THEY THINK THAT WITH THE ECONOMY AND THE INTERNATIONAL CRISIS IN THE SHAPE THAT IT IS IN, COMBINED WITH HIS AGE---THAT HE WILL BE AN EASY TARGET COME NOV. THUS THEY FEEL WITH SENATOR OBAMA’S APPEAL TO THE YOUNGER VOTER AND THE AFRICAN AMERICAN VOTER, THE DEMOCRATIC S HAVE A TREMENDOUS CHANCE OF TAKING THE WHITE HOUSE IN 08. I BELIEVE, THERE REASONING IS FLAWED…FIRST, LIKE IT OR NOT, THE REPUBLICANS WILL RALLY BEHIND SENATOR MCCAIN, EVEN WITH MIS-GIVING’S. SECOND, THOUGH IT MAY “APPEAR” THAT THE REPUBLICANS DON’T CARE IF THEY LOOSE THE WHITE HOUSE IN 08, DON’T BET THE FARM ON IT….I DON’T DOUBT FOR A MOMENT THAT THERE ARE SO VERY MANY SECRETS, SECRET DEALS AND HAPPENINGS THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE OVER THE PAST 8 YEARS….UNKNOWN TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, AND THE REPUBLICANS ARE IN NO WAY GOING TO RISK THESE BEING EXPOSED. SENATOR MCCAIN, KNOWS GOING INTO THIS, AS DOES THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, THAT HE, IF ELECTED WILL SERVE A ONE YEAR TERM, SIMPLY BECAUSE OF HIS AGE IF NOTHING ELSE. THUS A STRONG, APPEALING VICE-PRESIDENTIAL RUNNING MATE WILL ALLOW THE PARTY TO POSITION ITSELF FOR THE 0-12 ELECTIONS. FOLKS, YOU HAVE SEEN IN THE PAST HOW THE REPUBLICANS WIN ELECTIONS…THIS SCENARIO IS NOT UNREALISTIC. IN ORDER FOR SENATOR OBAMA TO BEAT SENATOR MCCAIN, HE WILL NOT ONLY NEED ALL HIS EXISTING SUPPORT, BUT THE SUPPORT OF ALL OF SENATOR CLINTONS FOLKS, ALONG WITH A MAJORITY OF THE SO-CALLED REAGAN DEMOCRATS AND INDEPENDENTS….A MIGHTY TASK TO ASSUME. I SAY THIS NOT BECAUSE I AM AGAINST SENATOR OBAMA, I SAY THIS BECAUSE I BELIEVE THIS IS THE REPUBLICAN GAME-PLAN. WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, SENATOR OBAMA IS INTELLIGENT, ABLE, AND SINCERE….BUT HE BRINGS THE REV WRIGHT ALONG WITH HIM, AND THE “ILL-PLACED” COMMENT OF HIS WIFE ABOUT “FINALLY BEING PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN” AND THE REPUBLICANS WILL POUND HIM TO DEATH ON THIS ISSUE AND OTHER ISSUES. PLUS THE FACT THAT HIS RESUME’ IS SHORT ON EXPERIENCE. WHILE SENATOR CLINTON HAS HER FAULTS, SHE HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO THE REPUBLICAN ATTACK MACHINE MOST ALL HER LIFE AND I BELIEVE SHE IS IN A BETTER POSITION TO HANDLE THE ONSLAUGHT OF THE ENTIRE REPUBLICAN PARTY COME NOVEMBER… SO AS JACK CAFFERTY WOULD SAY....WHAT ARE SENATOR OBAMA'S SUPPORTERS GOING TO SAY OR FEEL, SHOULD HE WIN THE NOMINATION BUT LOSE THE GENERAL ELECTION? AT ONE POINT IN TIME, THE REPUBLICAN PARTY LOOKED FORWARD TO A CLINTON SHOWDOWN COME NOVEMBER-------NOW ---THEY PRAY FOR SENATOR OBAMA. FOLKS WAKE-UP, WITH ALL DIE RESPECT SENATOR OBAMA WILL NOT WIN BACK THE WHITE HOUSE, IF YOU WANT A DEMOCRAT A PRESIDENT COME 08, YOU'D BEST PUT ASIDE YOUR PERSONAL DISLIKE OF SENATOR CLINTON AND SUPPORT HER NOMINATION. I DO NOT SAY THIS SOLELY AS A SUPPORTER OF HERS, I SAY THIS WITH A INNER GUT FEELING, THAT SHE IS OUR ONLY CHANCE TO WIN, PLEASE CONSIDER THIS WHEN YOU VOTE.

Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

this has gone from bad to worse. a noted political observer last night said that the Clinton campaign would come up with something big by Sunday morning, this probably is not it. No wonder Hillary hates the media so much, and because of them, there are ardent supporters of heres that will NOT vote for Obama if he should steal the nomination away from the strongest candidate out there. i will personally join in campaigning against him.

Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

Watching this Hillary 'Bobble Head' on TV just sickens me... She's an embarassment to females everywhere...

I originally backed her... Until the ugly, hateful emails started. Her campaign is based on self gratification through the degradation of her opponents - old style dirty politics...

Please, please PA - END THIS on TUESDAY! We beg of you...

Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

Doesn't Hillary know that "every American" doesn't want the government dipping into their paychecks to pay for health insurance. Hillary Clinton has presented herself as a working class populist, the politician in touch with small town sentiments, compared to the elitism of her opponent, Sen. Barack Obama. But a telling anecdote from her husband's administration shows Hillary Clinton's attitudes about the ‘lunch-bucket Democrats’ are not exactly pristine. In January 1995, as the Clintons were licking their wounds from the 1994 congressional elections, a debate emerged at a retreat at Camp David . Should the administration make overtures to working class white southerners who had all but forsaken the Democratic Party? The then-first lady took a less than inclusive approach.”
“‘Screw 'em,’ she told her husband. ‘You don't owe them a thing, Bill. They're doing nothing for you; you don't have to do anything for them.’ The statement -- which author Benjamin Barber witnessed and wrote about in his book, ‘The Truth of Power: Intellectual Affairs in the Clinton White House’ -- was prompted by another speaker raising the difficulties of reaching ‘Reagan Democrats.’”
In the spin room after last night’s debate, NBC/NJ’s Athena Jones reports, Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson said Clinton was quoted inaccurately and that she did not say it. Wolfson reiterated that on MSNBC's Morning Joe. “It ain’t so. It ain’t so," he said. "This is not something that occurred.” Wolfson dismissed it as a sign of the "situation" that the Obama campaign is in. “It did not happen,” he said again.
Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

There is NOTHING more annoying than a robo-call. (he only in 2001). It was called "The bankruptcy bill", and it was really horrible . . . basically making it so that individuals declaring bankruptcy would be even more vulnerable to the credit card companies . . . sorry Edwards fans, but he voted for it before he fine tuned 'the cause of his life'. Clinton thought it was terrific too. Obama was against it, both in 2001 and 2005 . . . so he had a chance to be against it, and then to vote against it.

Edwards apologized for voting for the bill, and says he now knows how horrible it was. Clinton says she voted for the bill, but is very happy that it didn't pass. She then tried to smear Obama for voting against the bill given that one of it's amendments (a 30% limit on credit card interest) was not as horrible as the rest of the bill. ugh.

If Obama was mean and nasty like Clinton, he could do up a great robo-call about that . . . but he isn't.

Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

It's interesting that Bill and Hillary's past campaign experience is not helping her in her current campaign. The Clinton's have so much experience running political campaigns but they can't manage the most important campaign in Hillary's life. Hillary's experience is like Dick Cheney's experience. Cheney was Secretary of Defense in the first Bush administration but for some reason he can't get it right with Iraq. Clinton has refused to tell us how she will force Americans to pay for the mandatory plan/those that don't purchase it.

That's what Sen. Obama has explaining as the difference between the two plans.

A state has alread tried this mandated/required/mandatory approach and there are many people who could not afford the plan. They still don't have health care but they are paying the state a penalty for not having it.

So Sen. Hillary is a power hungry fascist snot bag who is unfit to lead the United States of America. Hillary is one of the most corrosive and divisive figures in modern politics. When the messiah lies and somebody calls him on it you obama-nuts attacks. When someone say something truthful that casts the messiah in a negative light the obama cult attacks again. He lies and the obama-noids won’t' allow him to take responsibility, i.e., the wright thing. He lied on national tv saying he was unaware of wright’s racist remarks and then came back on tv and said he sat in church and heard wrights racist remarks. He blames others for his actions or inaction, i.e., the wright thing. Instead of taking responsibility for the wright thing, he labeled me a racist and blamed me. He lied on the gun control issues, i.e., he said he didn’t sign a document that he did sign. He has selective memory, i.e, he can't seem to remember to the tune of thousands of dollar how much money he received from rezko. He pretend ignorance, i.e, he claims didn't know that he was campaigning for federal funding for a company he had invested stocks in. He reneged on his agreement with mccain on campaign spending. These are all judgment, trust, integrity, ethics and credibility issues that matters to a lot of people. you obama-bots trust him to come through on his campaign pledges, when all these other things are questionable. Re, the campaign pledges, he has already reneged on some of them, i.e., the war for one. Didn’t he say he would end the war and bring the troops home? News flash!!! He doesn’t have to through anybody under the bus (Except his grandmother), you obama-nuts does that for him. I believe you all will draw blood to make him look like gold. When he is in his element he is very arrogant. However, his stuff looks pretty raggedy right now. Alice Palmer, the longtime progressive activist from the city's South Side. And they kept challenging petitions until every one of Obama's four Democratic primary rivals was forced off the ballot.

Fresh from his work as a civil rights lawyer and head of a voter registration project that expanded access to the ballot box, Obama launched his first campaign for the Illinois Senate saying he wanted to empower disenfranchised citizens.

But in that initial bid for political office, Obama quickly mastered the bare-knuckle arts of Chicago electoral politics. His overwhelming legal onslaught signaled his impatience to gain office, even if that meant elbowing aside an elder stateswoman like Palmer.
A close examination of Obama's first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career: The man now running for president on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it.

One of the candidates he eliminated, long-shot contender Gha-is Askia, now says that Obama's petition challenges belied his image as a champion of the little guy and crusader for voter rights.

"Why say you're for a new tomorrow, then do old-style Chicago politics to remove legitimate candidates?" Askia said. "He talks about honor and democracy, but what honor is there in getting rid of every other candidate so you can run scot-free? Why not let the people decide?"

In a recent interview, Obama granted that "there's a legitimate argument to be made that you shouldn't create barriers to people getting on the ballot."

But the unsparing legal tactics were justified, he said, by obvious flaws in his opponents' signature sheets. "To my mind, we were just abiding by the rules that had been set up," Obama recalled.

"I gave some thought to … should people be on the ballot even if they didn't meet the requirements," he said. "My conclusion was that if you couldn't run a successful petition drive, then that raised questions in terms of how effective a representative you were going to be."

Asked whether the district's primary voters were well-served by having only one candidate, Obama smiled and said: "I think they ended up with a very good state senator."
Obama behind challenges
America has been defined in part by civil rights and good government battles fought out in Chicago's 13th District, which in 1996 spanned Hyde Park mansions, South Shore bungalows and poverty-bitten precincts of Englewood.

It was in this part of the city that an eager reform Democrat by the name of Abner Mikva first entered elected office in the 1950s. And here a young, brash minister named Jesse Jackson ran Operation Breadbasket, leading marchers who sought to pressure grocery chains to hire minorities.

Palmer served the district in the Illinois Senate for much of the 1990s. Decades earlier, she was working as a community organizer in the area when Obama was growing up in Hawaii and Indonesia. She risked her safe seat to run for Congress and touted Obama as a suitable successor, according to news accounts and interviews.

But when Palmer got clobbered in that November 1995 special congressional race, her supporters asked Obama to fold his campaign so she could easily retain her state Senate seat.

Obama not only refused to step aside, he filed challenges that nullified Palmer's hastily gathered nominating petitions, forcing her to withdraw.

"I liked Alice Palmer a lot. I thought she was a good public servant," Obama said. "It was very awkward. That part of it I wish had played out entirely differently."

His choice divided veteran Chicago political activists.

"There was friction about the decision he made," said City Colleges of Chicago professor emeritus Timuel Black, who tried to negotiate with Obama on Palmer's behalf. "There were deep disagreements."

Had Palmer survived the petition challenge, Obama would have faced the daunting task of taking on an incumbent senator. Palmer's elimination marked the first of several fortuitous political moments in Obama's electoral success: He won the 2004 primary and general elections for U.S. Senate after tough challengers imploded when their messy divorce files were unsealed.
Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks
Ooo, look at the Hillary supporters on this list! That was not implied...he was only asked to explain his relationship. He also mangled his answer about Pastor Wright. He said he "disowned him" and then was asked, you disown him? Obama quickly corrected himself and said, "I disown the comments".. It is quite amazing that Obama still defends Pastor Wright.
And it is even more disturbing that it does not matter to some Americans. Guess we should all go around singing "God Bless America" with a small "change" in the wording. The Wright style would be acceptable I guess.

If Obama is such a great speaker, why does he mangle so many statements and need to keep clarifying so many of his mis-statements?

Oh he also called the questions in the debate manufactured political distractions, political games and petty. Well, if he sees these questions as not important for the American people to learn something about him and giving him a chance to clear up some of these scandals, then he is truly not an open honest person. These are questions about character and judgment. WE DESERVE TO HAVE ANSWERS AND THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN FROM DAY ONE AND NOT WAIT UNTIL BEING EXPOSED. THE COVERUP AND HYPE OF OBAMA IS A DISGRACE. AND TO BLAME CLINTON FOR THE QUESTIONS BEING ASKED IS MORE OF THE MEDIA BIAS AGAINST HER. OBAMA SHOT BACK SEVERAL TIMES WITH HIS DIGS AND EVEN CONTRADICTED HIS OWN ANSWER ABOUT IF HILLARY CLINTON WAS ELECTIBLE. HE HAD YES, THEN WHEN DEFENDING HIMSELF HE MADE THE SATEMENT THAT "BY SENATOR CLINTON'S OWN VETTING STANDARDS, I DON'T THINK SHE WOULD MAKE IT...." HE ALWAYS SNEAKS HIS ATTACKS IN AND YET THE MEDIA POINT OUT THAT HE IS ATTACKING NEGATIVELY. WHAT A MESS.

I am so wasting my sleep time on this stupid
Obama blog site.
Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

Sen. Hillary is more of a rethug than Karl Rove, Limbaugh and Hannity COMBINED could ever dream of being.

First of all, yes, Obama's campaign has done some robocalls, but most are about scheduled events date and times from people like Michelle Obama, Chris Rock and Scarlet Johanssen. None have ever been attacks at Clinton. EVER. That's why we don't hear about them.

Second: Hillary surrogates are out again bashing Obama supporters and alienating them EVEN further. She will NOT win this nomination, if she does, it will be because she STOLE it or CHEATED her way there. I have no respect for this lying, deceitful family any longer and the sooner they disappear, the better.

Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

It is too sad to see all those who have been duped by Obama and his campaign. All they have been doing the whole time is attacking Hillary with excessive negative campaigning. All they do is attack her, and try to tear her down. All they do is slash and burn her and her campaign. They frame her with negativity - they frame her with blame. That is their strategy - attack Hillary Clinton (and Bill Clinton too for that matter). Even though his administration was the most socio-economically successful we've ever had.

Do you get it yet? Barack framed his campaign positively and Hillary's negatively, and all his campaign does is full-spin attacks against Hillary.

She has only forecasted and raised issues that Republicans will raise in the fall, and we will lose because Barack has no proven ground to stand on with swing voters. He has no record - just his past - and there's a lot of extreme stuff in it that swing voters don't like. Like it or not, Reverend Wright was his pastor for 20 years and he said some really extreme paranoid things that Republicans will bring up and examine more thoroughly to the country as issues. There are a lot of questions and doubts that they will raise about Senator Obama - he has not proven what he can or will do. Republicans don't like that. Even Laura Ingraham said she would trust Hillary more with the Presidency than Barack. The Clintons have proved how hard they will work to bring this country prosperity. They know how to do it. They are proven centrists. Hillary is smarter than John McCain on the economy, and smarter than John McCain on defense. Barack doesn't like to debate her, because she knows "circles" around him. But do we live in a country where we really want the most qualified, knowledgeable candidate to be President? The person who would be able to help and govern our country most efficiently and effectively?

It is the press who focus on personal attacks (especially against the Clintons)and not on substance.
Bill's policies were mostly constructive and good for the country - and Bush's have been so destructive - but who cares about what matters? Let's bash the Clintons! Weeee - how fun! We are so grown up. We are so mature in our priorities and what matters to this country.

I don't think Barack could beat McCain with swing voters. Hillary has a better chance with swing voters, and it is only because his campaign has attacked her so badly, and framed her with all the blame that you don't understand she is an intelligent, good woman, and a person who has dedicated her life to being one of our most competent, outstanding public servants. She would be an excellent President. Barack could run in the future and have a better chance against Republicans after proving himself nationally.

Most importantly, Hillary has the best policies for helping the country.

Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

Will Barack leave Hillary in the dust after Tuesday? I am AA and an Obama supporter and Im from Philadelphia, but she will when PA Rendell is right there are people in PA who won't vote for an AA period. This thing ends in NC, he will crush her there and possibly win Indiana. But she has hurt him for the GE. Her supporters hate him now, and she has given the GOP talking points, funny the media questioned him about flag pins while neither they or her where wearing them. The only chance Obama has at winning the GE is if he takes her with him as the VP canidate, and let her be tenacious against McCain. Also having Bill Clinton help him campaign would be huge, Democrats Unite we are a critical point and these to dynamic people need to come together to defeat the Rep Nominee.

Clinton camp's PA robocall attacks

How is he stealing the Election Tyrone Gray? I could not support McCain if Obama lost because he wants the exact opposite of what the Dems want. N one has stolen anything they are both busting there butts campaigning. Hillary Clinton has presented herself as a working class populist, the politician in touch with small town sentiments, compared to the elitism of her opponent, Sen. Barack Obama.
But a telling anecdote from her husband's administration shows Hillary Clinton's attitudes about the "lunch-bucket Democrats" are not exactly pristine.
In January 1995, as the Clintons were licking their wounds from the 1994 congressional elections, a debate emerged at a retreat at Camp David. Should the administration make overtures to working class white southerners who had all but forsaken the Democratic Party? She joked, "I've gotten six calls in the last two days from John Glenn, Bill Clinton, and the rest of the team telling me to vote for Hillary! Obama must not care about me, he hasn't even called once!"

She was being sarcastic of course, as she has a great sense of humor (and of course, she voted for Obama, becuase she's a hard woman to dupe with gutter politics). What she was slyly suggesting was how typical it is for the Clinton camp to think the voters are so dumb they'll be wooed by heartless robo-calls.

This is classic Clinton campaigning. Just like in New Hampshire, sending out a eleventh-hour blitz of mailers wrongly attacking Obama on his abortion stance, leaving too little time for him to adequately respond.

The formula in Pennsylvania appears to be a lot like the one they used, successfully, in Ohio and New Hampshire.

Step 1: Bombard the voters with baseless negative attacks at the last minute, regardless of their validity (see: Clintons attacks on Obama's abortion stance in NH despite getting a 100% rating from Illinois' state chapter for NOW. also, see: Clinton's attacks on Obama's NAFTA stance in OH, despite that in fact her husband is the architect of NAFTA and in fact she rallied support for it).

Step 2: If the Obama campaign takes the high road, as he usually does because he respects the intelligence of the voter, continue attacking. If the Obama campaign even lifts so much as a finger to defend itself, decry it as "whining," and claim he's not capable of picking up the phone at 3am.

Step 3: After the dust settles and it becomes clear the attacks were bogus and the voters were duped, move on to the next primary and pretend it never happened. The media assists very nicely in Step 3.

This is the Clinton Family Recipe for stealing an election. And as much as I'd like to think that it won't work this time, it has in the past. Just watch, the ambiguously racist geriatric wing of the Democratic Party that cares only about where the next Medicare check is coming from will carry Hillary on her shoulders. Insert four more years of partisan bickering, needless war, and failed policies here.

If people keep voting how they always voted, they'll keep getting what they've always got. Just look at us saps here in Ohio. We got left behind at the station economically because we fall for name brand recognition (Taft, Bush, Clinton). We have suffered dearly as a result of voting for people who either have no interest in helping us, or are too incompetent to do so.

Where I used to live, in Missouri, Hillary is what we call a snake-oil salesman (or woman as it may be). Please America.
