The superdelegates are smart... Both Clinton or Obama will trounce McCain in the upcoming election. The only risk they face is tearing the party apart if Obama wins the most delegates, but has the nomination taken away from him based on a few points in a poll that is taken 6 months before election day. A 1968-like scene in Denver would be devestating, and could affect up and down ballot races very negatively.

Bill Clinton keeps putting down the 14 caucus states.

These states chose to save millions in taxpayer dollars and hold caucuses. Bill and Hillary are saying these 14 states do not matter.

Here is a list of states the Clintons have upset:
Iowa, Nevada, Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Washington, Maine, Hawaii, Texas, and Wyoming.

All of these states, Bill Clinton has said will vote Republican.

That's right, Bill Clinton has said the Democrats should give up on Colorado (site of the Democratic National Convention)?

The Clintons recent comments have caused major problems for Democrats from these states.

Remember, the Democrats lost control of the House, Senate, and Governorship while the Clintons were in the white house.

What if he was a black woman? Or what if he was a Chinese vegetarian? Hmmmmm..... If he was a White man he would be a guy running for president with less than one term in the Senate with absolutely no legislation to his credit.... Like John Edwards a great guy but not ready for the office.

One thing for sure, if he was white he would still have 90% of the black vote because race doesn't matter.

Interesting statement in lieu of the fact that the will of this particular super delegate's constituency in Ohio was/is for Hillary Clinton to be the nominee.
If the super delegates go along with the will of the people, shouldn't HE be supporting Hillary since she won the Ohio primary?
Or, do "the rules' only apply when the benefit Obama?
This is exactly the kind of hypcrissy Hillary's camapaign has faced all throughout this primary cycle.
If I were her, and I didn't get the nomination, and Obama's people and/or the Democratic party came looking for an endorsement....I would tell them to SHOVE IT!

Hillary has lost. Sure she 'could' win as a long-shot. But that requires a vicious mud-fight from all sides. And if so, she would never hold the respect of the average American--not with the baggage she already has.

In the wake of 5 years since mission accomplished the only anchors on MSNBC who gave this real coverage were Keith and Matthews.
I think Joe S and David Gregory have become Clinton talking heads. They continually talk about a dead subject that has nothing to do with How Obama will govern.
WHY? Because they have nothing else to report. They have become just like FOX and CNN. Lets report a scandal all day long eventhough its really nothing.
Hillary cant even work a coffee machine or a gas pump and that got NO COVERAGE. One of her backers baited The Rev to Implode on TV and that got no coverage.
If Obama had done any one of those things it would be on the news 24 - 7.
Almost everyone is now using Clinton talking points.

Where is the balance???
Now Clinton is Mrs Tough Girl?? Lets be real. She was the front runner from day one. She is now losing and everyone has now shifted to piling on Obama.
Have we all forgotten that she was the favorite and that she is losing??

And for all the "so called" Christians and Catholics who are sitting in judgement of Obama because he gave his Former Pastor a chance to redeem himself, maybe you all need to take a look at yourselves before you judge Obama for doing the Right thing as a good man and an honest person.
These same people will fogive Bill Clinton for cheating on his wife, lying about it, losing both houses of Congress and getting IMPEACHED but sit and judge Obama for trying to be a good person.

This is why this country is such a disaster. Nobody takes the time to see what people are really about. They just listen to sound bites and rumor.
Its a sad day in The USA when over 4000 US soldiers have died for nothing, many of them are trying to committ suicide, the gov is not giving them proper care, there are food shortages world wide and the top story for days has been The Rev Wright.

Is that what we should do to win...convince the superdelegates that more of us would stay home if our candidate is not the nominee. How interesting.

That the superdelegates would show more allegiance to white working class Reagan "democrats" who sway with the wind, then they would to many of us historically blue blue blue Democrats is a troubling prospect.

I would say to the superDs, if you want to favor people who are never completely with you over people who historically have been but may bolt forever if they feel you dissed them, then go do it.

And expect many fewer Dems on the rolls for the forseeable future.

That watch the Republicans continue to pander to the Reagan Dems with Congressional races in 2010 and in 2012 and see how much of your base Dem support you have then.

Not trying to sound negative, trying to point out the ridiculousness in the argument.

Its a funny thing about loyalty and how fast you can get disenchanted voters back...
