Palin hearts the RGA

From NBC's Domenico Montanaro
Sarah Palin is weighing in again from her perch as conservative sage, urging voters to support Chris Christie in New Jersey, Bob McDonnell in Virginia and... the Republican Governors Association.

"Like other independent Americans, I don’t always see eye-to-eye with Republican political committees, so when I tell you that the Republican Governors Association has my complete support and confidence in its campaign efforts back East, know that I really mean it," Palin wrote. "The RGA is helping lead the conservative comeback beginning this year, and its involvement in the East Coast races is significant. I hope you'll support these efforts, which are vital to the cause for America's freedom and prosperity."

By the way, the former Alaska governor apparently penned the 589-word Facebook "Note" from a freshmen girls basketball game.

Boring game? No. She was "struck by the sight of America's future right in front of me -- these tenacious young women full of energy and intensity. I want them to realize every opportunity this great, free nation can provide. ... The young student athletes I'm watching right now are counting on us to do the right thing -- to fight for what is right for America today and into their future. Electing candidates with common sense and respect for freedom is one way we can fight for what is right."

Still, it couldn't have been THAT great a game if she's writing this from there. Nonetheless, the RGA isn't complaining. Think there'll be a spike in contributions in their next FEC report, coinciding with Oct. 27th.

Oh please, given her disastrous interviews, are we really supposed to think she is intelligent enough to put together such well constructed sentences?
"Electing candidates with common sense and respect for freedom is one way we can fight for what is right."

*******************************************
Oh yea, then that would exclude her. Sarah Palin is too dumb to even realize what she is saying.
"U.S. official resigns over war in Afghanistan
Foreign Service officer: GIs dying for what is essentially a foreign civil war

But many Afghans, he wrote in his resignation letter, are fighting the United States largely because its troops are there — a growing military presence in villages and valleys where outsiders, including other Afghans, are not welcome and where the corrupt, U.S.-backed national government is rejected. While the Taliban is a malign presence, and Pakistan-based al-Qaeda needs to be confronted, he said, the United States is asking its troops to die in Afghanistan for what is essentially a far-off civil war."

AMEN!! I hope President Obama and the WH are listening!!

Thank you, Matthew Hoh; you are a brave man, a smart man!!

When the chips are down for the Democrats - bring up Palin!
I thought one of President Obama's great abilities was that he could multi-task.
Another day, another news cycle for Silly Sarah.  Doesn't take much to become the center of news.

Keep the GOP in turmoil.  Keep moving right...right over the edge.
Oh, please.  This nonsense that only republicans love freedom is getting old.  Democrats love freedom too and not just the kind that requires everyone think like Sarah thinks.  It's the same old tactic, repubs are patriotic, dems aren't; repubs are the real Americans, dems aren't; repubs are fiscally responsible--whoops, they messed up on that one and this time, We the People noticed.
You notice that Palin is now trying to convince people that she is an independent as well as a Republican.  I think she is going to have to choose one or the other if she wants to make any headway.  Unless, of course, she's just a cynical and sleazy political amateur who doesn't merit the media attention she's being given.
Bravo, Sarah!!  Well said.

And thanks, FR - - I like to sit back and watch the lefties salivate and spew hate at the very mention of Palin.  Too funny how scared of her they are.  Better hurry up and post the hate comments from Fruity Redhead before her head explodes.
that's funny, I thought she was fighting for the young women of America to be barefoot and pregnant?  I guessed I 'missed' her memo.  It's always charming when someone feels the need to double qualify their endorsement.  As if all previous endorsements were the phony ones; but THIS one is the one intended.  I'd tell her to not quit her day job; but I guess it is a little too late for that?

------------
Tim, I will say good luck to you - but I can't root for the Yankees.  I am in the camp of "Anyone But"-sorry, I know some are passionate about it.  I have to send my husband's cousin my famous Pecan Pie - 'cuz my Angels didn't get it done.  Oh well!
"The young student athletes I'm watching right now are counting on us to do the right thing -- to fight for what is right for America today and into their future. Electing candidates with common sense and respect for freedom is one way we can fight for what is right."

------------------------------------------------

How about we also elect candidates who won't QUIT half way through their term?

If you want to do what is right for America, Mrs. Palin, I suggest you sit back and leave this whole governing thing to the grown-ups.

You call it a 'thumb on the scale' but reputable news sites report that VERY FEW conservatives will actually tell a pollster they are a Republican.  How's that for "Brand Tarnishment"?  Couldn't happen to a nicer group of folks, in my opinion.
----------------
Feisty, can I get some extra salt over here?  This whole Conservative versus Republican Brand War is SO entertaining.
Dem's are going down, time to put America back on track, the voters have seen enough of what the Dem's are doing and they don't like it. sucks to be a lib doesn't it
Sarah was trashed, smeard and attacked viciously but she has grace and thick skin. Obama, you should learn sth. from her.
Oh, and one more snark about 'family' values:

So Palin is one of "those" moms who thinks it is more important to plug into Facebook than to cheer on her child?

Kinda' figures, though, doesn't it?  Why bother 'showing' up, unless it's just for show?
Feisty and Jody: The rightwing nuts are out in force. They get that way when they are losing.

Who really cares what Sarah Palin thinks?  An almost-one-term governor and failed VP candidate.  My yardmans opinion has just as much if not more sway than anything palin has to say.
She doesn't respect freedom!
Could we have a poll question about who likes ice cream? And if the numbers look good, can Congress have a trillion dollar program making sure we get a couple gallons of ice cream everyday?

The problem is:  you think you're voting for triple chocolate but all they offer is crap-flavored.
Thanks, Sarah. That's the best news Corzine has gotten since the report that his seat belt didn't work. (It couldn't fit around his wallet.)

I always knew Christie was a typical supply-sider now this added anti-endorsement should put Corzine over the top. Not that he is a favorite of mine.

Isn't Palin in the Guiness Book of Records as being the first person to ever write a book before having read one???

Go YANKEES...
Meanwhile......October is the deadliest month in Afghanistan since the war started.
You keep on with your usual BS about how elections have consequences. When "pure" conservatives are back in power (and they will be, it goes in circles)we will see how you feel when everything is getting reversed.

What’s the matter?  Did you miss your anger management class again today?

And as for ‘pure’ conservatives EVER regaining anything other than the title ‘FANATICITAL FREAKS’… well… I say what ever HELPS you get through the day!

May that delusion bring you some much needed comfort... lol lol lol

It’s NEVER going to happen!
MSNBC says :"Nonetheless, the RGA isn't complaining. Think there'll be a spike in contributions in their next FEC report, coinciding with Oct. 27th."
--------------------------------------
Not as big a spike in contributions if they had recently arrested billionaire broker, DNC benefactor and Tamil Tigers booster Raj Rajaratnam on their donor list like the Democrats!

MSNBC swept that one under the rug quickly. The Dems and their press lapdogs must paint all Wall Street crooks as white-shoe WASP Republicans.

For those Obama lovers who missed it:

Oct. 16, 2009
Raj Rajaratnam Big Democratic Booster Arrested

"The Democrats have lost another source of political funding. It turns out arrested hedge fund manager Raj Rajaratnam, charged in a $20 million insider trading case, has given big to the party in power.
Here are his largest cumulative contributions this decade, according to data from OpenSecrets:
• $26,700 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee
• $26,200 to the Democratic National Committee Services Corp.
• $11,100 to Hillary Clinton
• $10,000 to the New Jersey Democratic State Committee
• $4,600 to Barack Obama
• $2,000 to Charles Schumer
A Sri Lankan native, Rajaratnam gave more than $3.5 million to the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO), whose assets were frozen by the U.S. Treasury Department in Nov. 2007 because of its alleged ties to the Tamil Tigers. ABC also notes that Rajaratnam’s home was raided by the FBI in 2006 because of his ties to TRO."

Perhaps Former Governor Sarah Palin was watching the clueless Kenyan hitting small round white rocks around his African veldt, an activity so boring that she had time to write whatever the hell she pleased and whatever really displeases you.
"QUITTER"
Silly Sarah.  Oh see Silly Sarah.  Oh see Silly Sarah run.............please turn her off!
I've just decided to 'be' Bible Spice for Halloween...

I'm Going Rogue... *wink* *wink* lol lol lol
We are with you Sarah as it's time now to take our country back.
PALIN

She doesn't hold any political office and yet she carries as much influence as anyone who does.

Ms. Palin has more guts than Radical Prez himself.
Why would the left do everything they can to TRY to bring her down? Because even the whackjobs that they are KNOW she's still a threat.

Always upbeat. Always confident and always gracious ... but with the firm bite of a tiger.

Thanks Sarah, for not living in San Fran and for doing a great job in Alaska while you were there.
The dunderheads can't hate you enough for your wonderment. Dumbercraps, all of them.

And to Maureen Dowd, Botox Queen, give us a kiss, sweetie, before you write some more made up dirt on Palin.

IF EVERYONE IN AMERICA STOP COMMENT ABOUT SARA PALIN I GUARANTEE YOU MSNBC WILL STOP REPORTING ON THIS CRAZY, UNEDUCATED WOMAN.  PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT
Those young women do NOT want to emulate Sarah Palin. They don't need to be quitters, gold diggers, cheaters, or liars. They don't need to be outrageous in public speaking and they need to all get a good education so they don't end up thinking Russia can be seen from Wasilla, Alaska or that they don't read and learn what is going on in the world. Nor do they need to advocate Fascism, whether slight or complete or somewhere in between as some in high places, no longer in office, (left in January) would want.
Hey !
Why haven't Christie and McDonnell asked Palin to CAMPAIGN for them ?
Why haven't they Asked Palin to Campaign With Tem ??

She isn't like that crazy uncle that Embarrases you all the time Is She ??

Is she a leper or something ?

Why Isn't she Campaigning with Christie or McDonnell ??

Simple Sarah went to town ....
I'm amazed that the Alaskan Brood Sow has a vocabulary consisting of 589 words.  I'm sure her little essay was so very insightful and was a glorious display of her erudite writing skills. Of course, to claim her writing is so skilled, you have to count "Youbetcha" as one, multi-syllabic word.
From Think Progress:

'...Insurance Stocks Plunged As Reid Announced Public Option, Spiked After Lieberman Vowed To Filibuster It

Yesterday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) announced that he would be including a version of the public option (with a state opt-out provision) in the Senate’s final health care bill. Although all of the details of the public plan are yet to be determined, progressives cheered the move. As Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) admitted, without all the pressure that progressives in and out of Congress put on legislators, it is unlikely there would have been a public option included in Reid’s final bill.

Yet this afternoon, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) broke with the Democratic caucus that he is a member of and vowed to join a Republican-led filibuster if the public option is not removed from the bill. In response, insurance company stocks — which plummeted Monday as Reid made his announcement — shot up after Lieberman made his announcement around 1:30 pm:...'

Insurance companies are gaining Joe-mentum !!
TOOL !!

Time for Democrats to start taking notes

Pam, San Pedro, California: '...Yes it has; and as I stated above, the public option with an "opt out" is one BIG FAT COP OUT!! ...'

Pam, this is why it's so hard to even get a Public Option

But, it is gonna be tough

Hey Obie

Failure is getting to be the only option, isn't it?
Hi, folks.  Do you think my new, shorter hairdo, coupled with my wide-set eyes makes me look like a Down's Syndrome sufferer?
Please be honest, now.
This is precious AND the gift that keeps on giving all in one.
As the repubs let the far right take over their agenda (ok- I liked the sound of the word, I actually don't think they have one), it becomes more and more obvious that neither will win for a long time to come.
Say what you will about all of us Palin detractors, she's poison- every bit as lethal as the far-right that fools like Rove courted in the name of a few more votes back when.
Repubs AND Conservatives- you all deserve eachother.
Good luck.

Maybe if you weren't in such a hurry to write nothing you would have noticed that?  : )
Pam, you're reminding me more and more of Ted Kennedy when he ran against Jimmy Carter.

The liberals deserted Carter. And we ended up with Reagan.

Please keep smearing, you radiclib Palin-haters. You are turning off independents, who are abandoning the Democrat ship in droves.

They are worried about where they will get a job and how they will feed their families in this time of Obamaunist malaise. They would like to see some real solutions from your side that don't involve a more rapidly expanding federal leviathan, not seeing your personal attacks on a woman you have such a sick obsession with.

Keep Palin in the news.....every spoken word illustrates her lack of awareness, the out-of-touch issues with Americans, ignorance...leading to less Republicans than ever (down from 45% to 20%)
These messages clearly show hate note the art of conversation that geoge washington once spoke about, Gov Palin is correct in her support and her following continues to grow .Let us talk issues and not one Liners that make many of you feel satisfied. In New Jersey under the current Corzine Administration Companies have left the state in record number, more in the last four years then in the past 15 according to the Corzines dept of community affairs. They have not gone out of business but instead have gone to states that are friendlier, and more interested in creating jobs then in NJ where under Mr Corzine the business cost to do business is now the highest in the nation. 100,000.00 jobs in the past two years have gone to other states .This is directly because of a anti business climate in the state. Having said this Gov Palin is coreect then in supporting Christie. NJ is now the highest taxed state in the country and is 12 billion in debt. and Corzine has created according to the Labor Dept not one net job in 4 years. I'm sure he is decent man ,but how can any voter democrat or republican vote for him this time around. Failure in the case of Corzine should not and can't not be rewarded. The companies did not go out of business they left the state because of the climate created by the current administration.
