Forget bowling in Pennsylvania. In Hoosier country it is basketball. Perhaps Chris Matthews can get his BFF (Lying)Hillary to go drinking and bowling.

Oh and lets stop talking about popular vote until you can figure out how to count the popular votes from caucus states. It's not about Fl and Mi. It's about counting all the popular vote from those states who did play by the rules. Prediction: Obama will win in Indiana (by a very small margin) and later that week Hillary will be given an opportunity to graciously bow out. Honesty does matter in Indiana.

Where is the commentary on the Jeremiah Wright interview on PBS? I notice all major newscasts over the air and the internet are ignoring it. I wonder why. Is it because there were no gotcha moments to run away with?

Doing well in basketball in Indiana is much more of a positive among Hoosiers than a gutter ball was negative in Penn. I presume that we will see more 3 on 3 events in Indiana and NC. His response to one question about his best shot was "my first step," is an excellent answer for the basketball fan.

Thanks for the account of the basketball game, since we didn't get to see but a very brief glimpse on the news political coverage. Why wasn't the basketball game and the three point play shown over and over like Sen. First off, Athena. I've heard basketball players called many things but "baller" sends out too many unwanted connotations. Having said that, as I noticed the picture of Obama holding a basketball on the net and in the indy Papers I first thought it was a welcome switch from these dreary days of normal politics. Then it struck me that there easily might be some citizens whose vote was influenced by that picture.

To me, if that did occur, that would be quite the troubling situation since posed pictures of candidates like this amount to little more than misleading advertising just as ads like Chrysler's make the dubious link between their car and peace of mind, except now we have Obama letting his hair down to show he is just a regular guy.

But, he is not a regular guy. He is contending to become the next President of the United States, and though I am as much an athlete as the next guy and this photo op will not affect me, it may affect others. And that's what is sad. Besides, I doubt if the leaders of North Korea or Iran care much for basketball, and the next game Obama may play will be in their court anyway.
