On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, McCain called it “disturbing” that a generic Republican loses by 18 points in the NBC/WSJ poll. But he blamed the negative overall environment for Republicans on spending, which he called “out of control.” He went on to say it

McCain: Raising taxes?

McSame is so desparate for someone to vote for him, he'll promise them ANYTHING, no matter the cost to taxpayers. Sounds like a GOP caracature of a Democrat!

McCain: Raising taxes?

http://twocanpete.blogspot.com/
Hello Mr. Warmonger! It's an unfair disadvantage for companies trying to compete in a global market. The people who most need health care are too sick to work.

Anyone who thinks a tax credit will solve the problem has never had serious medical bills. The average cost of first-time treatment for an uncomplicated case of childhood leukemia (the most common childhood cancer) is $200,000. That's not something most people can save up for.

And don't think you can count on your insurance to cover it. They will do anything they can to weasel out of paying. When my 2 year-old was diagnosed with cancer, we were bombarded with letters and phone calls telling us to "get her asthma under control" because we were visiting the doctor "too frequently." After she completed chemotherapy, we received notices about her "monthly visits to the doctor", asking if she need help with her pregnancy. She was five years old!
