Like i have said before, this election will shed more light on MSM and the bigots that still remain in this country.

According to Mark Halperin, McCain said he is going to exploit Wright issue. The question the press should ask him is why? What about McCain pastor that is as controversial as anything else? It seems to me McCain is going against his own pledge.

Howard Dean is right, McCain a weak candidate. The old grand pa is not going to win my vote let alone win 2% of democratic voters. The guy is a hypocrite and a darling of the MSM.
Obama talks race, Wright, debates

That's so right, Obama's spiritual mentor is Christ, not Wright. And in this context, it's no small wonder that Obama doesn't 'dump' those he doesn't see eye to eys with or downright disagrees with. Afterall, Christ cautioned to let God be the judge.

If one were to consider what the 'unknown' Obama has achieved without the phenomenal brand name of Clinton,
he's right - come the general election, not only would he be better known... the 'brand name' who undermines her own fellow democrat at every given opportunity won't be on the ballot...and the entire democratic party machinery will be behind him, undiluted. Yes, Obama will soar above the 'politicking' to make things happen - with honor, in D.C.

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

No more debates---cannot take any more whining and excuses of Racism and that mean ol Hillary moaning, that would follow. He is getting attention and sympathy votes already with his bs.He is singlehandedly taking the Democratic party to the political dumpster. This makes me angry I have worked hard for the Democratic party for years and in one swoop this racist has set it back for who knows how long?Pelosi,Dean and Kennedy have aided and abetted in its demise---with their weak and whimpy backstabbing performances also.I hope they too will be thrown out of office as they so richly deserve. They have protected George Bush and stabbed the Clintons with their obama sickness.

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

Obama will win the nomination by eating more pot roasts and jello!
Yeah - that should do it!
Go Hillary!

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

I had taped the interview that Bill Moyer had done with Rev. Wright so I didn't get to watch it until today. The media has NEVER reported that the remark that Rev. Wright said about "the chickens are coming home to roost" was first made on Fox News by Amb. Peck right after Sept. 11. Why doesn't the media tell us that? Or report that that remark was made by an Amb.? That wouldn't make good gossip would it? Also, that the remark that Rev. Wright was taken out of context? Why doesn't the media talk about the Rev. Wright? Like he was only a few that were allowed in the room with Pres. Johnson when he had surgery? Not good gossip? Four months and 42 states after the opening Iowa caucuses, the primary in North Carolina on May 6 now looms as a pivotal final showdown between Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Obama starts with a double-digit lead in polls here, a state where 2,400 free tickets to his rally at the War Memorial Auditorium in Greensboro last week were gone within three hours of the announcement he would appear. But Clinton has appeal in the Tar Heel State, too, and is competing hard. The day after Obama's rally, she drew 1,000 supporters to the gym at Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville for a town hall meeting.

"I really believe May 6 has the potential to be everything," says Joe Trippi, a strategist for the presidential bids of former North Carolina senator John Edwards this year and Howard Dean in 2004. "Every day you see increased pressure on Hillary Clinton about why she's staying in, and if she could win in North Carolina it would shut down that kind of talk and open up the possibility she could get there" to the nomination.

"But if he wins in North Carolina," Trippi says of Obama, "I think you're going to see things close up very quickly. You'll see a lot of superdelegates line up behind him."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

Obama looked so scared to be on Fox. This man called Obama preachers to us like his preacher WRIGHT did to him, Wright is no MINISTER he PREACHERS to his people not MINISTERS to them, he tells them what to think and what to do (this man WRIGHT is no Reverend either for he does not do GODS’ will for he strictly preachers for he knows the way and what is RIGHT ….. HA! Does this make you think of someone else the BIG “O” know it all). Will another debate bring our WRIGHT from inside of OBAMA?
Obama please don't be so chicken S _ _ T!

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

If Hillary Clinton was to win the Democratic nomination with a majority of valid elected delegates, she would have a reasonable chance of winning the general election. For example we now have Rep. James Clyburn, superdelegate from South Carolina and the third-ranking Democrat in the House has again criticizing President Clinton about Clinton’s equating of Obama’s victory in January’s South Carolina primary to that of the Rev. Jesse Jackson in the 1988 primary. Clyburn remains infuriated over this and felt as did many in the black community that Clinton’s comments were meant to diminish Obama’s success in the South Carolina campaign.

Although Clinton’s comments were unnecessarily glib and boorish especially for an ex-President, they, like Obama’s words concerning how Pennsylvania’s citizens when stressed retreat to their guns and Bibles, were words “poorly chosen” with cameras and microphones recording their every utterance. Ironically, Obama did end up accumulating virtually the same percentage of South Carolina's vote as Jackson did in ’88, but that’s hardly the issue. The more important concern now seems to be that with all the blatant racial divisions this campaign has exposed with blacks and whites voting largely on racial lines, it isn’t necessary to misuse poorly chosen words to invent new such divisions were those do not exist,
Obama talks race, Wright, debates

Sen. I broke my self impose embargo of not watching fox (unfair and unbalance news) to watch the interview. My first take was Chris Wallace is head and heel above the republican party hacks that mascarade as broadcasters that constantly filled the air waves with hatred and mis information. It was refreshing to see and hear the professionalism and the non combative and civil way in which this dialouge was carried out, yet, all the time asking the tough questions and getting the answers he required. Its quite clear to me that Sen Obama is well on his way to challenge John McCain in the fall, and will win the oval office, taking into consideration that John McCain although given all this free ride by the media has not put forward one tangible plan that is not a off shoot of the failed polices of the George Bush administration. No wonder this nation going throuh aches and financial pains are regestering in the thousands to be able to vote come november with one aim, and that is to change the quagmire we have been forced into. So Chris Wallace i say good job for asking the tough questions and to Sen, Obama I say you are well on your way, you have been pull through the mud, drag through the fire by the vicious attacks coming out of Fox News (Fox noise) and yet you grows stronger after each hachet jod is done on you.Rupert Murdock should do a massive house cleaning at this station and bring in anchors that are fair and balance and stop this outlet from becoming a cult.

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

Is this over yet?

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

This is all fine but I'm wondering why my favorite source for news did not carry live the Jeremiah Wright speech at the NAACP convention in Detroit yesterday.
Both CNN and FOX carried the speech live. He makes us very proud to be Americans - WE should all listen if we truly want to bridge this racial divide

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

Well, well, well...at least Obama states that he goes to church not to worship his pastor but God. He need to realizes God is working through his pastor along side with the devil as well. Thus you have both the God and the Devil working through his Pastor. I listen to his Pastor's Wright speech...unbelievable...he is intellectually smart and charming, however, appears incredibly stupid on National TV. The introduction was weird and an overkill introducing Rev. Wright. Bullshit on Rev. Wright stating that the Black Church in mostly understood and he described himself as descriptive not divisive. Now I understood how he can have over 8,000 church members over the past 3 decades of ministry. He must and most probaly realizes that his sheep flock church members are a mirror image of his attitude. I can now understand the Black's attitude toward not only America but also the white people. Obama should talk about his Rev. Wright's bitterness whose sermon that he listened to the past 20 years as well as his own. I am still supporting HIllary still to this point.

Steve P., Washington

Obama talks race, Wright, debates

Well, well, well...at least Obama states that he goes to church not to worship his pastor but God.
