Waxman hospitalized

Confirming here that Henry Waxman was admitted yesterday to Cedars-Sinai. His committee spokeswoman in Washington says he "felt unwell" and was "admitted for routine testing."

Waxman remains as a patient at the hospital, but "is feeling much better now," says spokeswoman Karen Lightfoot.

When last seen in Washington, Waxman managed the energy bill through the House for that close vote late last Friday. As chairman of the powerful Energy and Commerce committee, he has jurisdiction over both the energy bill and the health care bill.

Waxman ousted fellow Democrat John Dingell, the longest serving member of the House in American history, as chair of the committee last January.

Don’t worry, Waxman will have a private room and no taxpayer expense will be spared. Fly in specialists if necessary. No generic drugs for him!

But with National Health Care, crumbs for you and your family as you sit next to an illegal alien in a public hospital.

Welcome to Barack’s Hope and Change!
Get well soon.

Am I the only one that things these two things aren't 'logically' connected?

Energy and Commerce?  This lumping together of 'unlike' terms is perhaps what leads to so much of the corruption we see?  No committee should be SO powerful,...just my opinion.

I hope that all will continue to be well.....
What is with all these Decmocrats getting hurt. First Sotomayor, then Billary, now the Wax man? I think karma is at work here.

Wish the Wax man good health.
Henry had to have been under considerable stress.  I trust he will recover.  In the past two weeks we have lost a number of celebrities.  Some say politicians are celebrities who are less attractive.  I worry about Kennedy, Byrd, and Ruth Ginsberg.  They will likely stay in office until they pass on. Sometimes we forget how hard these leaders have worked to serve our country.
Gods revenge. First Jackson, now Waxman.
Old Democrats never retire from Congress, they just die off.
Did they discover that Waxman is really a ferret?
First McMahon, Farrah, Jackson, Billy Mays and ...
well, let's hope there's nothing wrong with Waxman.
I guess this rat ate some bad cheese! HA HA!
FR: " Waxman As chairman of the powerful Energy and Commerce committee, he has jurisdiction over both the energy bill and the health care bill. "

Oh, Waxman is in hog heaven being on thoe two committees. He loves spending money, other people's money. Look at his state, his district, both in debt hell, and it's not getting better anytime soon. But ol'Henry just keeps on spending.

Here's hoping the best for Henry though, you don't want to see people be ill. He should be proud he's being served by the best medicine the world has to offer. Ironic though isn't it? It's the very system he's trying to destroy.
This isn't directed at any one; just a thought:

On the news that Americans have become even MORE obese; perhpas we could implement a "FAT" tax.  Charge punitive taxes on Fast Food and Junk Food.  We do it with alcohol and tobacco.  And perhaps it can help pay for universal/public healthcare option.

Just thinking out loud here,...
Waxman has the BoBo Flu.

You get it from spending trillions you dont have!

Poll: Democrats Seen as 'Too Liberal' .

A Gallup Poll finds a statistically significant increase since last year in the percentage of Americans who describe the Democratic Party's views as being "too liberal," from 39% to 46%. This is the largest percentage saying so since November 1994, after the party's losses in that year's midterm elections. Most major demographic and attitudinal subgroups show at least a slight uptick since 2008 in perceptions that the Democratic Party is too liberal.

Dems better keep spending quickly - because, like their checkbook, their support is becoming bankrupt
Henry got a look at the problems California is having and he got ill. Because the way that state is run is how Waxman, Pelosi, and Obama are trying to run the country. You can't keep spending money and not have the entire system collapse from under you. Henry sees it in California. Smart people see it for the rest of the country. Henry just got smart apparently.
Speaking of the "so called" energy bill. More democrat culture of corruption. 3.5 billion for one vote.

He's probably just feeling guilty for spending his grandkids money on healthcare for the illegals.

Jobs, Jobs and Jobs...
No, None and Never...
Thanks to BoBo

Hey you leftist wackos - have you had your drink of BoBo Berry Kool-Aid today?

Bush = slight recession
BoBo = another Great Depression
Here's how Waxman got one vote for his crap and trade bill: Ohio Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur was not going to vote for Cap and Trade, so Waxman promised to infuse $3.5 billion into her district, under her control, if she voted for Cap and Trade. Heck, I'm as conservative as they come, but I'd get real liberal if someone pushed $3.5 billion across the table to me.

One question. Who is going to pay for that?
Apparently Waxman got weak because he hadn't sucked enough blood out of the taxpayers.
My best wishes for a full and speedy recovery go out to Henry Waxman.  I bet he doesn't have to worry that his taxpayer paid government plan won't get in the way between him and his doctor.

Hey Jonathan Flint, MI - I hereby give you permission to crticize Democratic (and thanks for spelling it correctly) policies.  Dang dude here at MSNBC we are not like the fox and freaks propaganda website where dissent is never posted.  Now don't be surprised if one of us takes what you say to task like I did last week when you were regurgitating fox and freaks propaganda that the bushwhacker was a Liberal and pushed liberal policies.  He was pushing the concepts of your repugnant one's party of cheapskates (libertarians).

Get Well Soonest Waxman!
Waxman took one look at his "pig" nose and felt "unwell"!!! The hospital is going to do a nose job on him so people will not call him "Nostrilman"!!Americans should boycott the 2010 census to make Congress stop illegal immigration! If you want to get the attention of Congress, boycott the 2010 census!!
Get well soon congressman, our country needs dedicated servants like yourself.
Maybe knowing that the EPA muted a gov't report criticizing Global Warming/Climate change and how it's defended has Mr Waxman feeling a bit queasy.  More gov't control of truth and facts.  Just like the Obama team controlling the media questions and town hall questions.  Just like when they only half-reported on interrogation techniques by ignoring all the benefits they provide.  ARe we 100% communist yet?
to everyone here spitting hate and outrageous comments.....remember to post when your family members have trauma or emergencies so you can feel the same love you dish out.
Or at least hear your own words back at you.
