CLINTON TO MEET WITH ABBAS, NETANYAHU

Has Hillary been briefed on who is who? Wouldn't want that little item to be a problem again.
Has anybody here changed their mind about Obama yet? It is a hard sell for those of you who hate him for being really intelligent. My perspective if you may is that I leave for work at 6:30 am every morning and get home about 4:00 pm depending on traffic, I try to catch up on the days event so that I will stay informed, which ultimately leads me to read comments posted on FR. The tone of republicans/conservatives is that of a broken record. I absolutely know what they are going to say. So predictable that a shocker will be a comment lacking in rants. Of course these rants need to be tackled because the mantra for republicans have been that if you say something false too many times, you start to believe it as truth. As most of you here knows, we all still have lives to lead and feel the impact of others trying to live as well. If the Bush administration benefited you financially, good for you, but if you were just like me working hard to keep up with demands of living, then it is logical for me to expect the tone of your comments to be thoughtful and respectful. To all you bloggers tamping down these conservative morons, you must be good at playing Whack-a-mole and to think you are going to be doing this until 2016 frightens the heck out of me. All I can say is God Speed.

I love your posts, Feisty; however, I think this needs to go away!! Gates did some wrong things and said some wrong things; Crowley got far to out of hand when he cuffed him and took him away!! President Obama spoke out before he knew the facts, and the entire debacle should be left alone IMHO!!

I only wish when my then seven-year-old twin daughters were abducted by their father, taken to a foreign country, I was treated as the criminal and no one would help, I could have received such treatment from the WH!! But I got nothing, zero, nada, zilch!!

I had to go to the Middle East and find my own way to bring my children home!! And I don't want to hear about people having a beer when it was BOTH that acted wrong!!

I'm sorry, Feisty; it's just how I feel about this!! Seven-year-old little girls were stripped of their civil rights and taken to a foreign country and no one would help; yet civil rights in this issue is given wall-to-wall media coverage and an invitation to the WH!!

Something is VERY wrong with this picture!!
Pakistan must have got tired of her and thrown her out early, so now Hil has some extra time on her hands.
Hillary Clinton is doing a superb job as Secretary of State; Rice did nothing for four years as SOS; you’ve done more in ten months!! The world respects you!!

Thank you, SOS Clinton; I wish you the best of luck; and as you have always done, when knocked down by a cruel media and people who have disliked you for no reason, you have picked yourself up, dusted yourself off, and marched on for the good of our country!!

I salute you!!
Food is not a priveledge, it is a human right to be able to eat.  By denying food, you deny a persons right to survive.  Your lifespan is shortened when you do not have access to basic food.  We are the fastest growing economy that ever was, but yet we cannot provide basic fundamentals that will not only drive down costs in the long run, but will make us more productive as a nation.

Greg, YOU ROCK!! You said it all!!

Cable tv is a right too. You deadbeats want that given to you free next?
Rusty Follicles:

You're right, it was Jesse, not Juan.

Sorry, Juan. I tried to correct with a follow-up a couple of minutes later, but it didn't post.

And in the interest of full disclosure, I also included a smartass remark about posters getting their aliases mixed up, fully implying that there isn't much difference between Jesse and Juan.

Does that work for ya Rusty?
C in PA:

You sound just like almost all of the liberal bloggers here.
We often complain about Congress, Presidents, Sec of States, etc. but there aren't many of us who could keep up with them nor would be want to try.  We may work long hours but most of us come home in the evening, relax and spend time with families.  It's easy for us to armchair quarterback, criticize, and demand immediate action but Government doesn't work that way.  It never has.  Our founding fathers purposely gave us two parts to the legislative branch to force reasoned legislation and compromise; an executive president to lead, and a judicial one to keep the others in line.  Most of the time, it works quite well.

Greg P, NW IN.  Excellent rebuttal posts today as always.

Full Moon.  Your response to Ron's comment proved his point.  When you have little or no respect for others, President or not, it reflects that you have little respect for yourself.  Maybe the Full Moon is  made of green cheese.

_______________

I’m sorry Pam… I had no IDEA and sincerely apologize if I caused you discomfort with my post!  Being a mother myself I can only IMAGINE what you must of went through!

My ex-husband was constantly threatening to take my daughter (although he was a US citizen) and the FEAR of that alone was intolerable!

The only ‘saving grace’ was he passed away before he could make good on his threats!

*hugs???*

As for the ‘beer summit’ YES… things were handled badly by all involved… however the point I was trying to make is… now that things have settled down there was a ‘lesson’ to be learned and it looks like these two were good pupils!
C, in PA: Has anybody here changed their mind about Obama yet?

I have. I didn't think he could be worse then expected, but Obama has certainly exceeded that benchmark.
Pam, San Pedro, California --- I had to go to the Middle East and find my own way to bring my children home!!

What, they ran away? Who can blame them.

What planet are you from?  I pay my cable TV; I pay it monthly and have for years; I have never felt it should be free so what the Hell is your problem?!?!  OH, I know, when you have nothing of substance to attack, you come up with some asinine thing like this!!

LOL!! Desperation!! It's good for us Democrats!!

No need to apologize my friend; lessons were learned but I wish the poor man that was jailed and recently released in Japan would get some help, or the poor man who has been fighting for his son in Brazil to be returned.

It's things like this that really get to me!! Lessons are learned, but sadly, it seems not always, and the most innocent continue to be the victims, our children!!
Hillary is doing a great job. I'd like to criticize Rice (the last SD chief) but would rather say that she had a terrible job with the two leaders she had to work with - Bush and Cheney of course. Rice and Korea? It just got worse and worse. Rice and Iran? Worse and worse. Rice and Iraq-Afganistan? Well, we see where the game plan got us: two countries without stable governments and a third on the way. Rice and good allies in Europe and around the globe?...not! The president and Hillary are running a good team in foreign relations. Two of the hardest working leaders we've had in many many years. The amount of work they have done makes me wonder more and more just what the past administration did beyond making more and more foes.

Yep, I got them mixed up. Both Jesse and Juan are generally incoherent and do not spell well. Honest mistake.
A little fence mending after the last Administration's disasterous foreign policy and there is always that up to now elusive peace between Israel and the Palastinians.
