Especially with all his money, etc.". Yet NOBODY bothers to put the same question in it's inverse. Why can't Hillary close the deal? She's by far the better known (after all she's been fully vetted right?), she's supposedly the most experienced, she was the "inevitable" nominee when this thing started. So why doesn't SHE close the deal? Perhaps it's because the Democrats are trying to choose between who they see as two equally good candidates (I disagree but that's beside the point). These same Democrats WILL come together and support Obama when HRC finally realizes she is only going to win by essentially stealing this election AS LONG AS she fully supports him like she claimed she would in the last debate. If she urges her supporters to stay Democratic in their voting and works to ensure our Democratic nominee (Obama) is in the White House (vs. setting herself up for a 2012 run) then we'll win.

To take a phrase from the Clinton memo....watch what (she) does not what she says. We'll see the proof in the pudding of whether or not she's pure ambition for herself or pro-Democrat party when she is faced with supporting nominee Obama on the road to the White House. Remember, she should have just as much is not more pressure than Obama to "close the deal" if she is such a superior candidate.

Clinton projected PA winner

Congratulations Senator Clinton on a hard fought Victory.

Obama '08

Clinton projected PA winner

How could it have been too early to call 20 mins ago (per your own postings) and now Hillary is the winner? They have no intension of voting democratic in Nov.
But they would rather face her with all of her baggage than to face Obama. We've seen this time and time again over the course of this primary season. One day the math is irreconcilable and there's no way Hillary can take this nomination. Then she wins one and whoa! Hold the phone, this thing is far from over! Come-on people, this thing has been over for a while now and you all know it. As I'm writing this, I'm listening to the great Chuck Todd bringing reality back into this. There is no way Hillary can take this nomination. Spinsylvannia or no Spinsylvannia , it's over. All of this drama is for Hillary's sake and for the media. Stop the drama, vote Obama!

Clinton projected PA winner

Just turned off the coverage. I'm too tired of hearing the BS spin the Clinton campaign is putting on this not unexpected 'victory'. Yes, it was a victory for Clinton but when you were 26% ahead just 6 weeks ago and are just barely winning today, how much of a 'victory' can you really claim? She has to win by a MINIMUM of 10% to really claim a difinitive victory and all of you people hoodwinked by her lies can't deny it.

Clinton projected PA winner

no he can't. And now we're talking about the margin.

Secondly, does anyone really think she wouldn't have spent as much as Obama if she actually had it? Of course she would have, but her campaign is in huge financial trouble.

Lastly, Texas was a wash - not a victory for either side. She needs to be careful with how she plays this victory tonight and not be too smug. She was supposed to win PA from the beginning. She has simply done what was expected based on her typical demographics. She didn't overcome anything in this primary.

I congratulate her on her expected victory, but expect that we will still be calling Obama our nominee in August - and that's how it should be.

Clinton projected PA winner

MSNBC when are you going to call Clinton on her constant changing of the rules for nomination?
