Who is the pro-life candiate? That's what I want to know. I like Obama, but his stance on abortion disturbs me. One of the posts here is alwasys urging voters to ignore their concerns about Roe vs. Wade, and vote for jobs. However, how will I explain to my Lord on The Day Of Judgement, that I voted for my own selfishness, rather than take a stance for the weakest of human beings, the unborn? Hillary is more of the same, and she, as well as, McCain are ready to annihilate Muslims.

Open market solutions fail for far too many people. Those people who are, by outdated government standards, obese, have had any pre-existing condition or an increased risk for anything get charged too much for medical insurance or cannot get it at all.

How do I know? I used to help health care providers connect with potential clients and even I could not get good rates.

We need a government program to bring these companies in line (or better yet get rid of them entirely). Maybe then we can also control the skyrocketing costs of healthcare.

I have seen babies with severe brain damage for want of a $15 dollar penicillin shot, woman dead after childbirth (along with their babies) for want of the inexpensive treatment of a urinary tract infection.... our infant mortality rate is 37 among industrialized modern nations.

Senator McCain's plan does NOTHING to fix this or prevent these tragedies. This costs ALL of us money -- the brain damaged children require round the clock care usually on the tax payer dime and would you put them out on the street? Babies???

Senator Clinton still has not explained to us why she turned down the healthcare deal that the Senate worked out (including Senators Dole, Moynihan and Kennedy) that would have at the very least insured some of our uninsured and brought down the cost of premiums overall.

Senator Clinton did write a private letter to Senator Moynihan apologizing for her intransigence on the healthcare issue, but she has not explained this publically.

Pittsburgher, while I respect your opinion on the immorality of abortion, the truth is, it doesn't matter where the Presidential candidates stand on this issue. When the Supreme Court justices overturn Roe vs Wade (the court case where it was determined that abortion laws violate a woman's privacy), then it will simply be up to each state to determine the law. In any case, the President will have nothing to do with making abortion illegal. So, I sugest you use another moral criteria to determine your vote, such as, which candidate will make sure all children have health insurance (hint: that would be a Democrat.)
