Update from Christie HQ, part 2

From NBC's Shawna Thomas
Just a few minutes ago, New Jersey state Sen. Joe Kyrillos, Chris Christie's campaign chairman, took to the stage amid chants of "Red State! Red State." He warned the crowd that it could be a long night and rallied them with the information that the independent vote seems to be trending Christie. NBC's exit polling shows independents casting their ballots for Christie by an almost a 2-to-1 margin.

First, I'm a lifetime democrat who has always voted democratic, to include President Obama.

Moving on, I expect him to bring the troops home, instead, he signed a bill to pay the Taliban to come over to our side - like that will ever happen; ask the Russians!!

Next, I want the troops home; we cannot win; Al-Qaeda is no longer there and I am NOT willing to see one more American die policing a country!!

Finally, I do NOT expect President Obama to continue to authorize the CIA to continue payments to Ahmed Wali Karzai, the brother of the Afghan president!! I expected this from Dumbya, which he did for eight years; I did NOT expect Obama to continue this!!

Obama is failing us; he's failing those who voted for him; he's failing the men and women stuck in Afghanistan while he ponders what to do; he already knows what to do!! He knows he needs to bring them home; he's sitting around while more men and women die every day!!
Long night. Sure, about 10:15pm. 10:30 at the latest.
If Christie wins, perhaps President Obama will finally get moving!! New Jersey should be one HUGE wake up call!!
Linda Cummings, OR (Sent Tuesday, November 03, 2009 8:58 PM)

Oh please!! Virginia has been a red state forever; Obama was the first democrat in 44 years to carry it last November!!

Get over yourself and do your homework!!
Pam, San Pedro, California

You ignored NJ. How convenient. Dems got blasted in Virginia. And in NJ,Blue State forever, the Republican is up by 9 points.

Keep ignoring reality. It's what Democrats do best.

Slumbering Nero, ehh, Barack, won't get that message. Too much of an ego he has. He'll blame the whole bad deal on Deeds and Corzine. Throw them under the bus with everyone else he doesn't like.
I am 100% for recycling, so I sent Corzine my concession speech.

Excuse me!! Please see my post above, which states, "If Christie wins, perhaps President Obama will finally get moving!! New Jersey should be one HUGE wake up call"!!

DO KEEP UP NOW!!

No, no, ignoring reality is what repubs do best!!

Word is Obama isn't even watching the returns. Yet one more thing Obama is ignoring. The man is a human  ostrich, burying his head in the sand to avoid reality.
Pam,

I want the troops home as well. It is a mess in afghan and I don't want our troops to be in the crossfire with the political tension occuring there. However, pulling the troops out has to be done thoughfully and carefully. Second, I believe that change has occured with the mere fact that the president is talking to those who agree and disagree with us instead of alienating them. It will take time and patience to correct the errors of the past 8 years. You can't expect him to change 8 years of error in 9 months.

George W. Bush is here!! Hi ya, Dumbya!! Now go read My Pet Goat!!
Pam, San Pedro, California

I did. How'd you score the part of the goat?

Goats are ugly smelly beasts. But hey, Pam, it looks good on you.
Yeah Like Iran!
How do you like that deal they signed in Geneva last Month?

Well, they changed there mind now!  NO GO.  That bought them only 2 weeks time.  Either they are really stupid, or only needed a little time or pressure off them to finish what they were doing!?!?!?

Of course I don't expect the mess Dumbya and his administration created to be fixed in 10 months!! However, I do expect Obama to bring the troops home; he's waffling on a decision for no reason; there is no winning there period!!

And it's not just Afghanistan; it's DODT, DOMA, immigration and HCR!!

He has not handled healthcare reform well at all; he tossed the ball to Congress and walked away!!

DODT, DOMA should have been repealed by now; that certainly should not take months!!

Immigration, not a peep!!

That's why I'm angry; the economy was left a mess; I don't blame Obama, or expect it to be turned around overnight; that would be absurd!! I do, however, think he should have began bringing the troops home from an unwinnable war in Afghanistan, been involved in HCR and have repealed DODT by now!!

Now you know Cheney gave me the goat's head to put above my bed!!
Why should people in CA give a crap who wins in NJ, anyway???

M. Mitchell

Obama is coming up with a plan to deal with Irans lies. He'll have an opinion in "a few weeks".

Tony

California can fall into the ocean for all I care.
I am worried that NJ will not be a place that is good to raise a family any more with Christie as governor.  I don't think that he will live up to promise of maintaining the environmental laws and their enforcement because they hurt business.  I feel that he will cut the social services that protect people who can't protect themselves.  Business isn't what we need because it is too focused on the bottom line.  That causes problems.
sucks to be a lib tonight, America has woke up, Washington stop the out of control spending or we will send you all home and your free ride on our dime will be over, stop the crazy health care takeover!
If Obama doesn't get universal health coverage passed for ALL Americans, 2010 will be a slaughter!
It's always the Republican's fault!!!  Billy Clinton f'd up the country BIG TIME, it was HIS watch that the economy first started to hit the skids... it was HIS watch that let al Queada destroy the twin towers.  It was GW's watch that sent us into Iraq to stop the money train to our enemies... now obama is selling our allies out, kissing the tushes of those that want us dead, and now, FINIALLY, America is seeing just what democrates are shovel'n... and it smell like crap.  'bout time... but may be too late.

I wonder if michelle ob'y is still proud to be an American now???
