There is so much talk about Rev. Wright and Sen. Obama, but does anyone really understand how real Sen. Obama's judgment is?

Clinton and McCain have said that that would have left the church...well I applaud Sen. Obama for not leaving the church. A church is more that its pastor, a church is a community. The good this church has done for the community far outweighs the sound bites of Rev. Wright’s unfortunate choice of words.

Had Sen. Obama left the church, he would have left the very people he has been fighting for his entire career. Perhaps Sen. Clinton and Sen. McCain should read the entire sermon. Perhaps they should have read the entire Iraq study guide as well; evidently these two make their decisions from sound bites.

Sen. Obama shows that he is thoughtful, caring, honest, very intelligent and a fair person. He has strength of character his opponent’s lack. He also has an extraordinary sense of judgment that his opponents also lack. I believe he is the type of person we want leading our Country back from the brink of disaster.

Say that the NC republicans are using the Rev. Wright issue as a distraction, while not addressing the fact that George Bush has dug a hole for the US with his domestic and foreign policies. Obama’s former pastor made comments that Obama does not agree with. "Well," Boston, I am a born and bred Yankee who also lived in the Heartland for many years. I am now living very happily in northwest NC, after several decades of part-time residence. This is a very progressive community, believe it or not, probably more so than Boston. Attack Linda Daves all you want; she deserves it, but not North Carolina. And, incidentally, did any of you read Sandy Grady's column in "USAToday" Monday before the Pennsylvania primary. I am a native Philadelphia, and Grady was a columnist for the "Evening Bulletin" for many years, before its demise. He was very prescient in describing the negative role that racist attitudes might play in the Pennsylvania primary. Exit polls seem to indicate he was right. What about that, Boston?

I've lived in NC for about 18 months now and some parts of the state are quite progressive (e.g. Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte.) Sen Obama is going to win big hear not just because of the black vote, but there are LOTS of white people here that support his candidacy. Hillary and Bill are spending most of their time campaigning in the less educated parts of the state where they feel they can bamboozle the people there into believe she's a "fighter." In reality, she's only fighting for her own quest for power.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 15 to 20 point victory in NC.

And, it's kinda funny to hear the radio ads from the dems gubernatorial candidates. On the black radio stations, they both tout their strong support of Obama. Moore even has a radio ad that says "Richard Moore was the FIRST candidate to support Barack Obama..."
