Spelling out a Senate seat

If you're an Illinois lawmaker hoping for an appointment to fill Barack Obama's vacated Senate seat, a few things might help to get Gov. Rod Blagojevich on your side. Offer some positive publicity for the unpopular governor, perhaps, and maybe be open to the possibility of a full-term run in 2010.

Another thing that might be helpful: Spell his name right.

Per a press release from the office of Rep. Danny Davis, an African-American congressman considered one of the front-runners for the appointment, Illinois supporters will be holding an event today to "announce their support and urge Governor Blagojavich to appoint Congressman Danny K. Davis to replace President-Elect Obama as U. S. Senator."

Whoops.

The correct spelling is Blagojevich.

Gov. Blagojevich also accepts cash. The more the better. If you give him enough, you could be the next Senator from the Great State of Illinois.

I do hope our governor does the right thing.
Illinois is such a political,diasterous mess,
politics, grudges etc must, for once, be put aside
and the person most representing Barack Obama's
policies, beliefs must be named.

And the correst spelling of Barack Obama is Brok O. Bomba. Hussein was given to him as a nickname, in honor of Sadam, now dead and so Brok wants you to forget his nick. His middle name is actually Orville.

Ow, misspelling his name can be a faux-pas. I hope that he can at least pronounce his name properly. This might not endear him to the governor, but I look at it this way: how many have spelled it correctly? Not many I am sure.

Again this is a States Rights issue, and nationally it is nice to know for future reference as needed. Is "Puppet Palin" trying to spell words read, or said to her correctly again? I am so sorry. Was I being sarcastic again?? Gee! I guess I was. How about that! What a joke!

That's okay, I see lots of spelling and grammar errors on this blog. Most are from the media people. Getting paid to write doesn't mean one has to write right, right?
