Well than Nancy the BIG NUMBER is 2025 and neither Candidate has that!!! Why??? because each of our candidates has about 50% of the democratic vote so far. The vote is so close and you can't just leave out half of the voters because you think there is other good talent out there. I really think they need to run together at this point. It is so interesting that Nancy suggests the superdelegates should vote the will of there states when she clearly leans towards Obama and California went for Hillary. Similar to John Kerry, Ted Kennedy and Bill Richardson voting opposite of there states. Hmmmm the rules change as long as they are in favor of Obama it seems. The fact is both candidates are trying to bend the rules in their favor. Leave in/out Michigan and Florida, etc. Superdelegates can choose who they want, thats what makes them SUPER!

That ticket is an attempt to placate and cover wrong doing. Only Clinton supporters endorsing nullification of voters wishes would suggest such a thing. It won't work. I love that Pelosi is so up-front. The dream ticket would be a nightmare.

Hillary probably would need Obama to bring the party back together, though it would just be one more example or her, shall we charitably call it "flexibility?" He's not ready to be President, but I'll put him a heartbeat away from the job?

For Obama, she would just be unnecessary baggage. Democratic women are not going to abandon the party they have supported for decades for a 72 year-old who cheated on his ex-wife with the woman who would become first lady. Obama will reunite the party. What he doesn't need is to add Hillary's negatives to the ticket, nor should he add the distractions that Bill and Hillary would present, just by the fact of their being there ... through no fault of their own.

Obama should take the charge of inexperience in foreign and military policy seriously and chose someone like Jim Webb as Veep. (Not Wes Clark, though, my army Col. father-in-law says Clark gets no respect from the non-West Point guys).

If they end up on the same ticket, it will either look like it's been forced upon them by the Democratic Party or that the two were insincerely posturing eachother during the primary.

Personally, I'd like to see a governor on a senator's ticket to add to the "executive experience" argument or someone who has extensive foreign policy experience to balance out McCain's argument that his foreign policy experience trumps that of both Clinton and Obama.

Richardson cannot be trusted and a traitor. Don't vote for him when runs for a Senator. He belongs to Wright, Rezco and Ayer who join any rgoup or fraternity where he will benefit and not the Americans.

Obama’s motto and theme should be Pay per Vote. Obama overspent in Pennsylvannia and still came out the loser.

Look at the facts as to how strong Hillary is:

Obama lost in Pennsylvannia in spite of endorsement by a Senator and overspending in ads, 5 to 1.

Obama lost in Texas and Ohio even overspending in ads and manipulating info in Ohio.

Obama lost in California even though Oprah, Maria Shriver, and Katherine Kennedy endorsed him.

Obama lost Massachusetts even though Kennedy and John Kerry endorsed him.

Hillary won the big states and has more electoral college votes to date than Obama that is crucial in November.

Obama lost the big states even though the media is most of the time unfair with Hillary and always positive to Obama.

Wake up superdelegates! You will make the right choice if you pick Hillary.

Obama mocked the Pennsylvannians and the entire nation, which is so irresponsible and very degrading to all Americans. He is just like Wright who mocked the Americans and like Rezco and Ayers who we can’t trust.

She's right! HilLIARy would not make a good veep. She has already tried to diminish his thus far accomplishment of being a virtual unknown and kicking her butt. Additionally, she would attempt to upstage him with the press. If she wins I would love to see Obama step up to the podium, gracefully congratulate her, refuse the veep (because she would have to offer it to him) then immediatley walk off of the stage and register as an independent. Without ever saying a negative word about her or her weed smoking husband (c'mon have ever seen eyes that puffy except for Jeff Spicoli on Fast Times at Ridgemont High?)

Why she feels the need to continue to stress this is puzzling to say the least. If she is in the Obama camp then you can only guess that he has made his feeling know to her...Hillary has already stated publically she would share the ticket. So if this is the case...Obama doesn't want to share the ticket with Hillay than I think Hillary supporters are right in saying they will not back him if he becomes the nominee...I for one will back him provided she is on the ticket. I don't see how the Democratic Party is going to get united. It is so split right now, it will take a miracle to unite everybody. If the leaders in the Democratic Party hold up Barak as our nominee, we will fail in November. There has to be a joint ticket because each candidate has half the electorate.

You can't force unity. Pelosi is absolutely right. We don't do "arranged marriages" in the United States, whether they are political or not. The two candidates should be able to choose their own running mates. People need to respect eachother and be able to work well together. Hillary Clinton has made it quite clear that she has little if any respect for Sen. Obama. Perhaps a McCain/Clinton ticket would suit her and her supporters more since they're both heading in the same direction foreign policy wise.

I am a real American. I work every day for my living. I have a mortgage, and a jeep. I am not rich, but I work hard every-day except Sunday when I spend time with my Family. In addition, every day, I try to figure where I can squeeze a little more from my budget to help my oldest son, who is in college. By the way, my oldest son and I have both been in the military, so we know what it means to sacrifice. And we both morn the loss of dear friends and comrades. We know there value is far above the price of oil, which sometimes makes us bitter. My son went to Iraq, my sister invaded Iraq, I have a brother-in-law who has been to Iraq twice, and he is in the reserves. I have held a secret security clearance. I say all of this because I want people to know how I believe real Americans feel.

Hillary must win this election fairly, and on her own merits—not others. Furthermore, if any back-room, rule-breaking, after-fact-deals, occur(like Hillary winning the popular vote without counting Obama’s caucus votes, or she take all the votes from Florida and Michigan—rule breaking—then I can promise that we Americans will not take it sitting down. Our country could face utter civil disobedience. Thomas Jefferson’s words will take root and grow. Real Americans will not let the extremely wealthy people who control the media (all the media,) control us. Real Americans can see through the smoke clouds and mirrors. Real Americans will demand that this be a fair election, and that the super delegates had better wake up and realize that there is more at stake her than just picking a president! America’s honor is on the line. Running against another democrat splits the democratic vote in half. To say Obama would not win because you beat him in this state or that is insane, stupid, and totally not true! You dishonor yourself Hillary and the democratic process. Real Americans want our honor, your honor, our countries honor to be restored! Do not continue to dishonor America by twisting the truth.
