From NBC/NJ's Mike MemoliINDIANAPOLIS -- Hillary Clinton said this morning that she does not regret her strong language about an attack on Iran, and also slammed the “elite opinion” of her proposal for a gas tax holiday.

Every time this supposed tax "holiday" has been tried, it has resulted in higher gas prices from higher consumption. In the process the infrastructure will suffer. Clinton has already earmarked the so called "windfall profits tax" to other projects. This information came out in her interview on ABC this morning. So she could not replace the infrastructure funds. Pandering at its best.
Unfortunately, the gentleman you mentioned would ultimately not benefit from a gas tax rebate. The oil company or suppliers would inch the price up on a weekly basis, just as they do now. When the tax was reinstated, do you think the companies would reduce their incremental increases over the life of the tax rebate? Of course not.
This is why all the economic experts are against this bogus idea.
This is the Clinton campaign: bogus ideas, pandering to special interests, and lobbyists, and misleading the American people.

Hillary on ABC

Very good interview. Hillary has Solutions. His negatives are rapidly rising with the Wright, Rezko, Auchi, Khalidi, radical Kenyan, African leader Raila Odinga (Obama's cousin??) who wants to instill Sharia law (woman, take note) Ayers and Dorhrn and various other unaswered questions about him remain.

Obama has not told the truth about his relationship with William Ayers and Bernardine Dorhrn, both domestic terrorists from the radical Weather Underground, both of whom would likely be and should be serving life prison sentences for their crimes had the FBI not bungled their cases. Both Dorhn and Ayers were on the FBI most wanted list for over a decade and lived in hiding. They have taken credit for bombings in the U.S. in New York and Wash DC.

Obama claimed that Ayers was "just a guy who lived in his neighborhood". Not exactly. Obama worked for Ayers for over 8 years, Obama was hired by Ayers to be the director of the Annenberg Challenge in Chicago which Ayers created to poison the minds of young people with his anti-American sentiments. Obama worked with Ayers for years on the board of the Woods Foundation in Chicago, Obama worked with Dorhn along with Michelle Obama at the law firm of Sidley and Austin in Chicago whose major client was Commonwealth Edison, where Wm Ayers father was CEO. HMM. Obama worked for the Education Leadership Board in Chicago with Ayer's brother and father. Dorhn and Ayers held a fundraiser in their home in Hyde Park to introduce Obama when he first ran for office.

Ayers lives off the public dollar as a University of Illinois Professor (can you imagine THIS guy teaching your children his anti-American crap? WOW! Ayers profits from the very government he has railed against for over 40 years, the very government he has called to overthrow. Ayers has lives off his wealthy family while calling for "young people to kill their rich parents, capitalist pigs". He's a total hypocrite.

Dorhn is a law professor (she can't get a license to practice law because of her past crimes and jail time) at Northwestern Law School Family Law Center. Can you believe that? I now think MUCH less of Northwestern. Parents, students and alums take note.

Both Ayers and Dorhn are apparently still unrepentent for the terrorist acts, only wishing "they had done more".

Ayers and Dorhn should be in prison, at the very least they should be shunned by society, not rewarded. They should NOT be considered "respected members of society". They are NOT worthy.

Why does Obama hang with THESE people?

*VOTE SMART! VOTE PATRIOTIC! VOTE HILLARY CLINTON!

If the Dems fail to nominate Hillary, vote McCain in NOvember. We are supposed to belive that every good thing that happened in the Clinton Whitehouse she had a hand in, Yet she tries to distance herself from things that went wrong. Hillary can't have it both ways, she never opposed Nafta until she saw that it became a politcal liabilty.
Hillary also voted for war in Iraq and never opposed the war until she saw that it too became a politcal liability. Whatever you think about Obama at least he says something and sticks too it. Both Hillary and Mccain no very well that the money that federal gas taxes bring in, pay for the repair of our roads and bridges. Remember Minnieapolis last year. We can not affoard to continue to neglect our infustructure and expect our roads and bridges to hold up. Not only that but the construction industry depends upon the jobs created to make repairs to roads and bridges. What Hillary and Mccain will do is to hurt not only our infustructure but also our constuction workers and their families. Just as in the case with the war in Iraq Hillary and Mccain are playing to popular sentiment instead of what is best for the American people. Thats typical of Washignton style politics. In order for this "proposal" to make any practical sense, the Congress would have to pass a bill that would have to be signed into law by the president to suspend the gas tax. Hillary has said she would pay for it with a windfall profits tax on big oil. The reality is that Speaker Pelosi has already stated that no gas tax bill would be debated so the issue is Dead On Arrival. As for the windfall profits tax, do you really think a president that is in bed with big oil will sign a windfall profits tax into law?
So, not only do economist agree that this is bad policy, it is something that would impossible to put into effect for this summer, hence the "pandering" charges.

Hillary on ABC

I'm glad to know HRC got equal time to the Obama interview on MTP. I still have to ask my more forgiving husband to watch it to make sure she was as arrogant and illogical as I thought she was, but there were three things that stood out for me. Now I am an Obama supporter, so I might not be the most objective person, but here goes.

Statement 1: Those elitist economists, what the hell do they know!!! Take that NYT's and fave dream date Krugman! You elitist you! Notice she didn't mention her Shell Oil person who did support her plan!

Statement 2: In the last 7 years, the wealth went to the top 10% and that is so unfair! Uhhhh. Hill, aren't you and Bill one that reaped the rewards of the system? My God, you have made 107 million, much of it from China, Colombia, and Dubai. Doesn't this bother anyone in the press?

Statement 3:She has spent her whole life helping minorities. Excuse me? If I hear that bit about the Children's Defense Fund, where she worked for less than a year, I might swear off tv forever; and then she joined a law firm and did not work on any civil rights cases while in Arkansas, and also didn't speak up against union-busting WalMart while serving on their board...am I missing something?

I will obliterate Iran if they attack Israel, or Saudi Arabia, or Turkey, or who knows?...well I can't even say anything more about that baby. That fact that Clinton could make the statement that "George and I actually were against NAFTA"...“I'm talking about him in his previous life, before he was an objective journalist and didn't have opinions about such matter..." insults the intelligence of the American people and the journalism profession. The dishonesty preys on people being clueless about the facts. George Stephanopoulos was the de facto press secretary for Pres. Bill Clinton when he signed NAFTA into law in 1993 - he is NOT an objective journalist. Hillary Clinton was holding meetings with business interests cheerleading NAFTA and NAFTA passed with a _Democratic majority_ in Congress. Now she suggests she and George were _against_ NAFTA?!? How long can this continue? For truth's sake, our media needs to grow a pair and STAND UP and confront these blatant lies head on!! The viablility of our democracy relies on truthful reporting by our media. If doctors in our nation performed at the level of professionalism that folks in our media are exhibiting today - tabloid journalism at best - our mortality rate would be worse than that of a third world nation!

Clinton's "obliteration" statement about Iran is troubling, even worse than McCain's "bomb, bomb Iran" talk. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have died in a war initiated by the United States on the false claim that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (WMD). These are human beings like ourselves, with children, families and loved ones. And now we have Sen. Clinton threatening to "obliterate" Iran with the implicit threat of use of WMDs!! I thought she was the same person who said months ago (a) in chiding Obama said someone running for president should not tell the world all their thoughts with regards to foreign policy and (b) said that she didn't like to engage in hypotheticals - why didn't she follow her own advice and refuse to answer the hypothetical question?

Hillary on ABC

Obama was the media favorite when it didn't seem like he had a snowball's chance in hell of winning. That's a shame.

Let's talk about closing the deal..What happened to Hillary thet came into this race with everything on her side including her former perz husband.

She's the one that couldn't close the deal

She needs to stop insulting the so called blue collar workers that don't understand legislator by buying their votes with $28.00 for Summer.
I have lost respect for the Clintons.
