but her own. Obama has already beaten her in PA, even if he doesn't win.

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

Just quit HillyBillary. Obama has to spend 3-to-1 just to educate PA voters about himself and his positions. The task is made even more difficult in large states.

Obama's job in PA is to keep it in single digits against Hillary. That still keeps Hillary's delegate margin very low.

As for Hillary, if they say they think it's a 3-4 point game, assume the Clinton campaign really feels she's going to win by 6-8. THEY THINK THAT WITH THE ECONOMY AND THE INTERNATIONAL CRISIS IN THE SHAPE THAT IT IS IN, COMBINED WITH HIS AGE---THAT HE WILL BE AN EASY TARGET COME NOV. THUS THEY FEEL WITH SENATOR OBAMA’S APPEAL TO THE YOUNGER VOTER AND THE AFRICAN AMERICAN VOTER, THE DEMOCRATIC S HAVE A TREMENDOUS CHANCE OF TAKING THE WHITE HOUSE IN 08. I BELIEVE, THERE REASONING IS FLAWED…FIRST, LIKE IT OR NOT, THE REPUBLICANS WILL RALLY BEHIND SENATOR MCCAIN, EVEN WITH MIS-GIVING’S. SECOND, THOUGH IT MAY “APPEAR” THAT THE REPUBLICANS DON’T CARE IF THEY LOOSE THE WHITE HOUSE IN 08, DON’T BET THE FARM ON IT….I DON’T DOUBT FOR A MOMENT THAT THERE ARE SO VERY MANY SECRETS, SECRET DEALS AND HAPPENINGS THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE OVER THE PAST 8 YEARS….UNKNOWN TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, AND THE REPUBLICANS ARE IN NO WAY GOING TO RISK THESE BEING EXPOSED. SENATOR MCCAIN, KNOWS GOING INTO THIS, AS DOES THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, THAT HE, IF ELECTED WILL SERVE A ONE YEAR TERM, SIMPLY BECAUSE OF HIS AGE IF NOTHING ELSE. THUS A STRONG, APPEALING VICE-PRESIDENTIAL RUNNING MATE WILL ALLOW THE PARTY TO POSITION ITSELF FOR THE 0-12 ELECTIONS. FOLKS, YOU HAVE SEEN IN THE PAST HOW THE REPUBLICANS WIN ELECTIONS…THIS SCENARIO IS NOT UNREALISTIC. IN ORDER FOR SENATOR OBAMA TO BEAT SENATOR MCCAIN, HE WILL NOT ONLY NEED ALL HIS EXISTING SUPPORT, BUT THE SUPPORT OF ALL OF SENATOR CLINTONS FOLKS, ALONG WITH A MAJORITY OF THE SO-CALLED REAGAN DEMOCRATS AND INDEPENDENTS….A MIGHTY TASK TO ASSUME. I SAY THIS NOT BECAUSE I AM AGAINST SENATOR OBAMA, I SAY THIS BECAUSE I BELIEVE THIS IS THE REPUBLICAN GAME-PLAN. WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, SENATOR OBAMA IS INTELLIGENT, ABLE, AND SINCERE….BUT HE BRINGS THE REV WRIGHT ALONG WITH HIM, AND THE “ILL-PLACED” COMMENT OF HIS WIFE ABOUT “FINALLY BEING PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN” AND THE REPUBLICANS WILL POUND HIM TO DEATH ON THIS ISSUE AND OTHER ISSUES. PLUS THE FACT THAT HIS RESUME’ IS SHORT ON EXPERIENCE. WHILE SENATOR CLINTON HAS HER FAULTS, SHE HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO THE REPUBLICAN ATTACK MACHINE MOST ALL HER LIFE AND I BELIEVE SHE IS IN A BETTER POSITION TO HANDLE THE ONSLAUGHT OF THE ENTIRE REPUBLICAN PARTY COME NOVEMBER…

SO AS JACK CAFFERTY WOULD SAY....WHAT ARE SENATOR OBAMA'S SUPPORTERS GOING TO SAY OR FEEL, SHOULD HE WIN THE NOMINATION BUT LOSE THE GENERAL ELECTION? AT ONE POINT IN TIME, THE REPUBLICAN PARTY LOOKED FORWATRD TO A CLINTION SHOWDOWN COME NOVEMBER-------NOW ---THEY PRAY FOR SENATOR OBAMA. FOLKS WAKE-UP, WITH ALL DIE RESPECT SENATOR OBAMA WILL NOT WIN BACK THE WHITE HOUSE, IF YOU WANT A DEMOCRAT A PRESIDENT COME 08, YOU'D BEST PUT ASIDE YOUR PERSONAL DISLIKE OF SENATOR CLINTON AND SUPPORT HER NOMINATION. I DO NOT SAY THIS SOLELY AS A SUPPORTER OF HERS, I SAY THIS WITH A INNER GUT FEELING, THAT SHE IS OUR ONLY CHANCE TO WIN, PLEASE CONSIDER THIS WHEN YOU VOTE.

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

Hillary is supposed to win PA. On top of that the state's demographics favor her immensely.

If she does not win this state by at least 10 points she should step away from the race.

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

janie doe, I so agree with you re: "outspending".

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

Sick of sleaze. This was about the working class white voters who did not support Bill Clinton. Her comment then was - Screw them Bill - you don't owe them a thing. They are doing nothing for you - you don't have to do a thing for them. I guess things don't change for the Clintons. They’re doing nothing for you; you don’t have to do anything for them.”

The 1995 Hillary “screw ‘em” Clinton quote, is a more than apt representation of her character. Hillary’s history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther, and goes much deeper than anyone realizes. Particularly telling, is the fact that Leon Panetta was even present during Hillary's "screw 'em" admonition. Hillary has treated and continues to treat all working class Americans as a species apart, and screw them she did: http://theseedsof9-11.com

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

Double digits or take a hike. For weeks we had to listen to Senator Clinton tell us how she was going to wipe Obama out big time in PA. Now it's time to put up or shut up. Remember, PA was supposed to be just like her great lead in Florida that she insists was fair because she had such a big lead in the non viable election there. She always starts out big because of name recognition and because people liked Bill, but it always gets a whole lot closer. Florida would have too if Obama had intensively campaigned there. You can't have it both ways Hill. Show your giant lead in PA or quit fussing that you would have won FL by the same margins if Obama had campaigned there. It turns out that Obama won Texas after all. Also, recall that about five days before Ohio primary, the polls were tight. Then that lucky story out of Canada that Obama's campaign gave the Canadians a wink on NAFTA and you rode that pony hard to win by a 10 point lead. Now today, major networks report that it was indeed your own MI co-chair, Blanchard, who had the chat with the Canadians about NAFTA. You stood there in all your mock rage accusing Obama of what you knew your side had done and you stole a state election with it. I wonder what Ohio thinks of you now Hill? Obama supporters give him more money to work with, but you had the entire PA democratic political machine on your side with the exception on one. Ed Rendell pulled every string he had for you. If you can't win with all that P.R. and news coverage and political clout by at least double digits, then you got a big problem because you said this was your state ad nauseum.

Clinton Pennsylvania spin

Clinton says it won't count if she doesn't win big because Obama supporters donate more to him. Clinton has had the full force of the entire PA democratic political machine behind her. Governor Ed Rendell has pulled every string he has for her. Obama had one Senator helping him in PA. If she can't win by double digits in what she has claimed for weeks as her state with the whole machine behind her, that's a big problem. You claimed it.
