See I asked that we put aside Hyberbole. Because if folks insists on dragging ill advised military disasters into the mix I guess I could still be bashing you for defending Obama because he belongs to the same party that sent tens of thousands to their deaths in Korea and Vietnam on false pretenses.

Funny thing is I don't even belong to the GOP...I haven't supported them in the least (aside from Ron Paul) for 3 years, and before that my support was tepid at best. I never thought we should be going to war, or intervening in foreign countries soveriegn matters...but since I support actual conservative policy (and not this neo-con bull we've been fed for the last 30+ years) I get lumped in with the George Bush lovers.

So I ask again? How long before I can criticize democratic policy decisions?

This isn't a one party government. The sooner you Dems realize that the better.

And for all of you GOP naysayers be aware that Schiff isn't your typical GOP drone. He is a Libertarian/Constitutionalist who was on the staff of Ron Paul's campaign last year and is very much in step with traditional conservative politics. He was highly critical of the Bush Admin, and has been right about our economic collapse before anyone thought their might be a problem.

I think you guys misread this data, Dodd was 42% Schiff was 38% with 20% undecided. Simmons was 47% over Dodd 38% with 15% undecided. Further, with the tremendous skewing of Republican support and Strong Republican support I think we don't have an accurate 'blend' of the 400 surveyed. It appears that the bulk of those questioned identify as Republicans (which is hysterical given they've been SO hard to find lately). Oh well,...Polls/schmolls. Let's see where we are in a year. Just had another weekend where 6 people were murdered in Chicago, all of them in Obama's old state senate district. This follows 7 murders in Chicago the previous weekend.

Chicago also has a mayor that is hellbent on getting the Olympics, so much so he put the taxpayers of the city on the hook for another half a billion dollars in funding for the 2016 Olympics. The city alderman were surprised by this seeing they didn't authorize the mayor to make that agreement.

And these people are all Democrats.

Democrats - bleeding us all dry - one drop of blood at a time.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that in CT the legislature has to approve the Governor's nominee to replace. It was a change they made after Lieberman ran as VP because the Dems were worried about a Repub governor replacing Lieberman with a Republican and messing up the slight Dem majority back in 2001.

Barney Frank is another we should target. Both of these men, along with BO, had their hands deep in the till of Fannie and Freddie. Fannie and Freddie was not THE reason why the market collapsed last fall, yet it was a very key domino.

The press has yet to invesitgate this, along with the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, in any detail.
