Surely, if Hillary had won, I would want her policy--not McCains! It doesn't matter that I find Hillary completely repulsive, and dishonest. Her policies are sound, and they are very close to Obama's, and they well help Americans! And they will help my friends, the soldiers! And they will help us all!
Those Policies will help our education and our economy. Those policies will determine and define all of us.

The rich, are rich for a reason. Special interest lobby for a reason. Politicians accept money from special interests for a reason! Obama's policies, the same in many ways as Clinton's policies, are this contry's great chance to change the course of our dependence on oil, on special interest, and on dirty politics in general. It's time to have a little discipline and not act like a spoiled brat.

I think that oil will be this cycle's GOP scare tactic for their fear machine. Some economists have mentioned $10/gal gas. Carl Rove has already said:

"If we were to give up Iraq with the third largest oil reserves in the world to the control of an Al Qaida regime or to the control of Iran, don't you think $200 a barrel oil would have a cost to the American economy?"

It seems probable that the GOP will try to scare the public into a mindset that the only way we can hold onto our money is by holding onto Iraq.

We have to get prepared to show that this administration's (and McCain's) policies are the reason for the problem, not the solution.

I agree. Florida and Michigan are already pissed off (and probably lost to Obama in the fall. Being a Floridian myself and being called "stupid" by Obama during one of his stump speeches speaking to a crowd about Florida voters a few months back, didn't help him with Florida voters.) It would not be a good idea to "piss off" voters in the remaining 7 contests by telling them they don't have say in this race. Hillary should stay in until ALL Americans have had a chance to vote. Sen. Clinton keeps mentioning seating the Florida and Michigan delegations proportional to her margins of "victory" in those 2 states. But that would net her no more than maybe 30 or 35 delegates. First Read.....may I ask what your point is?
There is NO similarity at all between Huckabee and Hillary, just as there is no similarity in their statements.
She won more than ten primaries (among them New York, California, Ohio, Penn., Mass, Indiana, Texas, Florida etc., etc., etc.). She also has somewhere near 1700 delegates. Huckabee didn't accomplish either of those things and his remarks were conveluted and not concise like Hillary's.
You people will say and do ANYTHING to put Hillary down, and prop Obama up. You will go to any length to regurgitate and promote the Obama campaign line.
You have totally prostituted yourselves and propagandized in such a way that would have made Joseph Goebbles proud.
For these reasons I WILL NOT vote for Obama come November....and First Read, for my part, can go straight to hell.
