I don't want a "fighter" in the White House, I want a "leader". The last debate told me all I need to know, he was gracious to her and her gaffes, while she went for the jugular.

No matter how the "values" voters vote, the gay population will still be 5-10% of the population and they will be living among us as tax paying productive members of society.

No matter how the "values" voters vote, abortion will still be available, for the poor it will be "back alley" and risky, for the rich it will be overseas. The goal is to make it rare by sensibly teaching prevention along with morals.

No matter how the "liberal" voters vote, prayer will still be said in school, especially before tests and sporting events.

No matter how the "liberal" voters vote, the second amendment will still allow lawful gun ownership.

So this time, Vote with your head, vote for the economy, vote for the environment, vote for jobs.

He also told the group the Obama was "writing off Florida" and that the only hope to win the state in November was with a Clinton nomination. Ickes comes up regularly for these outreach sessions.

Whenever I think of Florida politics these days, I think of the scene of the 2000 recount -- people unable to properly count votes, follow rules, and angry picketing and shouting. This just confirms my impression that they can't seem to do what the rest of the country manages to do, which is vote in a calm and orderly process, following the established rules, whatever that may be.

They are talking to the wrong people - they should be mad at Hillary - Clearly Hillary and her husband are VERY influential in the Democratic party - why didn't they do something to stand up for Florida's voters BEFORE it became a crisis. They certainly could have - they saw this coming, they signed agreements, they had absolutely NO problem with it...Why didn't they speak up sooner?

The answer is that Hillary assumed Florida voters would be unimportant and she was unconcerned with their primary not counting because she presumed that she would run away with the nomination. She didn't.

NOW she is very concerned about them....she is stirring up all kinds of turmoil, blaming Obama, blaming the DNC, and blaming everyone else - for something SHE could have helped to avoid.

Please remember, it is not only Rev. Wright and Barack Obama who were exploited. We have all been exploited - democrats, republicans, independents - by the mainstream media.

For example, take Mike Huckabee. I dont know if this is true, but I read an article which stated that Gov. Huckabee nurtured a relationship with America's largest white supremacist group, the Council of Conservative Citizens back before he became famous. Did the pundits investigate him? Evidently. Hes always offering his thoughts all over cable. And if this story is true, do you honestly believe Huckabee is a threat to our country in any way? Neither was Rev. Wright. As a matter of fact, of the two, I prefer Rev. Wright.

Sean Hannity, Bill OReilly, Joe Scarborough, Pat Buchanan, David Gregory, Chris Matthews - I can no longer tell one from the other.

This was never about tearing Rev. Wright down. It was about tearing Senator Barack Obama down.

And there is not one person in this country who is taking a stand against this BS.

I'm a Floridian and I voted in the primary; everyone here knew that our votes wouldn't count. We knew the rules going in.

This display is contrived as it is pathetic. Hillary also knew that Florida's vote wouldn't count at the convention. The only people who are complaining are Hillary supporters.

Or to state it differntly, if Hillary were winning, they would not be complaining. This is a stunt to bring about a political end -- A Clinton win.

All this fake umbrage of "disenfrachisment" is a ploy and it's offensive. Considering the turbulent past of votes not counting here in Florida, for Clinton to play this card and reopen old wounds is just plain sick.

Shouldn't Floridians be angry at their state's elected politicians who made the decision to jump ahead with an early primary despite warnings that their votes would not be counted? What's not to understand? How can Floridians be angry at Dean and the DNC? Rules need to be followed, and actions have consequences. Otherwise, the DNC would be rendered powerless to enforce any rules in future primaries? A 50/50 split will allow Florida's delegates into the convention. It's fair, and lesson learned (I hope).

The real root of this problem is our adversion to spanking. Now kids know they can do anything they want without serious consequence - at least nothing more serious than a "time out." So they act like kids without consequences. They "demand" things they want.

Those kids grow up into adults who "demand" things they want.

Florida wanted to be early. The two organizations which oversee those events - the Democratic and Republican Parties - said no. Both explained the consequences of breaking rules. The Democratic Party consequences were more severe, but still fully advertised ahead of the fact.

Florida "demanded" getting it way.

Consequences occurred.

Now Florida is "demanding" those consequences be reversed.

The parties need to uphold their stated rules and consequences, if for no other reason to not expedite the continuing slide of our society into childishness.

First, unfortunately for the Florida voters, there really is no one to blame, but the Florida DNC who knowingly broke the rules.

Second, it continues to amaze me how conveniently forgetful certain campaigns are with respect to their agreement that neither Florida nor Michigan would count if they each held their primaries early. The rules are the rules. Period. End of story. The only possible resolution would be to evenly split the delegates in both states. The argument that both Senator Clinton's and Obama's names were on the Florida ballot and therefore Florida should count is a flawed argument because unlike Senator Clinton, most voters didn't know anything about Senator Obama at the time of the Florida primary.

Finally, the only reason why a campaign would insist on counting the delegates, after agreeing not to, is not only an act of desperation, but seems to be a way to make Senator Obama unelectable should he be the Democratic nominee.

They should be complaining to their state governments that sanctioned the illegal primaries. It's unfortunate but their states didn't follow the rules. It's ironic that they felt they had to move their primaries earlier to have a say, but in the end it was not necessary, they would have had a say regardless.

Those in Florida who are upset that they had there convention votes taken away only have to look inthe mirror to figure out who is to blame. Oh goodie.... more nonsense about Florida (and Michigan). Clinton supporters: I know that you want FL & MI counted because it will help Hillary's numbers. I respect that and I also respect the idea that FL & MI's voters are peeved at their current situation.

I'm writing as a small reminder that it is NOT Barack Obama's fault. It is the fault of the legislatures in FL & MI for not following the rules set forth (with which EVERY other state complied) by the DNC.

I do hope the votes are counted in some way - but please do not blame Obama if they are not counted to your satisfaction.
