It is time for the Republican-controlled Media to give this Wright controversy some fairness and enquire of Hillary Clinton and her surrogates the following: Is it true that, (1) Hillary surrogate, Congresswoman Shiela Jackson Lee, is also a devotee of Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright; that he's been preaching at her home church, where she is actively involved, annually for the past 15 years and has an open invitation to return, and, that she sat in the pews for his visits and did not bat an eye?

Is it true that (2) Hillary surrogate, Rev. Marcia Dyson was not only a longtime member of Trinity United Church of Christ but also still considers Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright her pastor? That Rev. Marcia Dyson's seminary education, in part, was sponsored by Trinity UCC and encouraged by Rev. Wright? And was it not at Trinity were she first met her husband, Rev. Dr. Michael Dyson, who's been very vocal in his defense of Rev. Wright.?

And, lastly of Hillary Clinton, that if Rev. Wright would not have been her Pastor, then why did she and Bill when going through Impeachment, turn to Rev. Wright for Prayer and Support and invite him to the White House? These things should be asked and answered.

At 18 cents a gallon, the savings on one 15 gallon tank of gas is about $2.70. The fill-up would be between $45 and $60. The almost $3 goes towards the repair and inspection of bridges, tunnels and roads. My portion of the savings would be about $27 for the entire summer. I think that the $27 is better spent on infrastructure than at the local Walmart.

Senator Clinton DID attend Church services led by Reverend Wright on at least one occasion and neither did she get up and walk out, nor did she scold Reverend Wright for his sermon. She and her husband also invited Reverend Wright to the White House and prayed with him. This is the height of hypocrisy and what is more despicable is that she first said these things to Richard Mellon Scaiffe (the man who IS the godfather of that vast right-wing conspiracy Senator Clinton used to be so angry about).

Senator McCain has behaved with more dignity than Senator Clinton on this issue as has Governor Huckabee (who said he would not want his parishioners held to every word he had spoken-- wise man, Gov. Huckabee).

Senator Clinton has lost all respect I had for her. I don't believe she has any racial animosities, but I do believe she is attempting to stir the racial pot and wake up sleeping fears any way she can in the hopes that it will benefit her politically. This is unbelievably unethical and not at all good for this Country. We have made so much progress and it is inconceivable to me that anyone (much less a Democrat like Senator Clinton) would even consider throwing this progress away for the sake of political gain.

I am white, not close to being young and a woman. I seriously wish it was not necessary to identify myself in this manner. Reverend Wright is his own unique person-- as is Senator Obama. Reverend Wright is not seeking any office. AND Senator Clinton if she has any morals left should stand up for the African American Church tradition, instead of attempting to use this for her own political gain.

The ends do not justify the means, unless you accept the twisting of your soul that your unethical, immoral means cause. In this Country, as Justice Louis Brandeis said -- to keep our Country free, "liberty must be the ends and liberty must be the means." Anyone still capable of hearing TRUTH amidst all of this candidate preference, please heed Justice Brandeis' words as they are as true today as they were in his own time.

Yes we can! And if we don't, goodbye to healthcare reform, hello to global warming, goodbye to good public education and we may be in World War III with Iran with either Senators Clinton or McCain.
