All of the analysis in the world will not change the basic perception that the media gives HiLIARy a free ride. Honestly, why is Obama still riddled and hamstrung more by Rev. Wright than HiLIARy is about blatant lies on Bosnia? He didn’t do anything wrong, she did.

I am glad the NYT and a few reporters jumped all over her yesterday. Her latest blatant lies on the popular vote totals are absurd. Why isn’t she being blasted for her nuke Iran comments? If Obama made those statements, he would be vilified. Her list of errors, gaffes, lies and negative politics is a mile long. Yet, she gets a free pass. So I ask again, why does the media fear her and give her so much latitude? Her negative ratings are so low, she can afford to keep up the negative campaigning and not fear any more damage to her base. If she had been properly questioned and cornered on all of her lies, inconsistencies, flip-flopping on MI & FL, moving the goal post arguments, tax returns, the Clinton Library list of donors, her role in NAFTA, etc. maybe the results would have been different in PA and Ohio. Her voters are all fanatics. You know about fanatics, all the angels in heaven cannot change their mind and they never shut up.

I wish Sierra in SF ran the mainstream media in this country. She goes after HiLIARy in a manner which others should emulate.

Hillary trying to spin her victory in the PA till she puked shows how desperate she has become. She has a lawsuit she will have to testify in soon and many more lies and stories to tell in the upcoming months.

Considering the liberals ran Louisiana before and after Katrina, to keep blaming President Bush for the Katrina mess is still a good laugh. That's why people in Louisiana got rid of the democratic governor.

With Hillary basically telling southerners to go (expletive) themselves, i cannot see how any southerner can actually talk about voting for Hillary.

You often describe the superdelegate count, but one important stat does not seem to be reported.
Of the 230 already named superdelegates who are uncommitted, what is the breakdown based on States won. The SD's are inclined to follow their state pledged votes, are they not, so that number should be a useful indicator.

Clinton lost the nomination on Tuesday. She didn't win big enough, and it's now impossible for her to win (by the rules of the game) as long as the Obama campaign doesn't somehow self-implode. The popular vote count the Clintons are trying to pull is just rediculous and arbitrary, as it counts states that didn't even have legitimate elections, it excludes out the anti-Clinton vote in Michigan, and it excludes caucus states. How is the media giving them a free pass on this "Some but not others" Clinton argument? They literally want to exclude legitimate elections for elections that were entirely illegitimate... and they only want to partially count those!

She's already lost...

Oh, and congratulations to the Clinton campaign yesterday for making enough money to pay off their staggering debt!

I've always thought the frontloading gave Senator Clinton a HUGE advantage. Clinton was a known quantity, and Senator Obama had to play catch up.

Her inability to be truthful should be a concern to all voters. Why do you want that back in the White House? Her threats with Iran should worry people too.

As to Clinton being the best chance to beat McCain? Only the uninformed really believe that. That is why the Republicans are pushing her candidacy. She will be far easier to defeat. They have so much to go after her on, and she has driven her own negatives up even among the Democratic voters.

If she should become the candidate, I will have a very tough time voting for her, given her outrageous behavior. The only thing that will make me do it is potential Supreme Court nominees from Senator McCain.

I am tired of trying to refute mindless arguments from the group think "media". But anyway:

1. The problem with the ABC debate was not tough questioning for Senator Obama but the lack of BALANCE in the questioning. Not one NAFTA/CAFTA question? Really?

2. Questions like: "Why did Obama select his church?" and "Why do white working class voters prefer Clinton?" are pointless. Regardless of the answer, there isn't anything to be done about either one. It is what it is. Asked and answered. Draw your own conclusions and MOVE ON for pete's sake!

3. The most important stastistics from Pennsylvania are these: Over 65% of voters feel that Senator Clinton attacked Senator Obama unfairly and that she is dishonest. 54% of them voted for her anyway. Enough said. You can't say you didn't know.

People who think Hillary can beat McCain more so than Obama haven't really looked at her demographics. They are just as likely to vote for McCain when it comes right down to it. Afterall, they are the Reagan democrats. She can't expect to receive the support of young voters, black voters, and independents if she wins simply by the superdelegates deciding differently. I for one am offended by someone being rewarded for not following the rules and lying. I would say Lee Hamilton's endorsement of Obama is far more important that Bayh's endorsement of Clinton. Let's not forget that Hamilton was vice chairmen of the 9/11 Council and is on the Homeland Security Council – the man knows more about our national security threats and needs than almost anyone and he sees Obama as the best candidate.

We should also acknowledge that Obama has demonstrated his ability to work with Republicans through his joint effort with Dick Lugar on the Nonproliferation initiative.

Why Hilary absolute best outcome is vice president.

After following the rules by the Democratic Party, Obama is on the brink of winning the most pledge delegates. For the Party to take this nomination away from him will reflect the sentiment and doubts African American have in the back of head: “No matter how hard we try to get ahead in life and no matter how much we follow the rules there will be someone there to take it away from you”.

The most loyal block of the Democratic Party, African Americans, will stay home or even worst vote Republican- if the Republican were able to build up enough outrage about the fairness of not nominating Barack Obama. This is unlikely because of John McCain voting record- Martin Luther King Day. McCain has now started courting African American for good reasons. On abortion, gay marriage, and religion African Americans are align with the Republican; hence, it would be that difficult for African Americans to switch party but this will only happen if and only if the Republican can show and prove they care about minorities. Democrats must choose Obama has their nominee in order to minimize African American backlash which would last over 40 years.

Hilary Clinton has knock Obama down from his pedestal and only leave him with only one decision: He must choose her as his vice president or another female with strong national security experience. Obama can win the Presidency if Hilary is the vise president.

The ramifications for awarding the nomination to Hilary Clinton is too big of a price to pay for a family who was once consider the darling of the party.

It seems in all the excitement over Hillary's Penn win one fact is being overlooked. Her victory was not as much a statement of her popularity in Penn. but more a testament of the political strength of one

How else do you explain the surprising exit polls that suggest people voted for HRC even while having a very low opinion of her honesty and truthfulness. How is this possible? I'll tell you, I am from Chicago and I am 55 years old. I have seen the power of the Daley Machine. that can deliver votes against all odds. No Tues was not a victory for Hillary it was a Flexing of muscle by the Rendell Machine. The same Machine that will throw it's weight behind an Obama presidential run.

I don't think the Obama campaign should go low with smear. He got to where he is by taking the high road and running on a new kind of politics. Hillary, on the other hand, represents all that is foul with our current method of running for office. A lot of people say she took pages out of Rove's playbook, but I think Rove actually learned the game from the Clinton's back in the early 90's.

Having said that, I don't think Obama can win by playing Hillary's game - she's a master at it. He needs to make his own rules and go to a place where Hillary is uncomfortable, like promoting integrity, and good moral character. You know, the natural abilities that make a leader.

This doesn't mean that the Obama campaign shouldn't be smart and just ignore Hillary's (and Bill's) past. There is a system in place to safely illuminate the heap she drags with her, and that is the 527's. I'm frankly surprised that MoveOn and others haven't hit her hard with her past. After all, it isn't like there's a lack of material.

A status conference hearing is scheduled for Friday, April 25, 2008, in Los Angeles California, to finally set a trial date in Paul vs. Clinton.
California Superior Judge Aurelio N. Munoz delayed setting a trial date back in February, but is scheduled to set a trial date this Friday.
Judge Munoz ruled back in February that Paul's legal team can begin seeking depositions from a host of big names – including Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, along with an A-list of Hollywood celebrities that allegedly were witnesses to an effort by the Clintons and top Democratic leaders to extract millions of dollars from Paul in illegal donations and then cover it up. Discovery in the trial is expected to start in May. The Clintons have tried to dismiss the case, but the California Supreme Court, in 2004, upheld a lower-court decision to deny the motion.
The complaint says Bill Clinton promised to promote Paul's Internet entertainment company, Stan Lee Media, in exchange for stock, cash options and massive contributions to his wife's 2000 Senate campaign. Paul contends he was directed by the Clintons and Democratic Party leaders to produce, pay for and then join them in lying about footing the bill for an August 2000 Hollywood gala and fundraiser.
The Clintons' legal counsel has denied the former president made any deal with Paul. But Paul's attorney Colette Wilson has stated there are witnesses who say it was common knowledge at Stan Lee Media that Bill Clinton was preparing to be a rainmaker for the company after he left office.
Paul claims former Vice President Al Gore, former Democratic Party chairman Ed Rendell and Clinton presidential campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe also are among the people who can confirm Paul engaged in the deal.
The complaint also asserts that Senator Clinton filed four false reports to the FEC of Paul's donations in an attempt to distance herself from him after a Washington Post story days after the August 2000 fundraiser reported his past felony convictions. Clinton then returned a check for $2,000, insisting it was the only money she had taken from Paul. But one month later, she demanded another $100,000, to be hidden in a state committee using untraceable securities.
Senator Clinton was dismissed from the case as a defendant, but Munoz already has made it clear he won't accept any attempts to block Senator Clinton from serving as a material witness. The judge told Clinton's lawyer David Kendall: "Well, any opposition is probably going to be dead on arrival, if that will – if you understand what I'm saying, Mr. Kendall."
DOJ Prosecutor Dan Schwaber told a jury in May, 2005 at the trial of Hillary’s finance director David Rosen, that it was a crime “to deny the public’s right to know that Peter Paul personally gave more than $1.2 million to Hillary’s national campaign”.
Paul has outlined the entire case in a one hour documentary entitled, Hillary Uncensored, Banned by the Media.
Although Paul is a three time convicted felon, he has passed a lie detector's test in answering questions as to whether there was an agreement made for Stan Lee Media to hire Bill Clinton once he left the White House. Paul also claims he has several hours of home video of Senator Clinton, and states, "her own words will indict her".
How much longer will the media continue to cover-up this case for Senator Clinton and deny the voters right to know about this trial?
If Barack Obama or the media doesn't begin to ask questions about the upcoming Peter Paul trial, and the four false FEC reports that were filed, John McCain and the GOP will.

When this race started my family and extended family were torn between the 2 candidates and the clinton supporters honestly felt she was going to drown Obama with the power of her experience and knowledge on the issues. The Obama supporters argued he had a very good grasp of the issues to withstand her assault , plus some charisma. Some likened it to Al Gore fighting a John kerry with a lot more Charisma. Have to admit Clinton also had a lot more of the women 60 to 40. Today only one person remains in her camp out of 18 and they all cite ...this need to do absolute anything, say anything to win. Sure it's the most important job in the world, one worth fighting for, but also one worth keeping your integrity for.

Obama is "sitting" on 43 Mil After PAYING HIS BILLS,and has money coming in everyday!

She beat Obama by less than 10. So she does well among old, white uneducated voters. She is not good for the democratic party. Hillary is politics as usual and totally untrustworthy. Hasn't the nation suffered enough? Why, why, why do we have to endure Hillary's assault on Obama for the next three months? I want to be for something for a change, I am tired of hating my President and his administration, hating three quarters of the media, hating the dumb dumb dummies in other parts of the country, (you know who you are.) I just want decent leadership, a positive direction. Al Gore, where are you?

As a Obama supporter, I am basically fed up. Starting with the media, they spin Rev Wright, who cares where you go to church, the media could drop that but they dont. But they dropped Bonsia, NAFTA, CAFTA, CLINTON bashing MoveOn.Org, CLinton telling Bush not to attend opening ceremony games, but accepting monies form Alibaba who posts the "MOST WANTED LIST" for Tibetan Activists. I dont get it. The media wants Clinton, I have not figured out why, is it race? is it something to talk about? is it just Clinton admiration? but I am sadden, as a patriotic 55 year old white woman...who is not backing Hillary along with Media!

Didn't you take the new math course that's all the rage these days? It's called Clinton. If she gets her hands on the Educational System in the US the new courses will be Algebra, Calculus, and Clinton.

I just love how she figures the popular vote.

I can not believe that her supporters believe anything that comes out of this womans mouth.

Barack, and Axelrod are geniuses. His campaign headed straight for NC, and Indiana, while Hillary went to Pa., a state she already had in the bag, instead of thinking 3, or 4 moves ahead on the chess board, like the Obama campaign did. Obama took some heat for it in Pa., but Axelrod knew exactly how much he could expect to close the gap in Pa., and exactly how long it would take him to accomplish that.

So while Hillary did'nt even mark time in Pa., having lost 16 of her 26 point lead, Obama shored up a huge lead in NC, and is running even with her in Indiana. Once again, Obama has kept Hillary out of breath, 'er money, and falling farther behind.

I did'nt understand the strategy at the time, but see it now. Team Clinton got out manuvered once agian.

It's true, the media is always saying how Obama need to win in states that he is not favored to win, but no one is chanting the mantra of Clinton needing to win a state she deems unworthy or unimportant. Just another example of Hillary spin. It would be pleasant to see a bit of pressure applied to her about winning in a state where she is down in the poles.

People need to wake up and realize this race is over. So Indiana and North Carolina, you can vote for someone who has already lost or you can vote for Obama who already has won this race. I keep hearing there is a race for popular vote. If there is a race for popular vote, how do you count caucus states (i.e Alaska, Washington State, etc.) where there are no true popular numbers ? So to me the popular vote rhetoric cannot be used by the super delegates in deciding this race. Truly superdelegates should take a look at the delegate counts. Both candidates will beat John McCain, so electability shouldn't be an issue. Infact on the issue of electability, the Republicans appear to prefer to run against Hillary, than Obama.

Bottom line, the Democratic Party has it's Presidential Candidate. It is Obama. He has won the most pledged delegates, he has won the most states, and given the fact that there is no true way of deciphering popular vote received by some of the caucus states it is unusable. Regardless of the outcome of North Carolina and Indiana, Obama has already won the Democratic primary for 2008. The sooner people realize this, the sooner the party can mend and we move forward against the Republicans. To vote for Hillary is like the Republicans still voting for Huckabee... It means nothing..

The N.C. GOP ad attack against Perdue and Moore that connects them with Obama and Rev. Wright that is going to aired on local stations, the ad does not reflect North Carolina values. There are several subliminal coded race messages lodged in the ad . The National Republican Party and Senator Mc Cain have asked the N.C. GOP to take down the ad. It has refused. I have asked local stations not to contribute to stirring up racial animus. I wanted to let our local media markets know how we feel, if they choose to air the advertisement. We are their viewers Also I am have asked Senator Dole and Senator Burr not to contribute to stirring up racial animosity. I want both of them to join Senator McCain demand that the N.C. GOP attack ads be pulled. The Clinton campaign has been conspicuously slight on this issue. Race is in the campaign because Senator Obama is an African American, but racist tentacles do not have to be in grained in this campaign. We are better than this as a nation, as North Carolinians.

Obama will win North Carolina easily, not that it matters. North Carolina does not count. He will probably also win Indiana, although that state doesn't count either. Unless Hillary wins it, in which case it does count.

As an Obama supporter, I am embarrassed by his performance in Michigan. He did not get a single vote there! This has to be the first time in history that a presidential candidate was shut out in a state. Even the Libertarian candidates gets a couple of hundred votes in every state. What happened?

Oh, I remember now, his name was not on the ballot. If I was Hillary, I would demand that the popular vote in Michigan be counted, and that Obama get a zero for that state. I would also demand that the popular vote in caucus only states be ignored, since Obama did well there.

Let's make it simple. Let's follow the rules when they benefit Hillary and ignore them when they don't.

Or did she beat me to those ideas?

Obama in 2008. Integrity matters and the Clintons have none. Just ask their creditors.

jerry - nice try in revising the Katrina saga -but, it was your Texas hero, el presidente George W Bush, who neglected to manage the problem or set foot in the city like most "compassionate conservatives" would have; it was W who appointed and lauded the work of that idiot horse show organizer in charge of FEMA, and it goes on and on. The conservatives have screwed things up so bad - and we don't even know how bad yet, because they are doing everything a fiscal conservative would not do to keep the economy afloat until after the election. Then all hell will break loose. Thanks but no thanks to conservative "thought" as your other hero Rush likes to call it.
